I visited on March 5, and saw Karen. I showed her a picture of exactly what I wanted (see below). She argued with me, claiming that my hair "pulls red" (it doesn't-I have well water that has a heavy concentration of iron. I have since installed a filter to avoid this issue moving forward). I asked for platinum, icy blonde. After about 5-10 minutes of "explaining" why it wasn't a good idea (despite the fact that I've had it done 100 times before), she finally relented and said ok. $200+ later, my actual result is posted below. Finally-the cut and style. It was ok. Technically, it was exactly what I asked for, but she took off much more than I had asked her to, and my layers are chunky and choppy, making my hair appear much thinner at the ends than it actually is. If the color had just been a mistake, I would totally understand. But, she argued with me, told me I didn't know what I was doing, and proceeded to do what she thought was best. For the amount of money that I paid, that is totally unacceptable. See the pics. My hair came out DARKER than when I walked in. I'm very, very disappointed.

Alyssa is a natural born healer and her gift exudes out of her with her calm and peaceful tone, her thorough questions of concern during consultation, and her most healing touch. She provided me a safe space where I could wind down and let my problems melt away while she carried out the customized facial for 90 minutes. Alyssa had a great amount of product knowledge and had no problem explaining to me what the product was designed for, and how every person should receive a different recipe depending on what the clients concerns with the skin could be. All free :) My mother and I won a spa package back on Mother's Day of last year through a radio station. Finally. . . we got around to using it. The prices listed in their brochure seem up to par (and something I will definitely be paying in the future as I will certainly be returning to indulge.) This being the first time I experienced any of these services (excluding the hair and makeup portions of the day) each staff member was quick to explain everything that would occur. Yum :) Two staff members in particular made our day special, Amy and Sofia. V and Ray did just that, and I know that with every inch it grows, is will get more and more lovely. Hair cuts run $40 and up, if you were wondering. Very competitive with other salons int he PVD area. In addition to being a fabulous hair salon, Tiffany's offers spa services such as massage, waxing, facials and nails.
