When a place is categorized as a "Hair Salon", I expect to be able to get hair styled at this so called salon. Don't go to this place to request for simple braids to be styled in your hair. It took 4 ladies to tell me they do not style your hair here. Didn't get a good service for such a simple question. The problem is that the stylists move from one location to another so IRarely get the same person twice.

I went to this location because cuts are a couple bucks cheaper than FantasticSams and I am a broke ass motherf*****. I wish I could go back in time. I waited almost 2 hours for the WORST haircut of my life. She only took like 3 inches off, yet she still managed to butcher it. It's horrible. It can't even be fixed by a professional salon. I've been coming to this location for many years and have always had great experiences. I learned about this location from dropping my daughter off at dance 12 years ago. I have been coming here for many years and have been very happy with all of the stylist over the years. It has also been great to see Ashlee as a manager now; as I remember when she was training. I am really really particular when it comes to who cuts my hair and to be honest I don't have the easiest hair to cut. Kelly is the best I have ever encountered in my life. Seriously? I am not stepping foot into this place ever again. My husband got the simplest hair trim you could imagine, which included a clean up of his neck area. The girl did it completely uneven- I had to show her how to fix it and I have no clue how to cut hair. She acted annoyed which really pissed me off. She then cut my daughter's hair, which was another easy trim and clean up of her layers. She totally botched it and it is an uneven mess! Stay away. read more

I want to start off by saying that we've always had a pleasant experience at this location, yesterday was was a disappointment. This location has a post in the window of the store advertising that they will give a 15% discount off any service for military families, which I thought was a great way to give back to the people who serve their country! I took my daughter here to get her haircut before her first day of school, it was busy as anticipated. I made an appointment to come back so we wouldn't have to wait there, which was no problem for me. We came back and they took her back almost immediately, great! When it came time to ring her up for payment, the guy who cut her hair asked if she was 11 or 12, and I replied that she was 10 and going into 5th the following day. He gave me this look like I was lying and I proceeded to tell him that her father is almost 6ft. I tried to hand him my military ID, he refused to take it and proceeds to tell me that he already discounted her service by giving her the junior pricing. Absolutely ridiculous! That's full price for the service rendered! How dare he refuse to honor the military discount as advertised. I shouldn't have to bring a birth certificate to a haircut appointment in order to prove my daughter's age! I will NEVER return to the Camarillo Supercuts on Las Posas! I went in here to get my son a trim. I told the woman to just give him a trim- don't take a lot off- he is very specific about his hair and gave her a picture to reference. She didn't waist anytime. BUTCHERED my sons hair and additionally made it extremely uneven. I told her "you know I told you not to take a lot off- but now that you did can you make it even?!!?" *one side was completely short while the other side she did what I originally asked. *are you kidding me?* so she went to "even it out" reluctantly while giving me attitude - and cut it EVEN SHORTER THEN THE OTHER SIDE. My son literally started crying! She wouldn't stop! I had to scream at her "just stop JUST STOP!!" Multiple times before she gave me a dirty look and slammed down the shears!!!! Then she had the audacity to tell me "that'll be 35$" WHAT?!? I was so tempted to hold her head down and shave her head. I told her I am not paying for that. She then had the balls to ask why I felt I shouldn't pay!!! "You didn't do what I asked" "You BUTCHERED his hair" "Then continued to BUTCHER his hair as if you were Edward fucking scissor hands!!" She smiled and said she would not let me leave if I didn't pay. I was so baffled not only from poor performance- but additionally her attitude toward an unsatisfied customer knowingly that she was at fault. So what did I do? I put a dirty penny on the counter and told her that it was payment for "the sweeping job she was about to do on my sons butchered hair on the floor" and walked out. This is the best place to get affordable hair cut. Before, I was going to a high end salon and I realized that my hair wasnt that high maintenance and so I decided to go to supercuts for the hell of it. Everytime I go there I see Maria!!! She is awesome. I love the way she cuts my hair. I have never received so much compliments about my hair everytime I get a haircut from her. I always have her do a faux hawk on me and one of the best things i like about her is that she takes her time. She does not rush like many others hair stylists. When I walked in I asked if they know how to cut curly hair, the lady at the counter said "Yeah it's all the same" right away I knew I should have left. I then continued to get a cut, it ended up being way shorter than I wanted because the guy that claimed he knew how to cut curly hair did not know at all. I normally get my hair cut at supercuts because I know that they know how to cut hair..the girl that I normally requested was out on leave and i was in need of a trim before I left for my cruise the next day..the only reason I am writing this review is because this particular stylist CAROL the older lady with the poor attitude has cut my hair a couple of times the first time a little shorter than I liked but when i saw the pictures it actually looked good so I went to her again and the person in front of me left with wet hair and asked for the managers name I should have know the.. Worst experience ever! I walked in and the estimated wait was accurate but once I sat down in the chair the lady asked me how I wanted my hair and we proceeded. She put the cape on me and took out a comb to begin and the comb was very disgusting. It looked like it had never been cleaned before, I gave her the benefit of the doubt and figured maybe it was old. During the haircut I happened to notice the drawer would not stay shut and I got a glimpse of the inside and it was FULL OF HAIR! No other customers were in there on Saturday 6/28/14. The three workers that were there had attitudes and were miserable looking. No one wanted to help my husband. Finally the one that was littered with tattoos and piercings drew the short straw and very reluctantly helped (if you could call it that) him. He was (the operative word here "WAS") growing out the back of his hair, there were very nice curls back there and he asked her to just trim the ends. She ended up cutting everything off. Now he has to start over. She completely ignored his requests and did whatever she wanted which was to butcher his hair. read more

This is my second time going to this place since i just moved from Oregon, The little lady passed me by didn't even greet me and she gave me an evil eye. Another hairdresser smiled took my name even when she was in the middle of doing a haircut i forgot her name but she has nice art work tattoos on her with long hair. So the lady that gave me the evil eye ended up taking me and she was not pleasant she then told me she is the manager and i believe managers are suppose to set examples and clearly this is not the case i will try avoiding her next time i go back. First of all, the map location on Yelp doesn't match where they really are, which is doing you a favor to not get you there. I'm very disappointed. I've been going here for several months. I called ahead and they said there were three people ahead of me. No problem, I just wanted my name down ahead of time. When I got there I waited with one other guy. Long story short, I got bumped several times for some older gentlemen who walked in 20 minutes after me who seemed to be long time customers because the stylist knew who they were. On top of that, the new computer system nobody there knew how to work "went down" and they were on the phone trying to manually process the card for about 10 minutes. Also, it was a Saturday morning and there were only two stylists there. Really? There are like 10 chairs in that locations but now I understand why they weren't filled. By the time I walked out there were six guys just sitting there watching this circus. Been going here for a year now (normally go to the one on the other end of town by Target). I have NEVER been a fan of Supercut's practice of "we don't actual appointments but if you call shortly ahead of time we'll hold your place in line" b.s. policy. Today I walked into this location at 4 pm and asked the girl for a haircut. She told me there were 2 people ahead of me. I then watched 4 people all go ahead of me after waiting for 40+ min. When I brought this to their attention, the staff was not very helpful, telling me i would have to wait a little longer due to their mistake. One of the other barbers tried to argue that i was mistaken & did not understand their quasi-appointment/call ahead policy. I had to RE-EXPLAIN their muck up and the fact they wasted an hour of my time and asked him what he intended to do to rectify it. He claimed I was harassing him, gave me his mgr's # and said I could either wait my turn or leave. Never going back to this place again. Customer service is pathetic as is use of that call ahead policy. read more

stop! do not get your hair cut at supercuts, esp. the one in target shopping center! my sons hair turned out awful, i asked for classic kids cut, his hair looks choppy and is so short it looks buzzed! no buzzers were used, the hairdresser couldn't have been experienced and i don't know how they could even employ someone that bad at thier job! they are clearly using our heads for practice, which should be done at hairdressing school. this wasn't the first time this happened, but it will be the last, i will never go to supercuts again! very disappointed..... and my son has picture day this week, no way to fix hair, so short! don't waste your money at supercuts by target in camarillo! read more
