Absolutely the worst customer service ever encountered.... Completely empty 1 client was just leaving and I ask only to have my undercut shaved every other time I've had this done it takes 5-10minutes tops. The guy tells me they are completely booked for the whole day. Shocked! I said, but the place is empty and no one behind me. He tells me you'll have to book 24 hours in advance. Just posted this on Google as well, not so much cause I'm pissed but cause I want to warn others, especially given the relatively high star average for this place. If you live in the area you know how hard it is to find a hair appointment for the concurrent year. it's like there's a shortage of hairstylists (there probably is). Since my 8year old needed a trim badly (especially the bangs) and this place advertises itself as welcoming to walk-ins and no appointment needed, I said "well, I know it's Super Cuts but she just needs a trim, how bad could it be". Famous last words. see for yourself. Note: my kid stayed in place, no moving, nothing. I just want to say this is not your average supercuts. Every member of this staff is outstanding. My go to person is Sam who I have known for years and is amazing at whatever cut I ask for. But even when I need that cut and she isnt available EVERY person here can make you look like a million bucks. I have had Luise and now Mariha do amazing looks. Without a doubt I love this place. If I could give zero stars I would. I walked in at 5:14pm today for my 5:20pm appointment and there were no other customers there. I told the man checking me in that I was here for a hair wash and cut and he rudely replied, no you only made an appointment for a haircut so no wash. Again, I was 6 minutes early and there were no other customers in the store. So I said when I called I asked for a cut and hair wash and again he rudely said no you didn't and in the future when you call you need to state it clearly what you want...now do you want the haircut or not?! I turned around and left and thought there's a reason it was empty in there...I would never go back. Supercuts is pretty convenient and close to my house. I started going here after I found out that my prior hairdresser had passed away. I can't speak for everyone that works there as far as their cutting abilities but I have been going to Jacque for several years now and love her! She just recently returned from an extended maternity leave (she can never leave again without asking my permission! lol). My daughter & I both see Jacque for cutting our hair and she is fabulous! She asks questions, gives suggestions and knows how to cut hair for so many different people from young to old and in between. Jacque is very popular and I can honestly say this because when I went in a few weeks ago it was on her first day back and there were 3 or 4 people after me waiting for her and another woman about 10 or so years older then me walked in, talked to Jacque and decided to return the following week as she knew it would be a wait for Jacque. Now, you can do as I do which is go online and schedule a time but this is not an appointment persay and doesn't guarantee that you'll be seen at that time as people do walk in before your scheduled time so you might have to wait a few moments. I think the longest I waited was 25 minutes passed the time that I had scheduled online but I was fine with that. If you can I'd suggest you ask for Jacque as she is the best! read more

I'm very upset. I called the McDowell location this morning for an appointment and I got a 2:40pm. Very excited I called my friend for a ride (TMI. I have a broken foot) and there we went. We arrived to SuperCuts at 2:30pm. There was only two hairdressers and I believe a customer. I stated my name and appointment time but Luis told me "you're wrong and your appointment is at 3:00pm instead of 2:40pm". I told him i was sure i was right and I asked him to consider my broken foot and take me in but Luis refused. even after I explained how hard it is for me to get around with a broken foot and he didn't budge. His response was "You could wait or make another appointment". RUDE! Your schedule book is a mess and there's no actual minutes written, only slots by the hour and messy names listed. Not that Luis cares but SuperCuts just lost a customer. read more

I just had a haircut at Supercuts because my usual stylist is on pregnancy leave. Well, Bambie told me not to visit my backup barber, 'cause she never liked the haircuts from THAT guy. And when I get home later tonight & Bambie inspects my new hair configuration, she will probably castigate me for going to this Supercuts. I got a $17 haircut. I look like I got a $17 haircut. It's not THAT bad... Worse things happened this day. ( I work in a hospital Emergency Room). I gave the Supercuts stylist a $3 tip for her 15 minutes of clip-clip-clip. Oooo boy. Got my first haircut this year yesterday 3-23-2021. My stylist was a young man. Very polite and professional. I have to admit the reason for this review is that I am very pleased with the cut. I love the Super Cutts in Petaluma CA. The stylist are friendly . I have had my hair cut and colored there. I have gone to high end salons and played more to have my hair a disaster. I have gotten just as good if not better cut and Color at Petulama shop. The hair dye stays in longer than the high end salon. I just went some were else Becouse I was in a hurry and it was just down the street. I was charged $38.00 for a hair cut that was a disaster.The girl had never layered hair before. I was trying to grow my hair out to layers. I went back and the shop owner Chopped all my hair off. I had told her I wanted to keep as much length as possible. I look like a boy now. Paying more for something does not always Mean it it going to be better. read more

A few months ago my hair stylist of six years or so moved away. I'd been looking for someone else, but, candidly, had not considered Supercuts. Recently I found myself in front of the Supercuts on McDowell and decided to give it a try. I was greeted by Samantha, the manager, who also cut my hair. I liked her immediately, and she gave me a great cut. She did exactly what I asked her to do, and she did it with great care. She finished me off with a hot towel, which is a really nice feature. The prices are crazy cheap, especially for the quality of the cut. I'm happy to have a great cut, and delighted to find a new stylist. read more

This was the worst experience. I was leery to go to Supercuts but since Marinello closed I needed to find a new place. I had a color touch up and cut. The color did not cover my gray I the back of neck and in many spotty places. I told the girl when she finished so quickly that I thought that was too fast. I told them I would not pay and I had no time to redo. And I had a blunt cut straight across and she didn't dry my hair because I would have had to pay $16 on top of $21. When I got home I noticed how uneven it was. I had better service and techniques at a beauty school. This is shameful - I do not recommend Supercuts at all! read more

This store has an amazingly upbeat staff that talk to you and don't make you feel uncomfortable by only talking to their coworkers. I've had to wait a while a couple times but now I call ahead of time and ask the wait and if I can throw my name down on the list. The reason for the 2 star drop is because of their prices. It's ridiculous to charge someone $21 to have their hair buzzed off. I spend typically 5-10 minutes in the store total. My husband and I both had appointments at the same time. There were two people working, one girl did my hair and then the same girl did my husbands hair after that. 20 minutes after the appt, time. When I asked why that was, she just said they were running late witch happens every time I go there, alway running late and this is always first thing in the morning, very poorly run shop. read more

This was a clear 5 star.. Overall... Haircut and customer service: Awesome (and really, what else is there for a Supercuts?)! Before anything else, Andrea cut my hair. She was great! She listened to what I was looking for. She took her time and checked with me before each step of the cut. I have a scar on my head that I prefer to have hidden, a task not every stylist is up to. Andrea made sure to take extra care and did a great job with this request. Next, if you don't have the app, get it. Only once have I walked in to see more than 2 people waiting, and I'm only kind of ashamed to say I got some satisfaction by getting called before anyone because I had checked in using the app before leaving the house. Bonus... when you sign up with your email, Supercuts sends you coupons. Another bit of awesome, they give you the hot towel treatment after your haircut. Yes, feels swell... but if you need to go on a lunch break or something like that, it takes care of a majority of that excess cut hair. Very pleased and will be going back! read more

I have a pretty easy head of hair to cut. 6 on top 4 on the sides. but somehow other Supercuts can't quite learn how to deal with cutting around my ears. They screw it up everytime. I found Jackie here in Petaluma and am totally loyal. She not only does a great job of cutting my hair but she's also a super nice person. read more

This place is all right. I go there about once every 6-8 weeks. Its a crap shoot some times, with my wait time. Some time 10 mins and other times 45 mins. I'd give it a 4 if I didn't have to wait so long. I think it is a bit pricey too at $18 per hair cut read more

This was my first time going here after months of hair neglect, needless to say my brown locks were a hot mess. I walked in and was helped right away by Heidi who then became my stylist for the afternoon and she was awesome! I have never done anything super drastic but wanted to try to add some color to my hair and after discussing it with Heidi, told her I would leave it up to her as to how to do it. I felt totally comfortable and in very capable hands and by then end walked out feeling fabulous! The girls there are all very nice, a lot of fun and really want to make sure that you are satisfied with your service. Plus, the price was great! Usually I walk out of Supercuts feeling like I got my money's worth. Today I left with what I consider a $60+ haircut. This is the first time I've had my hair cut by Luis, but it will not be the last! He did an amazing job--and very quickly as well. I could tell he was a professional right away by his confidence and polite manner as he worked his artistry on my hair. I know I've gotten a great haircut when I get home, look in the mirror, and wish my hair would stay exactly as it is at that moment. Today was one of those days. read more

What I notice about Petaluma SuperCuts is that the haircuts never last over a week which makes them a waste of my money; most staff seem lazy and indifferent. I usually avoid supercuts for mine and my daughters hair. But after we tried to "fix" her hair colours we ended up with like 4 different colours in her hair and some badly damaged hair. So we figured, why not just go get it cut and deal with the colour when we could get an appt at a salon. When we walked in Jazmine greeted us with a smile and looked st my daughters hair.....she said "let's give it a cut and a bleach wash (my daughter was tying to go from very dark/black hair to blonde-this our multi-coloured outcome lol) to try and tone down the "copper" and black tones. Not only did jazmine give my daughter a FABULOUS Cut but she did the bleach wash and got rid of the black and most of the red colours. She then did colour and highlights and my daughters hair looks BEAUTIFUL!!!!! my daughter and I walked in off the street, were seen with no wait, and given an expensive salon hairstyle for an extremely reasonable price, WAY lower than the $250 quoted by a local hairstylist. And the best part she smiled the entire time, was a great conversationalist, and very eager for my daughter to LOVE her new hair!!! Jazmine will now be our go to stylist for my daughter AND myself!!!
