Superior gate fixed a problem with my gate caused by a short in a wire installed by the phone company. I had been living with this on and off problem for months. I reluctantly called Superior (re; prior bad experience) in order to have a new remote programmed to the automatic gate. The super nice and professional employee showed up and quickly programmed the new remote (provided by me), squirted some lube on the gate arms and was then on his way, no more than 15-20 minutes total. My invoice arrives the following day, $201.00. As mentioned, I provided the remote ($40), so it cost me $240.00 to add a remote. My front gate system went out with the 5g switch over! Needless to say the previous Gate System company would do nothing about it so my only recourse was to buy a new system. I reached out to several companies but Superior Gate Service was the best. They came out right away, gave me a quote and installed the system, in under a week, which they had to order. Their service was exceptional. The system is new and looks beautiful. And it was much less than two other quotes I received. I will definitely use them again if I need anything! This is a gate company that I've been using for years now and I must say that their quality of work that is performed will leave your gate working flawlessly for years to come. We wanted to upgrade our gate to a wifi enabled smart gate. We have used Superior Gates before and were always happy with their workmanship and attention to detail. Tanya in the office is cheerful and helpful. She was able to advise me about gate opener selection and managed to get the new unit within a couple of days. During the installation they severed an electrical line and also the low-voltage line to the sprinkler clock and refused to take any responsibility! In addition the kid who welded the arm to the gate, did such a poor job and the arm fell off soon after installation. They then charged me to reattach it saying that I had somehow yanked it off. They knew the exact issue why the gate was not closing. Not like other companies I called . Some said we need new tiring, some said sensor issues , some said we need the entire new equipment. These guys are horrible!!! DO NOT USE!!! came to do a reprogramming of gate code. I wasnt home and left check for $180. Came here fiddled around and said they couldn't do it because they didn't know how to do work on this brand. They still took check because they said they tried and it was tgeir labor!!! Called them back guy waa a jerk. They quoted me $500 for new gate pad, mind mine was working fine just wanted to change for security, they didn't know how to fix....Horrible!!!! I ended up finding same gate key pad they quoted me for $150 online. I finally after keep on calling got one of their guys to install it. Liberally my not much later my gate started freaking out and randomly would open and close on its own, and has only gotten worse. Im not saying it was there doing, but it was perfect timing after they messed with it. WILL NOT USE AGAIN! read more

Had our battery go out on the solar called to have them replace them worked for one day called for them to fix it said they need to replace the batteries again and should replace a lot of stuff . We called another company to see what they said changed the batteries to the same size and works great now . They charged me for 2 sets of batteries that never worked new service people suck don't use them . read more

Hooray, finally found a service to install the gate motors we bought a year ago. They came quickly for the quote and then booked the service 2 days later so less than 1 week total. Wayne and Eff did the install and were very good at going over the settings and choices in the timer options. Superior gate services has provided services before. They've come to program our gate clickers. They are on the expensive side. We had them come out this time to see what was wrong with our gate because it wouldn't close. They recommend that we replace the entire box without telling me why. I got a quote for the cost of the replacement box. I had another gate company come out and look at gate. They were able to point out that the batteries that we had were not the correct voltage for the gate. He tested somethings in the box before saying we needed to replace it. He only charged $20 to come out and diagnose our gate problem. I called superior gates to inform them that because we have dogs we would need the box replaced sooner rather than later so we went with a different company who could come out the next day to replace the box. When I informed the customer service lady said she understood and didn't mention anything about a charge for them initially coming out. Today, I received an email stating that we owed them $136. Again, they didn't do anything to our gate. So I called the gate company to see why there was a charge and she stated that it was because we went with the other company they had to charge us for coming out. Normally there isn't a service charge if they do not do anything. I told her it would've been nice if she had told me that on the phone when I was talking to her and the communication on her end was not good. I will not be using this company again. They will cheat you out of your money. read more

Nothing but positive things to say about this company. I had called them last week first when my automatic gate stopped working but then remembered that I had a home warranty so told them never mind but then it ended up not being covered. So I emailed them back and they called me the next business day and came over within an hour! Scott came out and told me it just needed some tuning up and the actual opener was in good shape and one of the best ones. So he did a tune up and he helped me change the code for my gate opener! DO NOT USE THEM. Terrible customer Service. Made arrangements on Thursday for them to come out Saturday. On Saturday told me they had car trouble and couldn't make it. Rescheduled for Sunday from 2-4pm. Call on Sunday at 2pm and asked to send them picture of gate panel so he would know what type of tools to bring. Sent them pic and waited. At 4pm I texted if they were close and he texts back that he can come on Tuesday. I call office and she said he wasn't even suppose to work today And he can make it Tuesday. I told her it was their fault they had to come today and she had nothing to say but um. TERRIBLE SERVICE!!!! I would give them NO stars if I could. This company was awesome. I called two different gate repair companies off of craigslist to change a code in my gate call box and both said they couldn't do it because it was too old. Shawn from Superior had it done in less than 10 mins. He also said he'd have the front office mail me a key to the box since I didn't have one, a step way beyond what someone normally would have done, Also, the craigslist guys wanted $145 for a new remote, Shawn from Superior only charged me $35 each. He even went to a 2nd location to key the remotes to the gate on my other property as well Very satisfied with their service and their prices. I will definitely use them again. Sorry to be the dissenting vote here, but our experience is not very good. He came out to check our gate and sell us three remotes for $35 each. I offered to pay him on the spot. He told us not to worry about it, he would send us a bill. A week later we got an invoice for almost $300! He charged $86 just to travel to us (they are a local company that does a lot of work in the area) and another $100 for an hour of his time; plus the cost of the remotes. We were never told up front that he charged for local travel time. I immediately contacted him with questions regarding his quote to do further work, the invoice and to ask if they had remotes with a better range. Several attempts and a month later and still no response. I will have to look elsewhere for gate services. read more
