He gives great feedback for him on what he needs to work on for the next lesson. He made sure my son knew it was his responsibility to schedule his appointments and make sure he was on time for the lessons. He is the only driving instructor in the area that I know of, so he is quite busy. At times can be hard to get ahold of so just be persistent and keep calling and leaving messages.

Today, after years of continuing to practice and refusing to give up, I decided to take my test with Karen again. She was patient, kind, and understanding. She even waited outside in the rain for nearly 20 minutes while I searched for my paperwork without making me feel rushed. During the test, she gave clear instructions well in advance, making it easier to focus on driving safely and confidently. After the test, she took the time to write down areas where I could continue improving, even though I passed. I truly appreciated that extra effort because it showed that her goal isn't just to pass or fail people--it's to help them become safer, more confident drivers. Honestly, if I had passed the first time, I probably wouldn't have the perspective I have today. The experience taught me that sometimes we're not ready yet, and that's okay. I believe everything happens in its own time. Karen is willing to make the difficult decisions, even knowing some people may leave disappointed, because she'd rather face that frustration than approve someone who isn't yet ready to drive safely. Online learning experience was good, easy navigation and easy to refresh if you need it. However,…read morewhen it came to the behind-the-wheel, I was told different things by each instructor. One instructor told me to keep my whole car behind the stop sign/stop line, another told me to keep my passenger side mirror behind the stop sign. On my last lesson, I had an instructor who would not let me adjust the passenger side mirror. Also on my last lesson I was driving 38 in a 40 and I got scolded because he thought it was 35 which is an honest mistake but then when I tried to bring it up to him that it is 40, he proceeded to ignore me. On my last lesson I was told that I probably won't pass. Keep in mind that I had 4 instructors I am unsure how many there are. Overall, I learned almost nothing from the behind-the-wheel experience from this school. Online learning process was great but this is far below average. This is from a students point of view. Hopefully parents can make the correct choice when choosing a driving school.

i was successful..i did the driver refresher course and used that as an evaluation of my driving…read moreskills for my doctor. i am older with a health issue...my doc thought it time for me to stop driving. i disagreed...what was not fair wad she was not taking unto account how much i limit my driving because of age and health. i was able to do my evaluation with aabc custom..only on roads and destinations i actually use....tom said i could eatch my mirrors more. something most older drivers need to do...more defensive driving...i am more alert when driving now. i sit up straighter watch my mirror more and cross traffic. trust the other driver less. doc says i can.keep.my.license for another year...i am more than happy about it and so grateful to tom of aabc driving school....they got my evaluation in time for my doc appointment...another reason to be grateful to aabc driving school. hope all have as good of an experience as i did. lynn vanderbloemen
