The layout is a faux oldy worldy bar, with brass and wood everywhere and loads of old books on shelves at the back of the bar, if you get the chance have a brief glance over them (there's some beauties from the early 1900's). For Truro it's probably the cheapest place to get a pint and the food is very cheap, it does get very busy at lunchtimes though, there is loads of seating inside and it stretches pretty far back. The food service is very fast, longest we've ever waited is 10 minutes but the bar service can be the same as Falmouth, sometimes a good 10 minutes stood waiting. But then if your after a cheap, quickish drink and sandwich then you can't go wrong.

This is a huge shop over two floors with good lift access…read more Selling clothing for men, women and children, plus shoes, underwear, homewares, gifts and toys there is a bit of everything in there. But the trouble is finding it! As a discount store although things are grouped according to type sometimes it can take a lot of sifting through (especially clothing) to find what you are after. If you have the time and patience to look through things like that though there are bargains to be had in all areas. Despite the effort in finding things I still love this shop, in part because the prices can be good and also because often you don't know quite what you will find in there!

Beauty brands available include Dior, Chanel, Yves Saint Laurent, Clinique, Benefit and Clarins, some of which aren't widely available on other highstreets in the county. You can even book a makeover and let one of the professionals show you how it's done. There are plenty of on-trend clothes and accessories, including bags, belts and shoes, as well as a small cafe serving snacks and drinks. This shop is well worth a visit if you're heading to Truro for a girly day's shopping, but remember it's one of the smaller stores so don't be disappointed that you haven't got 7 floors to peruse!
