Had them do our business parking lot and residential driveway. Excellent work, communication, and follow through. Will be using them again.

I hired Superior Seal Coating in September 2025 for an $800 driveway sealcoating job. The crew was professional and the work went smoothly, but I was disappointed with how the job held up and how the warranty issue was handled. Within 6 months, portions of the driveway showed significant deterioration. When I contacted the company about their one-year workmanship warranty, they declined coverage and attributed the failure to heavy shade. The estimate did include the line: "Shade may shorten the lifetime of the sealer, warranty is void in heavily shaded areas." The company evaluated my property before quoting the work. If they considered it high-risk at that point, a brief call or conversation would have changed my decision or at least set my expectations. That conversation never happened. I also disagree with the "heavily shaded" characterization itself. I have timestamped photos showing one of the failed areas receives several hours of direct sunlight each day. So either my driveway isn't actually heavily shaded -- in which case the warranty exclusion shouldn't apply -- or it was considered high-risk from the start and that wasn't communicated to me before I paid. To their credit, the company offered a credit toward reapplication, but paying again under the same conditions -- with the same warranty exclusion still in place -- seemed likely to produce the same outcome. I attempted to resolve this privately with the company before posting, including a written request for a partial refund, which was declined. After the company declined to provide any resolution beyond a discount on additional work under the same conditions, I'm sharing this for the benefit of other customers evaluating their options. read more

I swore I would not use them again and foolish me, I did. This Spring asked for an estimate and they came out and gave a an ok price in late June, 2025. I needed my driveway sealed this year because of some of the spots were getting worn because of the summer heat and there was some marks from a dumpster from 2024. The date for the service was Monday, August 18. That's almost 2 months out, but ok. On the night before, I just got finished putting cars in the street when they called and "Decided that I don't need my driveway sealed." They had some note that said I could wait 1-2 year. This was odd. Did the tell me when they made the estimate, no. Did they tell me when they made the appointment, no. Did the tell me when they confirmed the appointment days before, no. Late night on Sunday I got a text that they were checking the routes, saw a note and decided I did not need the service?'!? I asked my neighbor if he ever heard of that, he said they did it to him one year and all it meant was they were overbooked for that day and decided I was not getting service. Poor service is not a way to maintain a customer base. So, I can only spread the word that they are not trustworthy and you should avoid them at all costs. read more

We had used this company a few times in the past and had good results. This past year (yes, I waited a year to review) they did our driveway and I had some concerns of the adhesion of the product.I called and they said they would come out to look at the driveway and repair anything of concern. When a car would sit in the June heat it would buckle and a tire mark would be there and not go away. I had sent them areas that looked like they were thin and just not right. We had agreed on a date to have the driveway repaired (after the original sealant was placed in June 2025) They were to fix any areas of concern in August 2025. So we placed our cars on the street and waited and waited. Finally, a pick up truck with no equipment gets to our driveway and a guy comes to the door. I had my husband speak with him as I was on a business call. I then went out knowing full well he had zero intentions of repairing anything (no equipment was a dead give away). He said that it would look bad if they repaired then I said why would you say you would repair? And, I quote, "only if they entire driveway is peeling would we reseal." I said fine - and was tired of hearing him say the same thing over and over. I think I might have said that he wasted my day waiting for him to then have something totally different to say then his partner and have no equipment to remedy the issue. He then started to get agitated and while walking down my driveway turned and yelled from 20 feet that he was going to charge me for coming out to the house. I responded stating that this is a warranty issue. He again stated that he was going to charge me. To date - no bill - maybe I'll receive one after this review. My charges that the product was inferior to the previous years has been validated by 3 other reviews in the same time period that mine was done. Sad, I like using local businesses but more and more they are a dissapointment. read more

Their service was OK, but the coating lasted only about 9 months. We used Superior to seal our driveway May of 2021. Earlier this spring I started to notice that there were areas where the black coating was nearly gone. In general it appeared as though the material was spread too thin or was of poor quality. I sent an email to Superior and they said that they guarantee only for one year. When pressed, they said it should be good for 2-3 years depending on the environmental conditions such as sun exposure (??). I gave them a one star rating because since it is so close to the one year and by their own admission it should last for 2-3 years, they should stand by their product. To spend $374.00 and get less than one year out of it is not right. read more

End result is very nice. Only took them 30 minutes. Looks excellent and cost less than the DIY buckets at Home Depot. Note that they only apply the sealer, they don't prep your driveway, you need to do that yourself for the best results. I trimmed/edged and then power-washed the entire driveway the day prior, cleaning all oil stains with Purple Power. If you don't do this, the product won't stick properly. read more

I've used Superior several times in the past, however, the job they did last week was a joke. And they are making ZERO effort to make it right. Here's the latest email from the founder of the company, "It's a driveway Eric. It will not be flawless Enjoy your smear campaign online. It sounds like a good use of your time. FYI, we've never had anyone else post a review like this. Sounds like your one out of the thousands of customers we have "serviced". Best Regards, Jerry Limper Superior Seal Coating 484-886-1362 ext. 702" After seeing a response like this from founder of the company, I'll let you decide if this is a company that you'd like to do business with. read more

Completely useless. I called in August 2021 to get an estimate and I approved it. They said they would do the work "when we are in the area." Never showed up. In mid-October I called to find out where they were. They said "the sealcoating season is over" and I was out of luck. Could they have called and told me I was cancelled? Complete idiots. read more

I made an appointment last year to have my driveway sealed around July. They cancelled on me once because of rain, i had to change date once because of medical emergency and they cancelled the last one they made in September - because it might rain and they decided to shut down for the year anyway. Promised me twice they would call and honor the estimate given if done by Memorial Day 2022. Well guess what. - they didn't call so I contacted them showing them the estimate and promise to honor it. their answer - "We'd be happy to get your scheduled for service this year, however, at this time we are no longer able to honor estimates from 2021. Due to inflation on costs such as materials, gas, and labor, our prices have gone up since then. We could provide you with an updated estimate, after which we could discuss scheduling you this season." After promising twice that they would DEFINITELY honor the estimate since they were the ones who cancelled on me. would never ever use this dishonest company. read more

First and last time we will contract with "Superior" Seal Coating. Beyond disappointed with the quality of the seal coating applied to our 6 year old driveway. We now have cracks everywhere and the sealant seems more like paint you would have used on your walls. If you want an inferior looking driveway...then give Superior Seal Coating a call! read more

We have used Superior in the past...all with satisfactory results. However, their latest job was sub par. The mix was not applied evenly and left various brush marks. Chris at Superior tried to explain it as the texture/age of the driveway. I'm not buying it. We are disappointed with the job and his comments. Can't/won't recommend/use them again. read more

Very disappointed. The application left large swirl marks. I thought they would settle as it dried. I was horrified when I drove home at night and the headlights caught every swirl. Also, some spots were left bare because the large tool couldn't get them. You would think they'd have every size brush to ensure the entire drive was covered. I sent an email saying I was not satisfied. Got reply saying Owner would come out to my house. A guy just showed up at my house. I assume it was the Owner. He did not introduce himself. He was absolutely arrogant. Said he saw only 1 swirl and that is covered by the estimate saying some brush marks may be noticeable. I said many swirls are noticeable at night and he simply said he can't look at it at night. So he refused to do what was needed to see the entire scope of the issue. Talking about the bare spots, he said they have small brushes, but not as small as what was needed on my drive. I asked "why not"? In summary, he took an argumentative stance as opposed to making the customer happy .... I was only looking for seal coating that was of the quality I've had from various providers over the past 2 decades. Another thing to note is that all interaction with this company is through email. You never talk to a person from requesting a quote through scheduling the work and getting the invoice. I prefer developing a report with people. read more

Superior came out to seal coat my driveway. They were punctual and the workers that completed the work were professional and completed the job in a timely manner. Unfortunately, we experienced issues with our driveway. I contacted Superior and they were helpful and agreed to come out to take a look at the issue. One of the owners came out right away and I showed them the areas of concern. I was advised by the owner that we need to wait to see the final product after 60 days, as this is when the seal coat would be fully cured. At that time, I was approached by another owner who was extremely rude to me and demanded payment. He said he felt the driveway was fine and that he expected to be paid for the work. I was holding payment until the issues were addressed and we came to an agreement that worked for both parties. He said that I was lying and that I was not told that the driveway would be looked at again in 60 days. He came to my home and raised his voice with me. I said that this is no way to speak to a customer, and he explained that I was not a customer because I did not pay the invoice. I asked him to leave and I paid my invoice in full. I guess they are a good company when things work out and the customer is satisfied with the work. But if there is an issue, beware. read more

Outstanding price and very honorable company. Rain came after they did the job and Chris called to reschedule a second seal coat at no charge because the rain washed away the first job. I didn't even need to reach out to the company, he called me. I would definitely use them again! read more
