Oh my gosh! These girls are amazing! I brought my 1 1/2 year old in for his third haircut. He was having a good day when we went in but as soon as we put the cape on him, he got upset and didn't want to cooperate. The girls helped me entertain him while Naomi trimmed his hair. I am a long time customer of this Supercuts. I am an 83 year old man and walk with a cane. I am quite deaf when I remove my hearing aids for my hair cut. They treat me with the utmost respect. They take all the time in the world to be sure I am pleased. What I notice when I am there is that they treat everyone the same way they treat me. I went there for a mullet with a fade, the lady doesn't know what a fade is, so then I'm like screw it and just say how about a gentleman's cut, assuming she can do that well, and she proceeds to give me a straight up buzz cut and nothing on the sides, but she somehow messed up the lining on my sideburns as well, I am very disappointed and hope, someone who doesn't know what a fade is, can't do a mullet, or the sideburns evenly doesn't work as a barber. read more

Ok, so a little confusing when it comes to making appointments. . Called and not only did she say they do not take appointments, but sounded like she didn't know they used to. Must have recently changed to a wait list. Figured maybe a new employee. Anyway, they will put you on the wait list. Saw plenty of people there (4-6 at various points) but only two cutting hair. Considering I got there 20-30 minutes before my estimated wait time, the wait was not too bad. 10-15 minutes. I have been here about a half dozen times and always left with a good haircut. I got it cut for free at Glitz beauty school and it was so uneven.. like a whole chunk was an inch longer than the rest and my "layers" request was pretty much ignored. I went to Supercuts at 540 Walton Blvd in Las Cruces yesterday just to have 4" trimmed off my hair that went to almost the middle of my back. The "stylist" grabbed all my hair and her scissors and cut it off in one hunk. I went that is how you are cutting my hair? She said now she would even it out. Well it is not even and it is now chin length. She asked how much I wanted off my bangs and I said 1/4", I like to keep them long. Well I seen an inch fall on the front of the cape. Beware the Butcher of Supercuts who not only doesn't know how to cut hair, but has never seen a ruler in her life! read more

I have been going to Super Cuts for a couple years because I like the ease of service. But the last 2 haircuts by 2 different stylists were disasters. My hair on top was left rather long for short hair and then the sides and backs were nearly shaved to the scalp. They both called the hairstyle a "pixie". I don't think so. Took 3 people to cut my hair and they still didn't get it right. The first one didn't know how to use a machine, do a low taper, or blend so she asked her co worker who took my hair too high and gave me a fade doesn't finish blending it. The third person came to fix it because I was mad that she was arguing with me and trying to blame me about the messed up haircut she gave me. I was a little relieved the third person came and fixed it up even though it wasn't what I wanted it looked decent. They gave me a free haircut. Wouldn't go there again. They should know how to do cuts. More like crappy cuts. I'm out of state too for a funeral. read more

They are trying their best to accomodate as many customers as they can through same-day CALL AHEAD & ONLINE BOOKINGS ONLY, and always welcome new clientele. They are asking everyone to be courteous and patient by waiting in their vehicle and calling first to let them know you're here for your haircut. Never have we had a good experience, at any supercuts. My daughters scalp was burned during her shampoo at another Las Cruces location, on Rinconada (I don't remember the female's name). This time, my son's haircutter not once had a smile on her face, nor did she say a word to my son, and was done in 3 minutes. Very unsatisfactory. She was rude to me when I was trying to explain how I wanted his hair. Not once did she say ok, it was always, "no, this is where you want it" and "this is a quarter inch, what you said was wrong" and "theres no way he could've had a haircut 3 weeks ago." Her name was Nessa. I definitely would not recommend, nor would I have come here, but we were in a time crunch. read more

I've gone to supercuts a few times for the price, but never at this location. And I have never had a better experience, at supercuts or anywhere else. My hair was super dry and my stylist (Ally, recommend her if she's in) went above and beyond, suggesting affordable products and ways to prevent future dryness and giving me a clarifying/ moisturizing treatment in addition to my trim for still an affordable price. My hair feels amazing a week later. She was also very friendly and personable! read more
