Just got a haircut here after 2years since my last visit (the person who I used to get haircuts with no longer works here) but let me tell you; CARMEN, GURRRLl not only did she do an OUTSTANDING JOB! she also walked me through the whole haircut (asked if the length was fine, where to start the layer, etc) & she has the BEST PERSONALITY! ... I had to stop and give a 5-er review for Michelle who did a fantastic job on my special needs daughter yesterday! I showed her an example of what I was looking for and my daughter loved it, I loved it! She was fast too, my daughter told me "Mom I don't have all the cut hair everywhere like before" (on her ears and neck) super happy after this trip!! AND she was very patient listening to my kid talk her ear off during the cut, thank you Michelle!! We went about 5:30 PM on Saturday which was a perfect time, no one was waiting and we were in and out of there in less than 30 minutes. read more

Horrible customer service. I called 20 minutes before they closed and asked them when there last walk-in was; since I was a 15 minute drive from the place. I was told as long as I arrive by 7pm I would be seen, but I would have to wait since there was two people in front of me. I drove 15 minutes and arrived right before 7pm. I was declined to be seen since they take there last walk in 15 minutes before closed. Seriously!?!? This was the whole reason why I called in the first place to make sure I didn't waste my time. I told the lady at the counter that the person one who answered the phone told me I would be seen as long as I arrived before 7pm. She didn't apologize or be accommodating. She just kept repeating her "15 minutes before 7pm" policy. If that's a policy, I would recommend you train your whole staff on it and not have potential customers waste their time driving. Wouldn't recommend with such poor customer service. read more

I went for just a trim and to retouch the layers and the haircut took under five minutes on completely dry hair and I was so confused when she said she was done. I did ask her to touch it up because it did not look like what we discussed and she did but still never wet my hair and did it very fast and honestly carelessly. I wanted to give her the benefit of the doubt since I am no hairdresser but it was extremely uneven when I went home to wash it and see the true length. Very choppy and it really felt like there was no real effort put in. Fantastic sams on Broadway is a good place if you're looking for a simple, inexpensive cut. Also I emphasized the fact that my hair was dry because I have wavy/curly hair that she just brushed out and was trying to match the sides (unfortunately very poorly). read more

This is place is truly amazing and worth the wait. Every time i go there is a friendly staff. Other times it gets pretty busy and you have to understand that as well. A very clean environment. I have been going to Graciela for a few years now. Every time i go, i get a great hair cut. She does an amazing job. I now take my girls and send my mother over to her. I will highly recommend her. I like this place. Any one of them could give me a haircut because I don't require a complicated style (layers with side swept bangs). Someone always greets the customers when they first come in. The girls are friendly and they will give you tips on how to keep your hair healthy. Not very pushy on their products as well, which is very nice. Overall, if you don't mind paying "only" $16 for a lady's cut, this could be the place for you. P.S. I'm not giving 5 stars because their sign-in sheet could be a little more professional. Don't walk in without an appointment unless you want to wait 2+ hours like I did. The ladies inside were very nice and welcoming, not sure if it was worth the huge wait though. MAKE AN APPOINTMENT. My cut cost $15, an average price worth the cut. The ladies know what they are doing and are knowledgeable about modern styles unlike other similarly priced shops. I wish they had the style books more readily available. I had to ask for them which made me look like a dork in front of the other customers. But eh, what the hell. I have to give it a four because I expected a better cut...I waited two hours for a 10 minute haircut. I've had more time put into more cut at other budget cuts priced at $8. Maybe my hair is just unruly and incompatible for the more modern cuts that they like to give. Overall, it's a nice, tidy place. Welcoming, cheap, and with great cuts for women for sure, not sure If i can say the same for men, at least not until I try it again! read more

Personnel seems unlikely to have taken a course in customer service. For them to think that you do not speak their native tongue and sit there listening bash customers is not acceptable. Let alone the fact that they DO NOT respect appointment times seems irrational. Luckily Graciselia did such a great job 4 months ago and today Priscilla showed me that the skill is spread throughout the stylist. A great hair cut on par with the ones I used to pay $40-50 for. Michelle is my go to when I'm here. The other stylists are great as well. I've had one incident with my hair do one time and they gladly fixed it, no questions asked. Sure there is a wait, sometimes a long wait, but I normally have an appointment so not so much of a problem. I recommend calling in to see if they accept appointments first before walking in or if walking in, come earlier in the day. Don't come in during the weekends unless you plan to be there right when they open. read more

Slightly irritating when you call 21 minutes before closing at 8pm, to make sure they won't close, get there in 5 minutes, and then they say they can't take you anyway. There are plenty of other places to get my haircut. read more

The safety and precautionary measures this salon has implemented for BOTH their customers and working staff shows they care.
