Small salon with fair prices and amazing results!…read more I first found this salon on Groupon looking for a new stylist in the area and haven't looked back! The small salon has three chairs/stylists who have all have 25+ years experience!! No straight out of beauty school stylists here! They accept walk-ins but it's always been busy when I go so I'd definitely recommend an appointment. I have been seeing Diane regularly for cuts and color for almost a year and am never disappointed. She listens to what I want, gives her advise and has always delivered on what we decide on. I feel comfortable asking her to tweak the cut if it's not exactly what I envisioned and she takes the time to make sure I leave happy. When I first started going to Hair's 2 You I was the type who would get a hair cut every 5-6 months and usually kept my hair in a pony tail. So even though I wanted big changes (new color, new style...) I was scared! Over many visits Diane worked with me to make small changes I was comfortable with and as the trust grew so did my boldness! I love my hair every day! I also had an updo done for a wedding which came out great! While I have never used any of their other services they offer waxing and facials as well. They accept all major credit cards.

I would NOT recommend getting your hair dyed here. I had an appointment with Leah yesterday. I…read moreasked for deep subtle navy blue hair, which we discussed the appointment before. First, she suggested we highlight my hair and then go over it with blue. After 3 hours at the salon, my hair was a gross green color. My entire scalp was blue and the rest of my hair were all different colors (dark brown, bright blue and green) I politely told her that it didn't come out as I hoped it would. Leah insisted that she would come in another day this week to fix it for me. This was sweet of her but I didn't live locally so driving back down would be a hassle for me. When it was time to checkout, the hairdresser Leah was standing there as I was told my total came to $145. I felt uncomfortable because I didn't want to upset anyone but I was surprised they were making me pay this amount. I left a 30$ tip for Leah despite my disappointment. Half an hour later I called the salon to speak with a manager and was told Stephanie left for the day. I gave my name and the reason for my call (inquiring about a refund). I called back the next day and was told Stephanie (the owner) was with clients, but that she would return my call. I received a voicemail 20 minutes later from Stephanie. She stated that she was aware of what happened because she spoke with Leah. She said, "This sometimes happens with funky colors" and "We don't do refunds here at the salon. It's in our policies". How would I know that this is their policy? I was never made aware of this or signed anything. I'm angry and upset that I'm not getting at least a partial refund for the hair coloring service I received and was not happy with. Although they're saying I can come back to get it fixed, I'm afraid to will look worse and become even more damaged. Be warned and take this into consideration if your thinking about getting your hair colored here.

I'm moving my review here because my original review still hasn't received a response after a…read moremonth. My hair appointment felt extremely rushed. The result was not what I asked for, and I couldn't even get the blowout I originally wanted because there apparently wasn't enough time. Looking back, that honestly makes even less sense to me considering how rushed the entire service felt. Since then, I went to Beauty Union in New Bedford, and having experienced stylists there look at my hair and explain how damaged, unhealthy, and poorly/rushed it appeared was honestly even more disappointing. It made me realize how much I was willing to overlook after my original appointment. I'm not expecting every experience to be perfect, but I do expect the service I paid for to match what I asked for and for my concerns to at least be acknowledged. A month later, there's still been no response.
