I arrived at 12 PM on time for my appointment and I was told that Gregg (my hair cutter) just went out to get a drink and will be back soon. I asked why did he leave when he knew I had an appointment now, got no answer. I ended up waiting 15 minutes unnecessarily I was then led to Greg's cutting chair. There was hair on the chair hair on the floor and on the counter opposite the chair. I had to ask him to clean it before I would sit down. He told me to sit down and then he began to spray the counter, and I had to turn my face so the spray would not go in my face. I told Greg that my hair was difficult to cut because it can' be straight, wavy, and curly and showed him how it was presently and it was to look like that when we finished. He said maybe he should just trim it then. I told him if you don't get it right my hair will be sticking out all over. I went there for a haircut, not a trim. He finished in less than 15 minutes. (usually takes considerably longer to cut it properly). When I checked, it was sticking out in 3 different places when he told me it was finished and I had obviously warned him. It should not be sticking out. He corrected that. When I got home, my wife said it was sticking out in the back and she had to cut my hair. Also, while I was sitting in a chair, I noticed 6 different blade heads on the counter, all six were covered with hair, I wonder if my hair was cut with dirty blades, especially if they ask me to sit and stand in hair. So I went in for a haircut the guy that I was assigned asked what I wanted I told him to trim in up . He proceeded to cut my hair the way he wanted as I part down the middle he cut my hair as if a combed to the side. Also he was in such a hurry I don't think I was on the chair more than 10 minutes. Bad experience. I requested a shampoo on line Tried to call because I couldn't find blow dry. No one answered. So I added a random service. Arrived 10 minutes early with after surgery black and blue eyes. They didn't have time to blow dry my short baby fine hair because I was supposed to select "DETANGLE???" For a blowout. They were not going to budge and had no sympathy for the fact that I can't get my eyes wet. I walked out. Then they had the 15 my minute shampoo time available I called Hair Cuttery. Supercuts here in Pompano by the neighborhood WalMart. This is a low cost hidden gym by my home. OMG. Greg is a colorist over there. He's a quick and professional. He will get you in and out as fast as you want. He also is an expert t on color. The other staff there, have been there probably 10 years or more. Hello Mitchell here I normally get my hair cut at another salon in Pompano. The person that has been cutting my hair for the last five years had a family issue. Just happened to be in the plaza where Super Cuts is located. I walked in and was greeted my a women name Eva. She was very friendly & immediately brought me to her station. Eva asked how I normally get my hair cut. She used clippers instead of scissors. I have to say she gave me the best haircut I ever had. It so happened Super Cuts had a special deal that day. In January, I went for a haircut at SuperCuts at 1147 S. Federal Hwy in Pompano Beach. I was assigned to Eva, who cut my hair for the 1st time. It was well done with good shape and the right length. After about 6 weeks, I went back for a 2nd cut by Eva, was impressed again and plan to return for many more haircuts. I was in a rush to get a haircut and this place is nearby and let me tell you they must have secretly known I was in a hurry or something. I might have been in there for 7 minutes at most. Downhill from the moment I arrived with not one hairdresser addressing people when they walked in. I signed in, picked first available and waited 45 min. When finally up, only after the one hairdresser next told the other someone was waiting, did she ask if I was waiting. Duh. Turns out, she wasn't experieneced with highlights or coloring and suggested I wait for the other hairdresser. Her appts were four deep. What a waste of time. The Salon had just newly opened so I stopped in to make an appointment and find out what they had to offer. Well, the only woman there looked at me like I was an interloper never asked what I needed and proceeded to ignore my arrival. No smiles, no "hello" I will be with you in a minute or so. I mentioned that I was a potential customer and she still gaped like a deer in headlights while she combing some ones hair. That is all I needed to witness to know that they have very little to offer in the way of politeness or business prowess, and not a scintilla of common curtesy. The first time I walked into this store for a haircut was a pleasurable experience. I had a blurred photo of the hairstyle I wanted and the gentleman stylist (forget his name) did a wonderful job on my hair. The second time just recently, I did another walk-in and again felt at home in the hands of Joanie, a professional hairstylist and color magician. She's a valuable employee in that she helped in choosing the right color for my complexion and I can say I am extremely satisfied with the results of the color. I want him to Supercuts and the guy asked me to pay a friend so I pay upfront like that he was going to give the money to the girl and put some products and evidently he didn't do this and I sat in a chair and she cut my hair way too short it's probably a short is my husbands no policies or anything she just cut it her way or should I really I'll never be back again never I should've not known to go to a high-end salon she just cut it shorter the pixie it it's awful I feel embarrassed the way it is I have beautiful long hair all I wanted was to be trimmed and she couldn't understand that but I have Frank on it for five dollars as a tip and she got me five dollars for another tip this is just stealing never I think I just want to trim them and I just want to trimmed in the back just to look neat I should've known better good luck to everybody hard time right now it's not for me because of the color room.
