Be careful! Negative reviews help businesses impetus their service. I believe IMHO this one is beyond saving.

Initially, although, we noted the poor review of auto max on yelp we felt it fair to evaluate for…read moreourself and not judge the book by its cover. The sales rep from auto max seemed very nice and accommodating. He let us test drive the vehicle with him the first time. We were really interested in the car and so we asked to take it for another test drive on the highway some other day and he said that this would be fine. We inquired also if we could take it to an independent mechanic to have it looked over and he said that would fine as long as it was within 5km from auto max or the mechanic could go to the dealership. So thus far we felt good. We than took it for a drive and it drove fine and we were happy about the car and we were seriously thinking of making an offer that day. However, our concern was something fell on the car in 2015 and was fixed by ICBC by the previous owner. We understood the damage was to the top of car. Later we were told it was somewhere on the hood. However, thinking that the damage was to the top including the sun roof we thought there may perhaps be leaks. Therefore, we sprayed water on it and found it was dripping. Thus when we returned to the dealership and brought the issue up the sales rep appeared defensive. He said "There is no way there is a leak as it would show a stain on the roof" In actually, there was a couple spots; however, he wouldn't hear us out and said the sun roof must not of been closed when we tested it. We than asked him if he could test himself. The sales rep appeared to be more defensive and said quote "how much do you want to bet $100?" We felt that was very un-business like. We than said we don't bet and were there to buy a car. Than he and my brother-law went outside to the lot to do the water test, which resulted in just the same way. My brother-laws fingers were wet after only a few seconds. The sales rep said and quote "its just condensation. Do you know what condensation is?" My brother-law replied "of course I know the difference between condensation and a leak." Both me and my wife remained at all times calm while we felt the sales rep was dismissive, rude, and pushy. Its too bad we loved the car. When you read the bad reviews on here they may be true 'buyer beware'.

Concern Regarding Extended Warrant Refund In 2018, we…read morepurchased an Acura RDX from Lougheed Acura trusting in their strong reputation. At the time of purchase, we were encouraged to buy an extended warranty. Since the car was brand new, we believed it was a prudent decision and trusted that Acura would guide us in the right direction. We purchased the extended warranty for $2,800, understanding that $800 would be the actual cost and that if we did not use the coverage, we would receive a $2,000 refund after six years. The company you HIGHLY recommended held our money for six years without any interest payments. Unfortunately, because we did not submit a refund request within four months of the warranty's expiration, (we submitted at 5 1/2 months unaware of time frame)we were informed that we are no longer eligible to receive our reimbursement. We are extremely disappointed by this policy, which feels misleading and unfair. Yes, we didn't read the 6 page contract in mini font with the last few few lines saying we needed to apply for a refund within time frame. we trusted our sales re to be providing fair service. It is disheartening that a company we trusted would support an insurance provider that does not prioritize best practices. We have been loyal customers, however this experience has made us feel that your company does not truly stand behind its customers. We urge you to reconsider recommending this insurance provider in the future to prevent other customers from experiencing similar frustrations.

I was offered to test drive the Mazda 3. I came in during the Covid time and to make things difficult I didn't really know the area very well and I asked if my sales guy can go with me. He went and asked his manager if that was possible and all was good. Yes he had a mask on. My sales rep was Eric Maura. He was very knowledgeable about all Mazda cars. He himself owns a Mazda as well. He explained everything very well. I was super excited and at the end of the day I ended up purchasing the Mazda 3 GT AWD. I was super happy. I also got 0% financing. It was a super awesome deal. In the finance department, I was dealing with Navin Mahal and again, everything was explained very well to me. I picked up the car two days later. I had Eric arrange for an insurance broker to come in to do the paperwork. I mentioned to Eric the license plate that I wanted. He had that arranged as well. When I picked up my car, he explained everything very clearly to me again and reminded me all of the specs. I walked out super happy and was very pleased. Also note that they have very good green tea in the car maintenance area.

Misleading, unprofessional, and damaging - do NOT go here…read more I visited Westminster Toyota on Jan 15 for a Toyota Corolla Hybrid SE AWD. From the start, I was misled and stalled: Staff confirmed availability but never followed up. After a test drive and submitting all documents, my employment verification "failed", despite my HR confirming everything was correct. Repeated follow-ups led to conflicting updates, unavailable staff, and unnecessary pressure to buy a different car I didn't want. Finance managers were sarcastic and unprofessional, pushing me toward alternatives instead of respecting my choice. After 9 days of back-and-forth, I was finally told my loan was rejected by all banks, and their mishandling negatively affected my credit score. The dealership misled me on pricing and availability of the car, posting it online at a higher price immediately after I inquired. This was supposed to be my first car purchase, but their actions caused stress, confusion, and financial damage. I will be filing a consumer complaint. I cannot recommend Westminster Toyota - there is no transparency, honesty, or professionalism.

Everyone that I've talked to from your service department to Toyota Canada has been an absolute joke saying "sorry nothing we can do" And the salesman bob I bought it off has totally ghosted me with no replies but it says message read. That's real customer service. I am writing on every forum possible about your guys customer service and reading your google reviews I understand why people are so upset. I will be coming to the dealership thank you.

When I arrived, it was in the middle of the lot with no way of driving it out for a test drive. They were all middle eastern men who spoke their language in front of me. Which, by the way, is bloody rude and pissed me off. Then he gave me the keys to start it up and he did not even come with me. There was a block heater plug in the front and when I asked later, he had to tell me that is was from Alberta. I checked out the car and wanted to take it for a test drive. He told me, call 45 minutes before you come next time and we will move it. When I asked him what his best price was, he told me, we don't negotiate because we have the lowest and best prices. WTF! I am a woman in her 50's and if I was back in my 20's, he would have been all over me. I would tell anyone to stay away from these guys. They are NOT honest. Take a guy with you if your a woman. They clearly think woman are not worth dealing with. Stupid because we buy most of the cars.
