I paid Chris from Super scapes inc 407 782 5829 to fix my sprinkler system. He showed up with a metal stick poke around In the same spot and talked to his girlfriend for like 30 minutes with my shovel in his hand. He said it will cost about 500 dollars to fix my existing sprinkler system and that I should just install a new system. So he used the remaining amount of time I paid him to Up sell me a new installation. He left without fixing or testing any of my existing equipment and with a 1k down payment. He said he was going to send me a detailed invoice with all the work that was suppose to be done later that night. He never send it to me. He said he will come back the next day to start digging the front yard. He never came back.. He said he will do the installation Monday .. today is Tuesday and he hasn't done crap. However, he finally responded my texts saying he wasn't going to give me my money back. Threaten to put a "lean" on my house.. threatened me to call his lawyer.. threatened to call law enforcement if I posted a review on his business. I had to hire another company to fix my sprinkler system which they were able to do within 10 minutes.. I guess the backflow was turned off. According to his Facebook and online reviews he quotes you a price and immediately tries to up sell you. Someone in his review said they paid him to do an installation and then tried to charge him to fix it when it wasn't working. I'm glad I canceled when I did .. now I just have to get my money back So please be careful with this guy read more

If I could rate this a negative 2 I would. Chris from Super Scrapes Inc demonstrated immense unprofessionalism. Over a series of text messages there was a miscommunication about some of the service I wanted. Instead of professionalism on correcting the miscommunication he did the exact opposite. He even called me out because i'm a disabled veteran and a police officer for asking for discounts when I did so in a professional and courteous manner but he appears to lack any sort of professionalism or empathy. Instead he proceeded to send me a video of him filling up his gas tank as if I didn't know that gas prices were high. This is not professionalism. I do not recommend this company. We had Chris come out to give us our 3rd quote on a very large hedge that has not been trimmed for years. It's approximately 60' long x 10' tall x 8' wide. He gives me a $2000 quote which he broke down. He said it would be 1 dump load. I questioned this immediately and said it would be 2 loads. I did landscaping for about 1.5 years so I have a pretty good idea of what I'm talking about. He assured me it's going to be 1 load because he has a big trailer. This quote we received is $200 less than one company and $500 less than another. So we agreed for his company to come out and get started when they could. We have him half up front $1000 and he said he'd work with us for the second half of two $500 installments because money is tight for us at the moment. I was thrilled! Two days pass, his guy shows up to get started, we receive a text that it's going to be an extra $600 to get the job done because it will in fact be a 2 load job just like I said and he needs an extra guy. Now his $2600 bid is the highest we've received. We decide we want our money back so we can go with another company. He says there will be a 15% charge for invested expenses. But he will send the money back later today. We receive a $750 payment from Chris and we're thinking what the fuck!? So I ask him and he said it's 15% of the whole job! Now I'm furious! Because of this asshats incompetence and inability to quote a job I have to lose $250!? This guy is a crook and shady! Never call Super Scapes Inc! read more

Beware of Super Scapes!! Christopher Jones is the owner of super scapes Inc. at 407-782-5829. I hired Chris to install irrigation and landscaping in my front and backyard. He told me he needed 50% of the money upfront to start the job. I paid him $3000 to start the job. He began to do part of the job by removing some of the old sod. He then brought some pipes for the irrigation and laid them in the backyard and said he was installing them soon. He asked me for the other $3000 because he said he needed to purchase the sod he was going to install. Needless to say that after I paid him the remaining $3000 Chris wouldn't come back to finish the job. He kept giving me excuses and personal stories as to why he couldn't finish the job. After 3 months of him not showing up, I got tired of all of his excuses and asked for my refund. He told me he would refund me when " the money was ready". I still haven't received my refund from him. He is dishonest and unreliable in many ways. He has left open ditches and exposed pipes in my front and backyard and patches of old sod on my yard that he didn't completely removed. Perhaps because he had no intentions on finishing the job. He has taken my $6,000 and left my yard a complete disaster. Please read reviews first and do background check so you don't fall in the same trap as I did. Bought a house and wanted quite a few trees taken out and some trimmed....looked on the Internet and found super scapes and Chris.....I was very nervous at first as the trees were very big and close to the house....but after the first one came down I felt much better.....Chris does it all not only did all the trees come down without a problem but all the stumps were ground out......you wouldn't know they were ever there...I recommend Chis highly very knowledgeable and honest....plan on using super scapes when we decide what we want to do with the front yard. read more

I'm about 5 months delinquent on writing this review... but that should speak to how impressed I was with Chris. 5 months later I'm still thinking of the fact that he did such a great job on diagnosing and fixing my sprinkler system even though I have since moved to Texas! In a nut shell, I have an older system (which was not installed professionally) sometime before I bought it. I bought the house 5 years ago and resorted to manually watering as needed because the system was shot. Fast forward to June of this year and I was in a predicament. We were moving to Texas and the summer was already brutal, I needed a relatively inexpensive fix and a new computer to water the yard and keep it from turning brown in my absence - very important since the house is on the market and needed a green lawn for curb appeal! Chris came out the day after I called him. He got the system on and carefully pointed out to me all of the places where the system leaking and would need repair. I had three people come out to give me quotes but Chris way by far the most thorough in his analysis and most fair in his pricing. I requested a quote from this company and was given a quote of $500 to remove 2 uprooted bushes that was affected by the hurricane. I told him that I will contact him if I decided to let him remove the trees. A few days later I received a message from this company asking if I wanted to go ahead and have the trees removed. I told him that I thought that his quote was pricey and that I did not, he proceeded to tell me that he could work with me on the price. Of course I'm a straight shooter so I asked how much could he discount? He proceeded to tel me $1.. lol I asked him not to contact me again. He went back and forth with me about how I was taking food out his children's mouth by writing a negative comment about his business and he had not done any work for me.. my point is that he never got to do any work for me because I am all about customer service and if you are rude to me I will not hire you, and I will tell everyone how rude you are. So if you do business with this company just beware that if you have any issues with the work, you will be dealing with someone that is unreasonable and very rude. read more

We recently moved to Winter Garden. I contacted Chris about doing a small paved patio installation for us based on his great Yelp reviews. I talked to him late in the week, and he said he would be happy to come out to give us an estimate (that he was a 24-7 business), so we made an appt for a mutually agreeable time a few days later. He texted me the morning of the appt, and said he couldn't find our home on the map. I explained to him again that we were new construction, which is why we weren't yet on any maps, but we gave him the location of a nearby Walgreens that was mappable, and my husband sent directions from there. He then called me at the time he was supposed to be here to say the directions my husband provided didn't work for him. My husband offered to meet him at the Walgreens, which is less than a mile from us, at which point Chris informed me that he wasn't on his way, and that we should find someone near us for the job. I'd have been OK with him turning down our request for an estimate had he alerted me to his situation prior to our scheduled appt or if he referred us to someone closer that he knew would do an equally good job, but I thought the way he handled the situation was pretty lame. Chris may do great work if you are closer to his physical location, but Winter Garden residents, be aware and find another vendor. read more

Extremely Disappointed! I decided to try a small business and it was definitely my mistake. I had called about a price to change it a sprinkler valve. Chris was supposed to arrive at 9am after we rescheduled front the day prior. At 9:30 I texted to find out where he was. He was waiting for a store to open to buy the part that he needs. I already told him I had to work at 11 which is why we scheduled 9am. After he arrived At 10am. He was unsure what the problem was. We discussed a couple of things but he wanted to try and replace the one valve to see if that worked. Of course he didn't have a valve even though that's apparently why he showed up late. He then left for another 25 minutes to go get a valve. When he returned he just replaced the 2 insides of the valve and the solenoid which took 2 minutes. Of course this was not the fix. I was now an hour late for work and he started to say that it was the other valve. At this point I told him it had to wait as the other valve had to be found. The cost was $200 which was the quote but he didn't even change the valve. He just replaced the 1 inside part and that was it. He stated that he was here an hour and half but he wasn't as he left again mid way to go get the part. He literally did 10 minutes worth of work. What a scam! He stated he has been doing this for 20 years and while that might be true I am shocked that people continue to use him. I tried him based off reviews as they were good. Sorry I did.
