Most of the clothes are in very good condition, and every time I go I find something that a) I like and b) fits. Apparently they have days when you can fill a bag full of clothes for $4.00. I haven't purchased anything other than clothes here, but I perused the housewares section and they had some nice items. They have skis and other sporting goods there occasionally, too. They also have huge framed pictures of Jesus that you can buy, if you're into that.

Looking back now, I realize that her standards come from a genuine commitment to keeping everyone safe on the road. Today, after years of continuing to practice and refusing to give up, I decided to take my test with Karen again. She was patient, kind, and understanding. She even waited outside in the rain for nearly 20 minutes while I searched for my paperwork without making me feel rushed. During the test, she gave clear instructions well in advance, making it easier to focus on driving safely and confidently. After the test, she took the time to write down areas where I could continue improving, even though I passed. I truly appreciated that extra effort because it showed that her goal isn't just to pass or fail people--it's to help them become safer, more confident drivers. Honestly, if I had passed the first time, I probably wouldn't have the perspective I have today. The experience taught me that sometimes we're not ready yet, and that's okay. I believe everything happens in its own time. Karen is willing to make the difficult decisions, even knowing some people may leave disappointed, because she'd rather face that frustration than approve someone who isn't yet ready to drive safely. That takes integrity, and I have a great deal of respect for her because of it. Thank you, Karen, for your professionalism, your patience, and your dedication to making Michigan's roads safer.

I still don't know if they have any other colors on hand, so I only got part of what I needed. Not a problem as I can get it cheaper online. When I was done looking the clerk was simply rude, no greeting, no thank you and to add insult to injury he had the gall to toss my change on the counter instead of handing it to me. This wasn't setting the change on the counter, it was an obvious toss intended to exhibit hostility. I've bought things there before, but never again, nor will I refer people to them... Good job shooting yourself in the foot.
