Have a chip or crack on your bathtub? Don't waste your time…read morelooking for a solution. I researched and talked to several so called specialist. They were less than professional and wanted hundreds of dollars for a simple small chip repair! It was my great fortune to talk with Derek and discuss my problem. He asked me to send a picture of the damage ( see pictures). Within minutes he texted me a price that was in my budget. His system to schedule the service call was easy and provided step by step updates of the tech's arrival. Kyle showed up on time and went to work immediately. His attention to detail and explanation was extraordinary. His work is amazing and the damage impossible to find. After the visit you will receive an email with a user friendly way to pay the invoice and print a copy. I cannot stress enough the total satisfaction this company and its people provide. I've worked with the Tub Guy (Andres) on a few projects, and I still stand by my Five Star review!!…read moreIn fact, I'd like to add another reason for it: Andres honors his warranty. If you're currently trying to choose the right refinishing company, ask about their warranty. How long it lasts? What's covered? Take the time to read reviews and see if that company actually stands behind it. Andres explains all of that upfront, in writing, but more importantly, he follows through when you need it, without having to chase him down. That level of service is rare. Between the quality of his refinishing work, respectful of my property, showing up on time, and his commitment to standing behind it, he's earned my trust. 100% would not hire anyone else. Knowing he'll be there again for my next project makes the investment completely worth it. TIP: The Tub Guy offers free estimates. You've nothing to lose to reach out and get one.

So no apology for him cussing at me inside my home, or as he left yelling "this guys fucking…read morecrazy". No apology for him showing up 20 plus minutes early without warning while I was attempting to prepare the work for him, which is unprofessional in its own right. A disconnect in the difference in work is understandable, but there was more than one piece in my original email. The tone of the employee in my home ensured it didn't matter what he offered, he is not fit for this job. There was also not blue tape throughout the house, there was blue tape in two rooms, on five total pieces of furniture, two of which you already had photos of. Trying to defend yourself in the yelp review without even the decency to apologize for the character of your employee is embarrassing. Especially along with the fact that you're lying about the amount of items in my original email and the amount of markings in my home. Nor did you even acknowledge how the employee treated me in my own home. I'm happy to provide my email and yours as proof here that you were not clear about the pricing nor the amount of work you were doing.

We decided to contact Sharp over other refinishers because they are a local small family business with great reviews and an awesome informative website that thoroughly details the refinishing process, chip repair vs refinishing, exactly what to expect, and details on how to maintain and protect your tub. The process for requesting a quote and booking was easy and quick, I received a detailed quote the same day from Debbie with additional information on the process and exactly what to expect. The day of service, Jim took great care to cover and protect other surfaces in the bathroom and set up a good effective ventilation system before starting the refinishing process. He came back the next day to remove protective covering, replaced drain hardware with new and re-caulked around the tub and even another area of the bathroom that needed it! The refinished tub is absolutely beautiful, the finish is flawless. Jim is a true craftsman, it's obvious he and Debbie are committed to providing great customer service and top quality work. This is the best home contractor experience we've ever had!
