I asked the Peoria officer if my dogs could cool off in his car and was told that he didn't have AC. After a bit, the tow truck driver asked us into his cab. I was allowed to remain there until my wife arrived. Several days later, I called to arrange for pick up of personal items. All of the folks that took me into the yard were friendly and helpful.
