From the start, the process felt rushed and careless and Rylie had a nasty attitude. The extensions were installed with excessive tension, improper placement, and zero concern for the health of the natural hair. Within days, my daughter experienced intense scalp pain, breakage, and noticeable hair loss. Instead of enhancing her hair, this service destroyed it. She now has uneven patches, weakened strands, and damage that will take months--if not longer--to recover from. I made my first appointment a little over a month ago after reading hundreds of reviews for multiple spas/salons in the Milwaukee area and settled on a place close to home. The facial service is $79 for 60 minutes. It was the most relaxing 60 minutes of my life. My skin was glowing, smooth, and I felt extremely calm afterwards. I had my second appointment a month later and my skin has been going a little crazy from some stress I've been going through. Michelle did some extractions, which are usually painful, and they weren't painful at all. She recommend a high frequency treatment and explained throughly what the treatment would do for my skin and how it would feel. It didn't hurt but my facial muscles were a little twitchy afterwards. She also recommended some Acne relief pads to reduce breakouts. When you get a facial you get a bit of arm, shoulder, and head massage. The level of pressure applied was perfect. Two days later and my skin is looking so much better! Breakouts have stopped and the extraction site redness is gone. Needless to say I've booked my third appointment and will probably continue to make appointments to keep my skin in check. They got me in right on schedule, and did a super cute cut very quickly. The employee "checked us in" and told us to wait. TWENTY FIVE MINUTES later and there were still kids in front of us waiting for their hair to be cut. One of the employees spent over 10 minutes chit chatting with a friend, rather than doing her job. The employees also had their children there with them. They were running around, getting into things, and just a major distraction to the employees. At one point one of them even stopped in the middle of giving someone a haircut to feed her kids dinner. WTF?!?! Needless to say we walked out after waiting for over a half an hour. It was the most chaotic and frustrating experience I've ever had. We went across the street to Great Clips and had a great experience. I will never return to Cookie Cutters - nor will I ever recommend it to anyone.
