I came in Wednesday and there was one stylist working and just finishing an appointment, so there would be a short wait. When the stylist was done with her client I confirmed the pricing I was given over the phone and was told the price was $20, and that all of the stylist charge $20, except that Steph may charge less. The cut was fine, but I wouldn't have come in for $20, and I should have been told over the phone that pricing would vary by who I saw. Disappointing because it is so close to my house and the other reviews were good.

This little salon in Flour Bluff is a hidden gem in Corpus Christi. Don't let the location or size of salon be the reason you pass on this salon. These folks will not disappoint you. They are friendly, welcoming and treat you like family. You will leave there looking and feeling like your best self. I came in for a color and cut with Marisa a week ago. I wanted to get rid of some leftover…read morebabylights and go back to my brown hair. She color matched me and showed me that I was between a brown and a deep, almost black brown. I told her I wanted to be safe and choose the brown color. She told me she was going to mix in a little bit of the darker color to match it better so I trusted her and agreed thinking it would be a dark brown like my roots. When all was said and done, I was left with black/blue hair. I am way too pale for this to be like my natural color. It's even darker than my work scrubs. I called the next day and asked for tips on how to remedy this. I was told "they did use a developer which was too dark" and to wash my hair everyday and as a last resort to try Dawn dish soap. I did it all to no avail. I gave them another chance and called back to see if there was a safe way for them to fix it and if not, I would like a refund. They came back with "Marisa said that's the color you both agreed upon, but we can give you a partial refund of half the price you paid". I paid a couple hundreds plus tip for a service I hate. I really wanted to just remedy the situation and give them a chance to fix it because Marisa's always done a good job and I truly liked this salon, but I won't be returning now. If my hair wasn't wet right now I'd post the proof but just picture Morticia Addams and there you go
