I have been calling/texting them or their contractors daily for almost 3 months. Since initially calling they have closed their local office, I've been referred to people that never answer the phone or call back, the guy that they did finally assign to my case suddenly telling me that he no longer works for SE and stops responding to me, texts and emails going unanswered. The contractor that they sent out described to me a 4 day job to repair all the issues. SE only approved a minimal repair that took less than an hour. SE is denying that they ever did some of the work accusing me of hiring another company. I told them to contact the project manager or the contractor that did the work 4 years ago to confirm the work, but they refuse to do so. Probably because they also no longer work for the company. I have escalated my concerns to management of SE and they are denying any further repairs. They are not accepting any fault for the work failing. They are trying to claim it's a natural occurrence due to temperatures in my garage. I never had any of these issues before they performed the work. SE should not be referred to do any work! Between the lack of communication, unprofessional workers I've had to deal with, insinuating that I'm lying about the work they completed, my project manager being layed off in the midst of doing my job and having no point of contact, management not calling or emailing me back when they said they would, doing the minimal work possible just to say they're finished with me and closing my file, etc. SE has now shown itself to be a HORRIBLE company to work with and I'm still stuck with this poor work in my garage. No company should see my garage and say this is satisfactory work. This experience was with SE of Macon. They have now closed their office and I've been dealing with the district coordinator. So I can only imagine this work ethic goes across all parts of SE.

Our point man was Shane Renfroe, and through the process he kept in contact with us. Their bid was refreshingly within our budget, and we chose the Rustic Hickory architectural shingles. The crew arrived early in the morning, laying tarps and getting items prepped. Our 7am wakeup was when they started removal of the old roof shingles and felt. Through the day they were active and engaged. The crew worked quickly, and were very professional and polite in our interactions. By 4:30 they were in the final stages of cleanup, and by 5 they were done. There were several passes with various magnetic devices in the final cleanup to try to catch as many of the nails and other metallic debris that had fallen during the activity. After they left I made a cursory round of the house and found only 2 nails. The next day my wife spotted a place in our guest room ceiling where the drywall/finish had cracked a bit. We asked Shane to send someone over to take a look at that and a few places where we had spotted gutter guards that had been pushed out of alignment. They arrived within a couple of days, and they after a thorough inspection of the area and the roof above was able to determine that there were no structural issues nor probable leak issues, and that it was just a thin roof/ceiling structure and some incidental movement with people moving around with bags of shingles. They straightened the gutter guards back in place and ran another set of magnet nail catchers around the house a few times just in case. Through the whole process, Renfroe Roofing provided good communication, timely work, and quality workmanship throughout the process. Beyond a few plastic "tags" blown about by the wind they did an excellent job of cleaning the area, and we are very happy with our new roof.

This summer we had Steve, the owner, come back again and advise us regarding issues we had with our sunroom. Rather than demolition of the structure and and starting from scratch, Steve advised us to have new doors and gutters installed and the roof resurfaced with a rubber membrane which ended up saving us thousands of dollars since there was little demo involved and the original structure was utilized effectively. There is now water damage to a different area in the spare bedroom and in our storage shed out back. We've received No response to calls, texts, or emails since they came out to fix the original leak. More than $20,000 spent to replace a roof and now we will have to find someone else to inspect and repair the leaks and replace the ceiling in our guest room and in our storage shed. I was disappointed in the beer bottles left all over the property by the workers, the pallet of materials they never picked up that are still sitting in my driveway, and that we never received the warranty or signed documents. Now I am incredibly frustrated that we have to hire someone else to clean up the mess.
