Purchased 9 items around 780 bucks. 680 store credit - 103 credit card. 1st issue, was sold two stocks - one priced at 35 and one 25 written on the plastic bag. When I got home I saw them both rang up at $45. On me I guess for not reading every digit of the receipt as they hand-typed it in. I assumed they would have honorable practices. My fault there. Was also sold a set of 45 degree mount pop up sights that I was told "glow" - turns out not at night. "They're fiber optic, they glow during the day" is what I was told on the phone when I called about these issues and spoke to Josh, the manager. "All sales final" is what I was reminded of. The young man working that day that brought the sights over to me in the corner of the store and told me they're nice pop up sights that glow, maybe didn't mean harm by it. So I got them on the premise they glow, and got home to test them at night to find out they don't. I was misled. Josh didn't care on the call. He offered to buy the sights back at 66% of what I paid for them, and since I live nearly 4 hours away I offered to mail them, accepting the 33% defeat to their shady business. He denied that and said it had to be in person. This would cost me more than that in gas round trip. He then hung up on the phone after saying "I'm never gonna make you happy" as if he was trying. I guess I was just hoping when I called, that they would be decent about it and give me an even swap for sights that actually glow or refund it. Turns out the only honor they have is to their "all sales final" slogan. Shop elsewhere. These guys don't care about you or your build. They want your money so eagerly they're willing to be shady to get it. Every online business I've ever worked with, dealt with a return or other issue with, has been far better to deal with than this shop. Ugly stuff here stay away.

This place is the real deal, filled to the brim with extremely high quality leather, skin, and fur goods for the lowest prices I've ever seen. It's advertised as Pat Garrett's Sheepskin Outlet on billboards, and is the exclusive vendor of Sickafus sheepskin/leather products. Initially I had no idea what to expect before walking in. But the shopkeeper greeted us with a warm welcome. She was very patient as we tried things on, and even helped my sibling and I find coats we liked. They found a light brown leather bomber jacket, and I picked out a gorgeous black lambskin leather parka with a removable fleece insert. Both of these were literally a FRACTION of the price they would be in New York or online. I was tempted also by their leather gloves, made of the same lambskin leather and lined with soft wool, and by their leather wallets. I don't know how, but this store seems immune to the inflation and price gouging that prevails everywhere else. They also have much more than apparel. On the outside, the store functions as a gas station, farm stand, and info booth. Inside they've got a coffee maker, homemade muffins, snacks, knives, music (predominantly by Pat Garrett) and other tchotchkes. Across the street is the Pat Garrett amphitheater, that hosted tons of country superstars (yes including Miss Taylor) in its heyday, as evidenced by the store's impressive wall of autographed photos! Also behind the store is a motel which looks very quaint, with lots of nice plants and a cat wandering around. And Pat himself can be found hanging out in the store; we saw him and said hello! I definitely urge you to give this place a try... whether you're in the market for sheepskin or leather, or if you just want to visit an eclectic and unique place that feels like it's from a different time.
