I've been buying hair for over 10 years and never did I open a box ain't got that smell. I questioned her about it. She claimed that all Hair is treated anyways I used the extensions the few clips that I bought so I could not return them. I was in desperate need of new set so that's why I use them. It was very expensive for five individual clips. I feel like she took advantage. They were either samples that she had in her salon, but I did not get new hair extensions very disappointed I was excited I had found a new salon where I can order in the future, but I will no longer be ordering from her.

Even before I talk about the color I want to lift up that a) they use tech really well (I'm on Zoom calls from one end of the day to the other so picking up the phone and calling someone is super difficult for me most days). They responded to my inquiry through Yelp immediately, forwarded my request on to their stylists, and I had an appointment set up within a half hour max. Ended up with Stephanie and she was wonderful! While she was putting the color in I noticed she didn't apply any protective gel or vaseline ahead of time to protect my skin from the dye. I just figured, "Well, I'm not going to see anyone today, if I'm walking around with a dye headband, it's fine." Well, she didn't NEED to put anything on my skin to protect it because she's that good at what she does! The color came out great -- very natural and healthy looking, and really shiny. And not one drop of dye anywhere except for on the roots where it belonged. On top of all this, Stephanie was super nice, as was everyone who worked there. Loved the ambience, too -- the music was sort of 70s classic rock as was the decor. I'm hoping to be out in this area again in the coming year, and definitely plan to go back to them! I just had a very disappointing experience yesterday with Candice. went in and asked for layers and…read morecurtain bangs. I showed her pictures and tried my best to explain exactly what I wanted. I wanted layers with a clean, defined shape, not something too wispy or feathered. I have very fine, wavy hair and that just ends up looking frayed and stringy. She said she understood, but then she just picked up random pieces of hair and dragged the scissors along them. I've had a stylist do that before, and it resulted in exactly what I didn't want, but I tried to trust the process and let her finish the haircut. When she was done, it kind of seemed like she knew it wasn't what I wanted, and she told me that if I wanted it adjusted, I could just book a bang trim. I had somewhere to be afterward, so I really didn't have a chance to look closely at it before leaving the salon. It first glance, I thought I looked great. However, when I got home, I realized it wasn't what I wanted. I booked a bang trim for later that evening, and she seemed very annoyed when I walked in. It felt very tense and awkward. I again showed her my inspiration picture and tried to explain what I wanted. I had the haircut I wanted for many years, so I know it's achievable with my hair. I told her that my old stylist who gave me the layers that I loved never dragged the scissors like that, and I explained that I was really trying to achieve the type of layers I'd had in the past. I specifically said that if she didn't feel like what I wanted was achievable, I'd rather just leave it alone than have her cut more hair and make it look worse. She said she just needed to add more layers, but she did the exact same thing again, picking up random pieces of hair and sliding the scissors down them. She told me the it looked different than what I wanted is because my hair texture must have changed. It hasn't. I asked her to adjust my bangs and said I wanted them just above my chin, but she cut them to just below my eyebrows. I just FaceTimed with the stylist who used to cut my hair, and he explained that what she did is called slide cutting and that it's not how you achieve the type of layers I was asking for. He said any experienced stylist knows the difference, and there's no way she didn't understand that it wasn't what I wanted when I went back in. He thinks she just didn't want to take the time to do traditional scissor-cut layers. My hair looks horrible. It literally looks shredded when air-dried and very wispy, thin, and stringy when blown out. The layers are pretty short, and it's going to be years before they grow out. When I went back last night, I wish she would have just said she couldn't do it instead of doing more of what she knew I didn't want. It seems like Candice is a very skilled stylist who knows how to cut hair, so it really seems like she just didn't want to take the time to do what I was asking for.
