This town centre Boots is well laid out and well stocked. It has a good size chemist in the rear,…read moreand a photo shop too. There is also a passport photo booth inside at the rear. It has a good selection of mens and womens perfumes and fragrances. Some good offers are usually just inside the front doors. There is also a small electrical section for hair straighteners, hair dryers and so on. Some food items are available, but not much. There are generally no clothes, although sometimes they have a few childrens things. All in all, it has most of everything you would expect to find in Boots, but only in smallish quantities!

Left a prescription on Saturday afternoon and was told I could collect it after mid-day on Monday…read more Apparently this was wrong and it wouldn't have been ready, but it was Tuesday when I went to collect. First they couldn't find the paper prescription - someone found it lying on top of a cupboard. Although the bag was sealed it was incomplete - the two boxes of eye drops I needed were missing - the prescription obviously had not been checked. After a search, one box was found. I pointed out for the gentleman serving me that this was wrong - there should be two - and staff concluded they had not ordered the right items. The manager wasn't in that day to complain to but staff thought she'd be in the next day! Eye drops, although important to me, are not a life or death item but next time their incompetence could have serious consequences. People should be told when a prescription actually WILL be available for collection, the correct items should be ordered, the prescription should be checked after being dispensed and it should be made ready to be picked up. This is shockingly bad.

The Super drug store on Cornwall Street is fairly small and located in the quieter side of the city…read morecentre. I find when I go in there sometimes it gets a little squeezed with pushchairs and lots of people, especially on a Saturday afternoon! I think the staff are efficient and friendly, and they always seem happy to help. The prices are obviously similar to other stores in the UK, but they are generally cheaper than Boots. I think the main difference is Superdrug seem to host a range of offers, I am often amazed by how many offers there are! Overall it does the job, and that is it really, nothing that stands out about this place being amazing.
