While driving on M-26 toward Dollar Bay/Lake Linden on 1/27/16, a large Superior Service tow truck came up on my tail in the 40mph section of Ripley. The truck came barreling up behind me, so close that I could barely see it's lights in my rear view mirror. Mind you, I was actually going a few over the speed limit, considering the poor viability and road conditions. The truck remained overly close on my behind for 4-5 miles, while the driver was clearly making rude gestures, until I signaled and moved to the turning lane in Dollar Bay, At the same time, he entered into the turning lane. Once realizing that I was also merging, he merged back into the right lane and passed me. It appeared that he was going to pass me (Going 50mph in the 50 mph zone) in the passing lane. A very illegal move.
I'd encourage your company/drivers to be safer when driving, and not to use road rage (Especially with cars whom are respecting driving laws in poor winter conditions), or else may lose more customers. Should that truck, several times larger than my mid-sized SUV, have lost control, my car and myself would have been severely damaged.
The poor attitude, and further, the poor driving skill of the driver has made me not want to utilize your company in the future. I would not feel safe sending that driver back on the road for my own need. I'll be sure to find another company with safe drivers and a respect for people. read more
