The receptionist said the charge was $20. Their website claims that children ages 0-5 are age x $2 so I was expecting to pay less than half of the price charged, which we've done before (see attached photo of pricing from their website). I understand that some stylists may charge more, but I should have been told that information when the appointment was scheduled, so that I could have made a more informed decision. I feel like that is a shady way of doing business. I think the best decision at this point would be to never refer or return to salon Avanti.

I went in, showed how I wore my hair (plenty to brush back) and asked for just a trim with scissors and he agreed to keep it nice and full. After seeing all my hair falling down the drape I even thought "wow do I really have that much hair?" He spins me around and - the butchers strike again. He must've taken more than 2.5 inches off and gave me a high and tight buzz like I'm a sergeant in the military. My head looks like an egg.
