First of all, it took forever to track the guy down. He finally showed up, took a look at my system and my furnace electrical and seemed confused. Said he needed a transformer. Hmm. Really? The furnace is 3 years old. Nothing exotic. Even I could decipher the wiring. Anyway, he said he needed to take my owner's manual with the wiring diagram and ask some people. This was Tuesday and he said held he'd be back Thursday or Friday to complete. Then he ghosted me. Tried calling Friday afternoon - no answer. Called again Tuesday. Nothing. Hey, I know things cone up, but it takes 2 min to call me back and let me know what's up. Gave up and called Menza & Zak. They came out two days later and had me up and running in 40 min. No "transformer" needed. In summary, I guess if you needed some manual labor like gutters cleaned or drain snaked he might be ok. I wouldn't let him touch anything electrical and I certainly wouldn't give him a bunch of money up front for a big job like a kitchen remodel. Too unreliable.
