We got home from Arizona on Friday, may 6th after "snow birding" since early October. Softly after…read morewe left, we had them fill the tank, as propane fireplaces are our back up in case the electricity goes out. When we got home on Friday we tried lighting the fireplace. We couldn't get it going, so my husband went out and checked the tank which was empty. On Saturday we called, and they said they would send someone out on Monday. On Monday when we never heard from anyone, we called again. The lady said she had no note that said we had a problem. We have not been here since October, and there would be no reason for it to be empty unless there was a leak. This is the second time that there has been a leak with their tank, and this is just not a Comfort issue. We need the back up for electricity. They still haven't called us back. I would give them a negative if I could.

Gayle will tell you that when we travel, I'm prone to point out a property and state that it used to be a gas station, or look at a building and guess which brand designed it. As an example, some old Shell stations are easy to spot. So when my Brother suggested with stop at the gas station that was designed by Frank Lloyd Wright, I was all ears. Plus, we really did need to fill up the car (on the way to Ely MN) and take a comfort break. The Best Service Station itself was very non assuming, and it appeared to have an active car service bays. Bathrooms were upstairs behind some sort of cool "lounge" area, and the nice attendant was more than happy to fill our tank. And for a modest price, I purchased a nice branded coffee cup to remind of this cool little bit of architecture hidden within this small Midwest town.

The offered a larger vehicle but not for the same date and time. The extent of the help they provided was to give me the number of their regional office so I could call and try and find another option. No luck due to end of month moving activity. The lesson is don't count on them because "confirmed" doesn't mean confirmed, and they aren't going to lift a finger to help when you get bumped due to over booking or bad planning. And surprise, here's the message I got when I tried to leave feedback on their site: "There was an error processing your request" "Something went wrong on our end. We've made a log of what happened, and will fix the issue as soon as possible. Please try again in a few minutes." Good luck if you go ahead and rent from this place, you will need it!!
