My husband had a massive heartattack. I am his caretaker. Time is scarce. I went to supercuts to get my hair cut. I saw signs that they are color experts so I decided to spoil myself. Never so upset in my life. My thick long blond in great condition is now dark with streaks of pink and red, dark brown around face and ears. I Left with wet hair and reluctant to pay but hair dresser said don't worry it will lighten when it dries. Flipping out, I Went back next day again. Did 2 more processes. Did nothing. Asked for my $97.00 back was told sorry we don't refund $ no matter what. Manager called and confirmed they will not give me money back. 2 times, hours spent there and no refund to pay someone else to fix this mess. Crying for the disgusting way i was treated.. Stay away from coloring here. They have no idea what they are doing. I just wanted a root touch up. I frequent Supercuts about 2-3x per year. I go hear when the Depot Barber shop is closed. This shop has longer hours, as well as being open on Mondays. Full of strange young females singing to top 40 hip hop...YIKES! Men's cut $14.95 plus $2.00 tip. My fade was not that bad, yet I do not have much hair left! Awkward, no coat rack, so one must drape coats over hairy chairs or worse! read more

Supercuts has a great team of stylists who are all equally trained and pay specific attention to detail. Need to find a salon that is open this the one! I had a matted knot in my hair that was literally like a brick and had 3/4 ths of my hair tangled up in it. The ladies at Supercuts spent hours patiently working on getting the knot out . They were very nice the entire time it took it was 4 hours total just to get the knot out . I had long hair so needless to say it needed a different style than I had before the knot they made a couple suggestions on how to make it look good after a situation like that I would recommend them to anyone Thank you so much for helping me with my issue I know it was an easy task read more

They make you go online to schedule an appointment so I did. Scheduled a men's hair cut for 1140. I get there and sit in the waiting area while 4-5 people who came in after me get called for 12 o'clock appointments. I get up and go to the front desk and the girl tells me they don't take appointments...so what the hell did I do earlier to set my time at 1140?!?! she basically told me I could sit around for another 20 minutes or leave. Been getting hair cut at Supercuts Desert Ridge for several Years. Great service and available hours. My current stylist, Kim, listened first time she cut my hair. After 2nd time never had to say a word. She does a wonderful job. Hair lays is place with little combing effort. By far and away the worst hair cut experience to date.... The place was empty when I got there and still took 35 mins to get seated as I watched one of the woman just doing nothing and walking around and filling the lollipop basket that was already 3/4 full instead of cutting hair. The girl who cut my hair or should I say attempted to was just obnoxious and lacking skills. She first burned my scalp twice with her cutters as it was so hot it felt like my scalp was on fire. She then grabbed a secondary clipper and now shaved my other side of my head uneven and high and low spots. The haircut came out so bad that I will have no choice but to wear a hat as it is embarrassing to say the least. she cut one sides part thin and barely can see it and the other side is wide and it just looks like shit. I've been going to this location for about 6 months now and must say I should have written a review sooner. Staff is friendly, will go over with you how they will cut your hair and style before doing it. The price is reasonable, and well worth tipping above the normal 20%. The only reason why I gave it a four star, is because they are understaffed. They were only two stylist and they should have at least had a third person to work the register and the phone. I brought my son for a haircut and the lady who did his hair ruined it. She did a 2 on one side of his head and a 3 on the other side of his head, then my son asked if she could even the side burns and fix it up. She didn't even touch the sideburns, then she didn't put anysort of towel in his head to get rid of the hair, then she didn't even offer to put gel in it. Then my son and I both being frustrated about his haircut the lady didn't even get a clue we were unhappy. Third class salon in this area. Please avoid at all costs! One mistake is always pardonable, two are too sometimes. They missed 5-6 consecutive visits to note down my numbers. Finally I have to abandon this salon and go to Great Clips Derry NH. Every time I heard only one excuse "You would not have told the hair stylist to save your settings in the system!". How unprofessional and ridiculous. Whenever I was done with hair cut, I requested them to save my numbers for cutting because I cannot remember it. Every time they will tell that yes it is done and next time same mess up. And yes, hair cut used to be all messed up 80% of the time, even quality wise too. read more

Absolutely horrible. I would give zero stars if I could. Today I went in to get a haircut. I expressed to the woman cutting my hair that I wanted the sides buzzed and to keep all of the length in the top of my hair, asking her to trim only the very edges of the top. I asked if what I was looking for made sense and if she had any questions. She said it did. She then proceeded to hastily buzz the sides and chop off an inch from the top of my hair (when it was only 4 inches long to begin with). She did not listen to what I asked, and sloppily and quickly butchered my hair. She didn't spend time working on my haircut because I was what stood between her and either a break, or the end of her shift (because I saw her immediately walking to her car afterwards). While I have been using other Supercuts for many years now, I will never go back this one again. And probably will never use another Supercuts again. Instead, i will find an actual salon or barber shop to have my haircut. read more

Then they introduced Red and that was okay and the woman cutting my hair left. So I tried the Salem location and found Megan. She is the only person I have gone to in years. She talks to me. Bright. This place is not worth it. I have gone probably 4 times since August with no complaints. I went 2/1 weeks ago got a trim, eyebrow wax and purchased shampoo. Everything was fine until I got home and realized I had the wrong shampoo. So a few days later I stopped in to exchange for the right one. The manager sends the girl at the desk to go dig through about ten boxes that were delivered that day to see if they had the one I needed. After about 15-20 mins she came back saying they didn't have any. So the manager said the so and so brand is the same thing. So I said ok took the bottle Nd turned to leave when I heard "oh you have to pay the difference in price". Yeah no I said I will wait til you have what I paid for and left. After two weeks I realized that my cut wasn't as short as I wanted so I stopped in again and explained that to the same meek girl at the desk. She turns to the same manager as before to tell her I wanted just an inch taken off. No washing or drying. Just spray bottle and cut. The manager pipes up sorry you have 7 days to do that we would have to charge for the cut. I asked how much to which she said 17.99. I said thanks for the great customer service and left. I feel bad for the stylists that work there because I liked what they did but this manager is completely devoid of any customer skills and lost me as a customer read more

I desperately needed a haircut and this was the only place that could accommodate me on my day off.. the girl who did my hair (idk what her name was) was very nice and did a pretty good job.. my hair is somewhat easy to work with nd the cut I prefer is simple so I wasnt too worried. What killed the experience was when she pushed an eyebrow wax on me nd preceded to pass me off to someone else who clearly had no idea what she was doing. This place...don't waste your time unless you only need a quick haircut. I came here in late August and was told I couldn't be seen for a partial foil because it was 'back to school season' and they were too busy doing haircuts (even though I was MORE than willing to wait my turn). Then I came back in Oct and asked when my normal stylist was working, which I was told which day and i came in that day and she had quit :( so I had someone else do an all over color that I ended up hating. Asked for my natural color Brown with some lowlights of red, well, my hair came out almost fire engine red. Went in tonight and asked them to re-do my color (happy to pay the cost all over again for them to fix it) and I was told they only had 2 staff on so they were only doing cuts. How is that different than me showing up with 4 kids all wanting a haircut?! It would have taken the same amount of time to do a color for me. I am furious with this place and will NEVER go back. You can't make appointments and I DON'T have a lot of time off, so how am I supposed to plan when I can get it done?! This is NOT a full service salon if they pick and choose what services they provide and when!! RIDICULOUS!! I am so done with this location! Very very poor customer service.... read more

The only stylist they have at this location that know what she's doing is Megan, the rest are terrible. They had another girl named Tabitha who also did an amazing job but they were foolish enough to let her go somewhere else after playing games n favorites with her hours. I was waiting for about 15 to 20 minutes for a haircut. When the employee came inside the hair salon to get ready for a customer to get his haircut, she first took a customer, when I came before him. I was first. He came after me. She should have asked who is next, but instead she went to the computer screen to see who is the next customer and it was him, by saying his name, instead of my name. The customer who came after me should have said something to the hair cutter about myself being first, but he did not say anything. I was very annoyed. After this craziness happened, I walked out. I do not ever want to go back to that hair salon, anymore. Hopefully, my comment will advise people not to go there. What a very bad experience that I had.
