Do you dislike sales people pulling the hard sell with their water samples? Because when you want a…read morewater softener and water system, that's what you'll get. I'm not financing an $19,000 system. So I did what any rational person would do and looked for an independent business owner local to me who could install the equipment I wanted but also service it continually. Chris met with us quickly and was happy to do the system exactly how I wanted it, with quality parts from some of the best manufacturers with solid warranties. He was happy to install some other equipment I bought and set up my over the top redundancies so we will always have the ability to service the system at any time without losing water access. Chris is really a straightforward and down to earth guy who uses industry standard gear all the way up to complete overkill and doesn't try to upsell at all. He specifically quoted us on a right-sized system and was happy to accommodate my specifications and equipment. All installed in a day and exactly how I envisaged.

Absolute rip-off -- Costco connection is misleading. Stay far away…read more This is one of the worst purchases we have ever made. We went with this company only because they are connected with Costco, assuming that meant quality, transparency, and accountability. That assumption was completely wrong. We paid $8,500 for a water softener and RO system, and from day one it has been problem after problem. The system never alerted us about salt refills, and no one clearly explained this to us. As a result, the unit ran without salt for many months, which is extremely alarming and potentially damaging to plumbing, appliances, and water quality. This is not a small oversight -- it is a serious failure for a system at this price point. After installation, the company dramatically increased the price of RO filters, effectively trapping us into sky-high ongoing costs. Once the system is installed, you realize it is a never-ending money pit. You are locked in, with no reasonable alternatives, and the expenses keep adding up. The sales process is polished and convincing, but after the check is cashed, support and transparency disappear. The Costco association gives a false sense of security. Do not assume Costco's name means protection here -- it does not. If you are considering this system, please do yourself a favor and walk away. There are far better, more honest, and more affordable options available. This was a huge financial regret, and I strongly advise anyone reading this to stay as far away as possible.

EcoWater installed and serviced my water filter system a few years ago when we rebuilt the kitchen…read more When it came time to replace the filters the service agent came to the house, did the work, and then demonstrated how to install new filters when needed ourselves to save the expense of a service call. After several months the filters needed replacement and the office advised that those filters had been recalled by the manufacturer and sent us a new set at no cost. After we had some issues with getting the system to work properly the agent in the office walked us through the installation and provided more detailed instructions. He followed up twice to be sure the new filters were working properly to our satisfaction. Customer service is among the best we have ever seen and we do not hesitate to recommend them for any and all service work and/or installation of a water filtration system. Look no further than EcoWater for this kind of project.

Came across Masterpiece, which I forgot was even there. Debbie and Simo are terrific. Simo is incredibly knowledgeable and helpful. Debbie is also excellent, very professional and patient and helpful on design as well. Prices are also reasonable. The only reason I give them a four instead of a five star review is due to the small in-house selection; I understand the reasons why, but I wish they had a little bigger showroom with more lighting displays. Of course you can always order online, but it's also nice to see everything as is.
