went in to location at 1519 texas ave. college station, texas and checked in and girl told me to wait while she cleaned up her area then after she cleaned up her area she just left without letting me know that she was leaving. this was rude and just bad customer service. read more

went in just a few minutes ago to get a "pixie cut" trim up... young lady Jinx checked me in, help a customer waiting, didn't clean up her mess & sat me in the chair... explained to her what I needed & showed her photos of my hair on my phone... Jinx starts trimming if you want to call it that... I explain to her it needs to be shorter, showing her my photos again... she stated the photos (4 different angles) didn't help her... she kept trying to part my hair deep to the right... asked her to please not do that, showed photo AGAIN, parted & rolled back center... when she was done, she asked if i wanted to use a mirror to check the back & I advised her yes... looked at the top & back of my head, compared to my photos, asking her if what she did looks anything like my photos... she stated no it didn't, but it was my fault cause I told her it needed to be shorter then what she was doing... asked her what i owed & she told me the full price... I asked her if she really expected me to pay the full amount for not cutting my hair the way the photo showed my hair having been cut... Jinx advised me yes... I paid it... NOT GOING BACK... several customers who were waiting, that observed this interaction left even before I did... what a shame... perhaps Jinx needs to go back to school & learn what good customer service is all about... read more

I've been to barbers and hairdressers for decades now, and for much of that time Supercuts has been a dependable but low quality option. I go there when my first choice isn't working out for some reason...maybe when neither my first nor second choices are working out. I've gotten many ok haircuts at Supercuts across the nation, I've gotten a couple of better-than-ok-but-not-great haircuts, and a couple of them have been poor-but-not-terrible. Most recently, I used a Supercuts in California just a couple of months ago and had a great experience. This is the worst haircut I can remember having in the past 20 years. The hairdresser asked for how I wanted my hair cut, I listed the same 4 things I say every time I get my hair cut, and then she proceeded to ignore or butcher all of them. She didn't get the hair off my ears, she cut my bangs short instead of right at my eyebrows, she didn't taper the back, and she only thinned out the left side so my head looks lopsided from the way the right side is thicker than the left. Additionally, the way she cut my bangs they don't flow with the rest of my hairline. It is a ridiculous looking haircut. I gave almost the same instructions to the other hairdresser for my son's haircut, and his came out looking just fine, so the quality here is highly varied. While I was there, a previous patron came in and demanded his haircut be fixed, which I thought was odd because how could a haircut be bad enough that one could take time to make a second trip to get it cut so soon after the first trip. Now I know, but I wouldn't trust them to fix it; I won't be back. read more

I don't cut my hair in any "fast hair cut service" .. I feel more comfortable if I go to a "real" hair salon to have mine cut or trimmed :) Usually I went to a fast service only for a little conditioning treatment or taking my 11 year-old daughter, who doesn't really care yet about her hair style. From all the fast hair cut services I've tried, imho Supercuts is there best one. So the 3 star review only given for cutting kids hair and conditioning treatment. I took 2 stars out, because their conditioning treatment went up from $10 to $15, which the price is now just the same with a real salon. read more

I use my finger to demonstrate a line along the back that i would like my hair line to reach. She says, you mean shorter? I say yes. She shortens the length by a full razor size. I make disappointed faces and repeat my gesture. She says oh you mean raise it? Apparently that's the proper vernacular. Don't cut before you communicate! Idk your jargon... She then goes on to ask me where i normally get my hair cut.... This stylist has cut my hair three times before. I've been coming here at least twice a month for the last year. Wth is up with that? Take my advice and DON'T GO HERE. My girlfriend's hairdresser insulted the quality of her hair, then proceeded to tell her that she would fix it. However, this was not the case. My girlfriend came out with a haircut she described as "screwed up". When customers come to your business, it is prudent not to insult them. I went here for the very first time with full bunch of hair. They had the men style books for hair cut. I chose the one from that for my haircut. The hair dresser she didn't even end up close to that hair style. She made it too short almost like a trim shave. It spoiled my entire look.
