I had to call the manufacture to get them to honor their warranty. My roof started to fail within six months after installation.

Then Dunn roofing told me yes I can do it for $250, he said he was giving me a great deal. He happened to have the extra material needed for my roof, someone recently gifted it to him. So what did this kind soul do? He paid it forward and gave me a price of $250, All the other roofers wanted $500 and were not going to do half the extensive repair that he was going to do. I have to be honest. I cried when he left my house. I have been hammered with car repairs, and many other expenses in the last 3 mths. I felt so depressed. But Dunn came in like a winged angel and saved the day. After he was done, he held the ladder and insisted I look at his finished work. This guy is a class act. I highly recommend him. This is a company you can trust.

The gentleman did not seem in the best of moods and after going halfway up the ladder and looking at my roof, he complained that the roof was too steep for him, and he was not going to do the job... Apparently he had injured himself on a previous work site. He verbally quoted me what it would cost to repair, put his ladder in the truck and left. If I were to say they were here for a total of five minutes that would be generous. This was the first roofer I've ever met who didn't want to go on the roof of a one story home. Oh well, this was my experience with Dunn Roofing. If you use them, I hope your experience is better.

I was continually updated. I had significant rotted wood and had hurricane clips installed. The cost was reasonable. More importantly, the workers were professional and respectful of my property. They left my property clean and free of debris. This company clearly understands how important customer service is to their customers. It was top notch from the initial contact to completion. I highly recommend Old Time Roofing for all of your roofing needs.

As an average unexperienced homeowner, I wasn't aware the building standard for using "hurricane straps" was changed from using two nails per metal strap to using three in the state of Florida in 2003 (20 years prior to my roof's installation). With the use of nail guns these days, it's literally an extra tap of the finger for each strap to comply with this industry standard which can save a homeowner up to $1000 a year or more on homeowners insurance. I just had a wind mitigation compliance inspection and they explained this to me. I'm not sure why Olde Time Roofing doesn't bother to comply with a building code minimum standard that's now 23 years old. I would have gladly negotiated an extra couple hundred dollars for them to do this at the time...(a hundred straps would have taken approximately 100 extra taps in 100 extra seconds to add a third nail per strap) a fair trade off for $200 extra bucks in less than two minutes. This company does a fine job with the parts you can see...the parts underneath are the measure of an honest company versus a dishonest company. They didn't even discuss the option to me. And honestly, since when does a standard building code become an option? I'll tell you when...when the customer doesn't see it or even know what it means. Shame on Olde Time Roofing for doing less than the minimum because they can get away with it. THAT'S WHY I GIVE 1 STAR!!
