I had the steak teriyaki and split a California roll with the table. Both were good. The teriyaki was not the best I've ever had but a bit better than average. The sushi was definitely average. I mean, granted it was a "beginner" sushi roll because of the company I brought, but still. The Japanese side salad though was very good. The others at the table tried the miso soup and the ramen with chicken. They enjoyed trying them as sort of newbies to asian food and they liked them. The service was fast and friendly, and the robot cart that brings out your food is kind of fun. We watched it sing happy birthday to another table and bring out a piece of cake which was kind of cute. Prices were reasonable for what it was.

Not ever having been to this restaurant, I stroll inside the Holiday Center and notice the sign "seat yourself". Okay, I thought, I'll just sit. Now, as I walk in, I was not greeted by a single person (there were apparently two white male workers; note: this is a japanese restaurant but there were no asian people present, which confused me). I sat for a bit, while one of the white men talked to a woman.. so I guessed that I'd have to go up to the counter to order. I ask the guy behind the bar if I order with him.... He looks at me like I'm the stupidest person alive, makes a motion to whatever he's doing behind the counter, and says, "I can't do it, since I'm doing all this... OBVIOUSLY", yes the last part was yelled in a sarcastic, rude manner. I got up and walked out, without having tried the ramen. How I wish I would've tasted it, and invited all my friends, but alas never again. I encourage everyone to avoid this place. There is no need for rudeness in this world, especially for someone who was so eager to be a valued customer.
