No frills (They didn't even put lotion or cuticle oil my hands when finished) but I was just there for a refill on my lunch break. Super fast, I was in and out in like 20 minutes. Not a wide selection of color choices. I paid $38 for a refill, nail repair and shellac, which I thought was kind of expensive compared to what I've paid In Houston. Stylist did a very good polish job. I've had problems with Black elsewhere before (like where they missed the sides, etc) but here she did great. The nail tech went through the motions, but did not pay attention to detail and seemed more interested in finishing my nails than doing them correctly. By the end there was still acrylic where there shouldn't have been on my nails, as when it was applied, she didn't try to wipe the extra off the sides of my nail, to better shape it, so they look relatively flat, instead of nail shaped. i went to this establishment with one of my friends who strongly felt that this was the best nail salon in brenham. me being the trusting person i am believed her when i knew better. (i personally think that the guy with the tattoos at top nails is the best in brenham). Anyway, i told them i wanted a full set and my nail tech didnt even soak my hands to soften my cuticles or even give me a manicure. he simply began grinding down my nails without even fixing my nail beds. I asked for a rounded edge and i was very clear about what i wanted but did i get that? no i didnt. i got a butchered set of acrylics that cost 35$. This place is okay! If you really want your nails done and are in the area I would still go, and I will probably go a few more times. But... it's not great. Depending on which person you get, you may walk out with sloppy edges or uneven nails. But it's a small town and pretty much all the salons here are hit or miss and so will be your visits to this one. I've gone here 5 ish times recently and half the time I was pleased and half I wasn't. Atmosphere is good! Chairs are comfortable. It is worth a visit. If you are expecting high quality, reliable, big city nail artists you will be disappointed. But this is a honest small town business that deserves a try. read more

Worst and fastest pedicure in my life. Its pretty bad if im yelping during a pedicure. I had a young guy so that was not necessarily a good sign but I hoped for the best. It was to be expected. The water was a couple of degrees above room temperature and my feet were in there all of 3 minutes. I got 7 swipes with a. pedi stone on each Foot, clip nails, and brush the toes. Then I hear the water draining. Granted this was the regular pedicure but they are still much better everywhere else. I chose this pedicure off of a menu with no prices so I cant wait to see how much they feel this was worth. Oh it was $20 read more

Okay, I asked around at work for where the best nail salon may be, as I'm on a tight schedule for my engagement photos, and they listed this place as one of the two places they'd recommend, so I decided to give it one more shot. I needed them refilled - the lady who helped me today seemed to be more attentive to detail. Even ran the tool under the nail to ensure there was no build up or anything underneath, which I don't believe was done last time. I suppose I'll give them another shot, the next time I need a full set, and see how the experience compares to the last. read more

I had heard nothing but good things about this nail shop from co-workers but after going here, I would give this place 0 stars but Google would not let me! My fiancé's mother and I went for manicures and pedicures the other day to try this nail shop before the wedding! Needless to say...I will not be using them! They only time we were spoken to was when we were told to pick colors. The nail tech who did my nails stopped after putting 1 coat on 3 of my nails and made another tech finish then while she just awkwardly stood there. The mani...well let's just say my nails and cuticles looked better before I walked in! The polish did not last even a day...and we picked OPI because we've both had great luck with the brand before. A 3 year old could have painted my nails better. The pedicure was mediocre, already lost polish on three nails. For $75 a person, a total of $150 for their service...a reasonable person would think they would take a little more pride in the work or quality in which they send their customers out of the door with. Moved here in May and I have been a loyal customer for about year and get manicures and pedicures every two to three weeks. After having a new full set of powder nails done on a Monday I was back in there Wednesday with a broke nail. I didn't just break it off the complete nail tip popped off. I could have easily super glued it back on but didn't want to risk an infection. I was charged an addition $4 for what I considered to be a mistake done by the technician when originally applied. I spoke to Nancy the owner and she completely shrugged me off and wouldn't even make eye contact with me. If I could give this place zero stars, I would. They are AWFUL. I took my daughter to have a mommy daughter date getting our nails done. She is three so she was just getting a basic paint job. They did horribly. So bad that I re-did them in the salon while getting the worst pedicure I have EVER had in my life. The person doing my toes couldn't understand ANYTHING I was saying and completely destroyed the design. I was supposed to get my fingers done but was so discouraged from this experience that I just wanted to go. THEN almost to the verge of tears, I say I just want to pay and leave. Awful! I sat and watched in horror as a young boy sat down to remove my friends acrylic nails. He was clearly not old enough to be a licensed cosmetologist. I was very confused on why he was sent to serve customers when the salon was a ghost town and all the other employees sat in chairs at the back talking. He proceeded to remove her nails with another acrylic nail which resulted in her nails being completely ruined she was cut and even ripped the nail to expose the skin under, leaving her with nubs. He did this without a face mask not following simple steps for health and safety. When I asked him if that was how acrylic nails were always removed he clearly ignored me or just couldn't understand. They then had enough nerve to charge $6 I could've ripped her nails off at home for free. This establishment should be shut down if there was a number I could call I would. Terrible. I'm from out of town and came here to get my eyebrows waxed. It literally took the girl less than two minutes. She had pre-shaped wax strips which messed up my eyebrow shape and left stray hairs everywhere so I'll have to go back and pluck them. Didn't notice until I got in the car but I still had wax on my face. If I wasn't in such a rush, I would've gone back and raised hell. read more

Worst place ever. Went on Saturday 5/13/2017 for Dip Powder. Big Huge Mistake. They absolutely do not know what they are doing. Dip Powder is supposed to be natural with 3 thin dips in the powder, smoothed out and then a super shiny top coat. Well, the chic doing them was reading from a paper how to do it, my nails have no less than 10 thick coats of powder. They look like lumpy turds and when they were filing my nails with the orange soft filing block, they filed the skin right off of my finger and did not even care that I left bleeding. I have scabs on most of my fingers right now and they hurt. We are now on Wednesday and the crap is already coming off my nails and I paid $50 for this crap job. I will NEVER go back to this place. Two techs and neither one of them knew what they were doing. I will drive two hours to Houston to my normal Salon, at least they know how to do it and I only pay $30..$50 bucks is for Quality work, not the work of a two year old. You should be ashamed to call yourself a quality Salon. read more

So I'm originally from here and my mom and I would always go to super nails and tan. Sometimes it wouldn't be the greatest but the made up for it in customer service. Not today. I came home and my mom and I were spending some time together. And instead of getting nails done in Houston(where I now live) I thought why not go with my mom? So I usually get dip at a location in cypress. But today I got shellac because the dip price at Super Nails and Tan is $10 more than where I go. Well shellac is $30 at Super nails and tan. So the sign says and so says Ann. Well guess what. I was charged $45 and the guy didn't even clean them up. He wasn't even going to put a third layer on and you could see where the polish was heavy and where it was light. So he ended up doing a third coat but it was really just an awful experience. We went back in and tried to say something and they said they "only" over charged me $5.00. Wait, what?! I straight up asked and they said $30. So then they tried to argue that it was $10 to soak my nails from the dip I had on. (Which they've never done before). Then they said they couldn't refund it. Wait, what? This is what customer service looks like to y'all? I work retail and I'm not the customer that only gives bad reviews. I like to give good reviews when it's deserved. But we were treated horribly. Last week I got a pedicure and refill here. The woman doing the pedicure was very sweet and did a really great job on my pedicure but before we started she showed me a pamphlet showing the options for the pedicure. All three options for the same price and as I saw it in the right top corner it said $25 but once I went to pay, the price was $45! The price she showed me was for a manicure. Why would you show me the price for a manicure when I asked for a pedicure? Another lady set next to me to give me my refill as I got my pedicure. I've been getting my nails done for at least 16 years now so I think I know when my nails have been filled. I asked her to push my cuticles back before she filled them and I guess that was out of line because she half ass did it with a pair of Tweezers and attitude! She filed down the gel polish I had on my nails and that was it! She reshaped them which was nice but she never filled them she just filed them down then added the gel polish on top. When I asked her why are you polishing my nails you haven't filled them yet she insisted she did and kept saying they're smooth. I told her you never filled them, all you did was file them and grind them down but she kept insisting she did. She didn't even buff them out! Thankfully so because the block she was about to use to buff was worn out and probably reused for months. $90 later!!! Won't be going here again! read more

Wish we'd read the reviews before going here. My teenage daughter, son, and I were in town for the day and had some time to kill so decided to get pedicures. The water was barely room temperature. The woman who did my nails at least spoke English - the other two did not speak to us at all, even when my kids tried to talk to them. The woman who did my son's gouged his toe and hurt him. It did not bleed but was very red. Several of our nails were cut crooked. I made my tech fix mine, but my kids were too embarrassed to say anything. I've never had such a bad pedicure. Everywhere I go, even on a basic pedicure, they buff your feet. The tech got the buffer out and literally swiped it across each foot three times. That was it! And I barely felt it! No base coat for the nail polish, either. The tech who did my pedicure talked my daughter into getting a design and told me it was only $5. She neglicted to add "for each toe." Every other salon we've been to charges $5 total, not per toe. She had talked me into getting a design too, but after I saw what a pitiful job she was doing, I told her I'd changed my mind. And they don't have UV lights to dry your nails - just fans, so it takes forever. They weren't busy, so they could have taken their time, but we were in and out of there in well under an hour, and that was with sitting under the fans for quite a while. read more
