I arrived a couple hours early, I did not get the best explanation on what I can do or ect. But, I figured it out. The Spa area is mostly in the lower level. The dressing room is past the check in area to your left, lovely area to change, shower, sauna and get ready. Just down the hall on your left is a relaxation room, where later I visited and read the book I brought. Then I went back to the front desk grabbed a pass key went upstairs to the pool, hot tub, sauna, bathroom and gym area. I had it all to myself! What an dream! The view from the hot tub was so amazing, the sky and lake were so relaxing, children were ice skating, birds were playing in a bush. I must have had the largest smile on my face! After that I went to go read and before I knew it I was getting my facial, so heavenly! After I used the shower area, went up stairs to grab a late lunch unfortunately they were on break, so I grabbed a glass of ice water and was on my way. I can't wait to go back!

This is a review of the deep tissue massage that I received from chiropractor McCabe Plaas...which…read morewas outstanding! I am a visitor to the area and appreciated his willingness to accept me as a non-client. I had been dealing with a 2-week long piriformis issue that made sitting on chairs and in the car very uncomfortable. Dr. Plass was professional in all ways: 1) took time to listen carefully to my concern, 2) asked about my preferences for pressure, 3) checked along the way to see how I was feeling, and 4) showed me stretches after it was over. But most important to me was his knowledge of the interconnectedness of muscles, ligaments, tendons. The big difference between an okay massage and a great massage is someone who understands the mechanics and structure of the musculoskeletal system and pressure points. He knew where to apply pressure to relieve spasms and how to elongate tightened muscles in the directions they relax and expand. I plan to go one more time before heading out of town and would go again the next time I come back. I highly recommend him to locals and out-of-town visitors.
