Finally tried this restaurant for dinner and unfortunately won't be back anytime soon…read more The chicken tortilla soup was too salty and had no real flavor except tomatoes. I also felt the addition of sliced avocado was out of place; no one wants to eat soup-flavored soggy avocado. My husband was sadly unimpressed with the chicken fajitas. The chicken definitely needed salt and the veggies were charred so much they tasted bitter. Ambience was great, though! Very festive and welcoming inside. Additionally, service was 10/10. Overall, for the prices we paid (higher than expected), we were not impressed and will likely visit other Mexican restaurants in the area before ever coming back.

The quesabirria, which I have never had was so exceptional I have not stopped thinking about it, the meat was extremely tender, plenty of cilantro and onion, and the dip sauce was OOTW! He was very conscientious of the fact that they were a little overwhelmed and honestly you can't blame the staff ... I will definitely be going back, and you should be going there soon!!!

Both were particularly fresh and flavorful. The ambiance was laid back, with nice tropical music (not too loud). Also, the decor and greenery were inviting. Of note, even the ladies room was nice and clean. A mark of a restaurant where they take pride in the overall experience. Also, Hector who's one of the owners, took time to stop by to check on us. He shared that this restaurant was a dream come true for he and his family who also support this almost 2-year old business. When I got home, I realized my bag only contained the 3 tacos -- no rice and beans that are supposed to come with the combo, and no sauces either. Had I ordered just the tacos alone, it would have only cost about $10. I called the restaurant to explain the mistake and simply asked to be refunded the difference between the combo price and what I actually received. I was not asking for a full refund. Instead of helping, they repeatedly told me I needed to contact DoorDash for a refund, even after I explained multiple times that I ordered directly from their website and picked the food up myself. The employee and her "manager" were clearly mocking the situation and refused to take responsibility. Eventually, she said something along the lines of, "We'll just refund you so I can be happy and you can be happy," but never once apologized for the mistake or the poor handling of the situation. It's disappointing because I genuinely liked their tacos, but the customer service completely ruined the experience.
