I completed two trials prior to ensure what I was looking for would be replicated on my wedding day. On the morning of my wedding, I specifically asked the stylist to use the hair netting she had used during my first trial, and she assured me it wouldn't be a problem. After my hair was finished, I was then told the salon had run out of the netting, so she had changed the bun instead. My hair looked completely different from both trials, and it was already falling apart before I even left the salon. Makeup artist Elaina attempted to salvage it back together with Bobby pins which was greatly appreciated. It was frustrating the salon didn't have the necessary supplies for a bridal appointment and didn't communicate that until after my hair was complete. One smaller issue was the credit card processing fee. It was never disclosed to me until I noticed the full amount of my deposit wasn't going to be applied to my final balance. Had I known there would be a processing fee, I would have used a different payment method for such a large transaction. Lastly, I got a gel French tip pedicure prior to the wedding. The polish application was sloppy and began peeling off that same day. The salon offered to fix it the next day, but unfortunately the repair still didn't hold. I'm disappointed in the outcome after multiple appointments and significant expense. The services did not meet expectations and I hope this review helps other brides.

I was on vacation with about 15 other family members including my 5 month old preemie son who was having horrible issues with reflux and not sleeping through the night yet either. So yeah... mama needed a minute of relaxation on this not so relaxing vacay. I pulled up my trusty Yelp app and low and behold, there was a blow dry bar nearby. I was able to get a same day appointment and I enjoyed every minute of it. For someone who has had many blowouts at all different dry bars and salons, I have to say this experience was not the best of them all, but a great one nonetheless. The inside of this place is super cute and trendy. All the women working here were really nice and helpful too. I was late to my appointment (I did call to let them know though) so they told me they only had time to either just wash my hair and blow it out straight, or style it with dry shampoo. Totally fair, I was just happy they could get me in last minute, so I went with the wash and straight blow out. I really wish the wash would have been more involved. Usually at a dry bar theres a nice scalp massage included, or a hot towel or something special. It was pretty much your standard wash. The blowout itself looked great. I know it's not that hard to blow dry someone's hair out straight (or maybe it is?), but for the amount of hair I have I was impressed that they got it so sleek with just a round brush and all in like 45 minutes (including the wash)! Bombshell is definitely the best option in the area for a blowout or hairstyle -- highly recommend them!

I brought my 2.5 year old in a few weeks ago and it was a horrible experience for both of us. Maybe our stylist was having a bad day, but even if she was, she took it out on a 2.5 year old. We came in and she showed us the seat. She wanted him to sit alone but he asked if he could sit in my lap. This was the first thing that seemed to annoy her. From there, it just got worse. She made zero attempt to build any rapport or talk to him. She didn't consult me at all about what type of haircut we wanted. him. He was pretty squirmy and she just started to give him a buzz with clippers. I said, "woah, that's pretty short" (though the damage has already been done a few seconds in) and she said "there's no way I'm using scissors on this kid" If she would have said, "look I'm only going to use clippers" I would have respected that and tried to find a new place. He screamed much of the time and she didn't relent. No breaks, no "are you okay" nothing. I tried to calm him down and pacify him, but agin, he's 2.5 years old. Once kids that age are in a tough spot emotionally it takes a while to calm them down. By the end he was crying. He had hair in his mouth, in his eyes and she was the furthest thing from sympathetic. It was truly and awful experience. I will never return. Not as an adult and certainly not with kids. Maybe other staff is better with kids but all it takes is one bad experience. And this was terrible.
