By the time you are reading this, you will already have made your mind up or have narrowed it down to maybe one other events company that you are considering using for your big day.... Well allow me to help..... Stop, .....here and now....! Your big day is going to be stressful and there is an unbelievable amount to do... its easy getting 80% of the way there, the last 20% is a nightmare.... That's the 20% that you as the bride and groom need to focus on, leave the rest to the professionals. Sarah and I had decided to have separate companies covering marquee, caterer, loos etc., but by chance we heard about Superevent, so came to see them....after 20 minutes with Tony and Chrystelle, we decided to give them the whole event as they put us at such ease that it was the easiest decision of the whole wedding. Added to which, the tasting event that they put on is for you to sample the many different food courses and see what the marquee will look like, is absolutely fantastic and should not be missed. When they say the food that you taste there is what you are going to get.... That is the truth, our food was not only amazing, it looked, was presented and tasted fabulous, it was hot and there was plenty of it. Everyone we spoke to stated that it was the best outside catering they had experienced. Our chef, Richard and Steve as the event controller, were both the essence of professional, every whim catered for and ever special dietary need accommodated, as well as both having a wonderful sense of humour. There was nothing more they could have done to make their part of the event go any better. Bullet points from me to you. 1. Use SuperEvent for your wedding.....Chrystelle is the epitome of event organisation, you will see this as soon as you start dealing with her, she knows what you want before you do, and handles Tony incredibly well. ( He is a bit nuts...) 2. Listen to Tony's recommendations, he has done it before.... Every recommendation he gave that we took, worked out for the best. 3. Beware the mini burgers as a canapé, the red relish squirts out....! 4. In the middle of the event....... Stop and both of you wander out to a corner of the marquee and have a look at all the friends and family that you have there for you.... It's a fantastic scene. I cannot stress how professional, knowledgeable and accommodating they all are, but also they have a great sense of humour yet their feet are firmly on the ground. Super Event are absolutely incredible to work with, they give 5* customer service and myself and my husband will recommend them to every single person that we know is planning an event of some description. The team are very understanding and nothing is too much trouble, they are very professional. They were recommended to me by a couple of friends and they made my wedding day and lead up to it absolutely amazing. They always kept in contact and constantly updating my documents throughout the 9 months, when it came to checking through all the details of the wedding a few weeks before the wedding, there wasn't one thing that was missed off the list, they are extremely efficient. They probably had 5+ events happening the same weekend as my wedding and you would never have known. They made me feel like the only customer they had. They always returned my calls, answered queries quickly and tailor made their wedding package around our needs. After our wedding we were in inundated with compliments about our day, the smooth running of the staff and the fantastic food. Super Event Limited. For aprox 12 years i was a full time college catering lecturer, Teaching young student chefs. I started my business working part time along-side my full time teaching job. My part time business grew, and grew and over took my teaching job. After many years of catering for fabulous weddings we entered in to the Wedding Marquee business. We are one of the few (very few) companies able to offer clients a complete in house catering and Marquee package. We offer free food tastings to our wedding clients with of course an oppurtunity to view a number of our great Marquees. Originally full time college trained. Worked throughout Europe and Middle East, as a chef, and ran a restaurant in Cambridge. Full time catering lecturer teaching young chefs for aprox twelve years. I hold a long list (very long list) of qualifications and also hold the highest culinary qualification available (at distinction level) in this country, City guilds 706/3. Many claim they hold it, ask them to produce it. I was a finalist in the international Hotelympia Chef of the year, and also awarded 3rd place in world BBQ championships in America. Vast catering experience spanning the globe, now focusing on weddings in Surrey, Sussex and Kent. Our Wedding at Birling Manor catered and 'run by' Super Event 8th October 2011 Our wedding day, even though we have to say it, was amazing, everybody since have said they loved it and the comments we got about how great the food was and the service they received from our caterers made us feel that we had absolutely made the right choice. It is a difficult decision who to get to cater for a large group of people, all with different tastes and expectancies, especially on one of the most important days of your life, now I know you'll never please everybody, but I think we actually managed it, and it was all down to Super Event. They certainly lived up to their name in all aspects of the service we received from them, from beginning to end. With their no nonsense, no unnecessary frills approach they simply offer excellent service, excellent food, all at a very reasonable price. Throughout the process Super Event have been easy to contact and nothing has appeared to have been too much effort. Tony and Chrystelle at the head office responded to each and every one of our many emails and phone calls and always provided the answers we needed. The tasting sessions Super Events offer beforehand (free to the Bride and Groom with the option of paying for others to join) are fantastic and it is nice to be able to have the chance to taste the wide range the food and drink Super Event offer, also allowing options to mix and match to make the meal you want for your day. (We chose, Smoked Duck and Asparagus to start, for mains the Blade of Beef Bergerac, with Dauphinoise potatoes (Amazing, beef just melted in the mouth) and a Triple Delight Dessert (why have just one) The day was planned by us and run without any problems by Super Events, with service over and above what we expected. Our venue (Birling Manor) is a blank canvas, their special selling point of enabling people to hire the venue for 4 days, enabled us to make it our own. You do have to hire the furniture (this is charged as extra as will only be needed for certain venues and Marquees) and a good catering company who can bring all their own appliances to create the meal, again Super Events do it all. The furniture arrived on the Thursday which enabled us to set the venue out how we wanted and Super Event staff came on the Friday to lay out the tables and allow us again to add our own finishing touches, it was all ready for us on the Friday to simply arrive on the Saturday and enjoy our day without worry. The only thing I have to say is maybe think about asking where Super Event park their refrigeration van, they seem to get free advertising in a lot of our photos, would have been nice if it had not in such a prominent position, just a little bit of hindsight. Now I know cost is something (if not the main thing) people will want to know about, Super Events are by no way expensive, in fact for the quality and service we received we thought they were exceptional value for money, worth every penny, (with a range of options to suit every budget). Other caterers seemed only slightly cheaper, but always ask what are the hidden extras, staffing, linen, crockery and cutlery, glassware, most other caterers we approached seemed to add this on top of the food cost thus overall making them far more expensive, Super Events included everything and more, as Tony said, 'how can you serve food with nothing to eat off or with. As our budget was quite tight we chose to provide our own food and drink for the evening festivities (with thanks to some locally sourced produce from Beachy Head Brewery and Frith and Little Deli, East Dean) Super Event staff stayed on to serve this, also running and providing the glassware for our free evening bar (to my huge gratitude again at no extra cost, I did have to check this. Twice just to believe it). Our special thanks go out to all the staff who made our day run so smoothly, especially Simon and Dee, nothing was too much trouble and our every whim and want was catered for (excuses the pun). We can't rave enough about the service and quality of food, food is freshly prepared there and then and served hot, the drink was flowing and the overall service excellent, one of the comments from our guest was, ' it was like being at a 5* restaurant, but much more fun and relaxed Our thanks once again to all involved, we had a truly magical and wonderful time, we didn't have to worry about a thing, except for enjoying every minute of our day Rob and Becci Fryer read more

Anita and I took a short vacation after the wedding to spend a little more time with friends and family who had come from overseas to join the celebrations. We are back home now, but still riding high on a cloud of euphoria, fuelled by the lovely photos we have, because of how perfect everything was on that special day. Well, back to the perfect day. Actually, we should go back a few days. Our new 'outlaws', the Marfleets were impressed with the marquee riggers (who picked a good day between two rainy ones). They were courteous, efficient and careful to look out for the Marfleet's house and gardens. A bouquet for the riggers, please. I met Chris and Emma on the Friday, and they could not have been more co-operative and helpful. What a sterling job those two did over the next few days, and what incredibly long hours they put in. Nothing was too much trouble, and they proved to be flexible, organised and capable managers of the event. Their communication with me was clear and timely, and the little extras (like the service of the wedding 'cheese' cake) were handled willingly and well. They obviously briefed their team well, because we had so many positive comments about how unobtrusive and efficient the service team were, not to mention personable, smiling and courteous. I had a few comments from some of the guests with dietary requirements, who were made to feel quite special and enjoyed the recognition. The team behind the bar came in for a lot of praise for their personality, helpfulness and efficiency. As far as I was concerned, as the father of the bride, I was delighted to sit back and let everything we had planned unfold, and I had no concerns at all that things were going well. So, a big bouquet to the very professional service team, and especially to Chris and Emma. The SuperLoos were a big hit. Several people told Anita that each time they visited, the loos looked as if they had just been cleaned. By the way, we had a few wine buffs in the room, including the country manager for China for Brown Brothers, and several national and international hoteliers and restaurateurs, many of whom made a point of coming over to say good things about the wines, and especially the Bordeaux. Now to the food. I was a bit busy during the reception and didn't get to see all the canapés. I did have a few of the mini-fish and chips (a great hit, especially with the Yorkshire folk), but I heard good things from a number of the guests about the other selections. Because we had our speeches at the end of the champagne reception in the gardens, our timing into the marquee was a bit off, but fortunately it was a cold starter, that looked and tasted good. I particularly liked the smoked trout. The lamb shank came in for a lot of praise, and I would say that the quality, taste and 'doneness', were even better that when we tried it at the food tasting, The vegetarians were also happy with the tagine. What really impressed everyone was how perfectly the vegetables had been cooked still al dente, fresh and with lots of colour. Dessert was also a wow. It looked good (see photo at http://www.howlingbasset.com/mywedding/shelleyandjimmy.html ) and tasted great. So a bouquet to Ken and his team for delivering a memorable menu. So I feel that I should make the bouquet a little more tangible. Tony, you told me that in January you will have a party for the entire Super Event family, and I would like to make a contribution to this event. To this end I have transferred monies to your account. I have mentioned the name of Super Event in over 600 emails I have sent out with details of the official photographs. I will continue to sing your praises, and would not hesitate to recommend you for any quality event. I am so thankful that we took the decision to go for a one-stop-shop. Finally, the last bouquets. Chrystelle, thanks for your efficient, timely and well-considered responses to all our requests. I hope you did not find me too demanding and that, in fact, my detailed planning helped everyone to do such a great job. And to Tony, thanks for the efficient conduct of the final meeting, the good communications to your team that obviously ensued, and for the kind gesture of hosting dinner on the evening of our meeting. We met Tony and Chrystelle (Super Events) a year before our wedding and it became evident in our first meeting that they knew what they were doing and had successfully completed many weddings and also had worked with people we knew. We left the first meeting feeling completely confident that they would design, build and deliver our perfect wedding, and they did just that and more. Over the following 12 months, Tony and I met just a few times on and off site. The basics were put into place and my wife Emily liaised with Chrystelle. Any questions Emily had were immediately answered either by phone or on email and there were quite a few as nerves before the big day grew closer! Food and wine were always high on our priority list so the tasting evening was something we were looking forward to and will always be remembered! Super Events set up a mock wedding evening so we could see carpets, lighting, tables, chairs, music, waiters/waitresses, wines, entrées, mains, deserts The evening was superb and we could see exactly what was going to be served and how. The whole evening was a run away success. The communication leading upto our wedding was second to none. On the final few days before the wedding i was introduced to the main planning manager and chef. They consulted with me before erecting the main marquee, positioning of the toilets and food tent so there were no surprises. Emily was reassured that she only needed to arrive, on time, at the wedding venue! On the day, everything went perfectly to plan; The marquees were all up 2 days before hand, including all the tables, chairs, decorations, lighting and dance floor so the final few tweaks we added were the final touches and not a mad rush! Champagne was served at the reception venue for 50 in the grounds at Wadhurst Castle, whilst more champagne and canapés were being served at Haremere Hall as a further 50 guests were arriving for the wedding breakfast. The service was next to none and you hardly noticed any of the staff; Polite, courteous and always smiling. We were fortunate enough to have one of the hottest days of the year but the canapés were chilled and the wine cold. We were even given additional ice buckets for the champagne and white wine in the main marquee. The wedding breakfast service was faultless for our 100 guests; fantastically quick, smooth and the entrees were chilled, the main hot and the desserts cold. All our guests raved about the taste, design and look of each dish. The wines were very good quality and as we opted for the bottomless bar, all our guests had their glasses topped up all day and all night! The evening entertainment, Dire Fakes, had been liasing with Super Events so the setup was simple on the day; electrics all in place, lighting done and the sound was fantastic! As the afternoon drew to a close and the evening guests arrived, a Hog Roast was served to about 150 + guests. It was piping hot, tasted devine with a choice of sauces and rolls and really hit the spot! As the night closed, the basics were cleared away and we were left to bask in the knowledge that the biggest day so far in our lives had gone even better than we had ever imagined. The following morning Super Events arrived, dismantled the marquees, cleared away any mess and all we were left with were the great memories and, a hangover! Faultless perfectionists with a 100 "Can do" attitude. Detail is the king when it comes to any Celebration, we know about this as we have been number 1 on the Worlds largest review site for 6 years with our Wedding Venue in Rye. As a Venue we have tried other catering companies, other Marquee providers, other suppliers of staff, other providers of tables, kitchen equipment and alcohol. Super Event are excellent at what they do, it's only one provider for everything, they are large enough to cope and small enough to care passionately about every person involved in the Celebration. If they cannot do it perfectly they may decline to take on an element of a job but work with your supplier seamlessly where needed. Our Couples rave about Tony and Chrystelle, so do we, but we also rave about Tom with his magnificent erections (Sorry I could not resist that, Tom puts up the Marquees ;-) his team are perfectionists - they will not trash the lawns, leave the gates open or upset the neighbours and the Marquees are immaculate and they do in 4 hours what takes other suppliers 14 hours. The arrange the electrics, lighting, toilets, flooring tables and chairs. Andy and the team who deliver and clear away arrive on time, they are so quiet and clean and so tidy that even if we have guests staying they hardly notice the significant amount of work going on quietly and without fuss in the background. The Chefs cope with hundreds of meals, dietary requirement, multiple courses and do so without fuss, stress or shouting - and without bad language or attitude which can often be associated with such a stressful occupation. Every plate is presented perfectly to the standard of the first plate and all of the food comes out hot - on heated plates where needed. The serving staff are all well turned out, exactly as you would expect from a 5 star venue, clean and smart they can be relied upon to make your Guests feel relaxed and pampered. Silver service or family service you will not find fault with the staff. Price is another area where not only do you get what you pay for but with Super Event you get something you cannot pay for "Peace of mind"! A couple may want to shop around to save a few pennies but the stress will make the process of arranging a wedding more like a business deal than an exciting journey - we strongly suggest to our Couples that a good plan properly conveyed can be passed to Super Event who will deliver a perfect celebration where nothing falls through the cracks where one supplier stops and another was expected to start. You can have your drinks preference, your bar, your .... whatever but pass on your dreams to Saltcote Place and Super Events and then relax. On your special day (if you have been relying on multiple suppliers) is not the time to find out which elements of your plan were causing stress behind the scenes or frustrating your Guests. Super Event, this review is long overdue, you guys are amazing, when we had problems with another "local to us" Marquee provider a few weeks ago you could not do enough to help us recover the situation which was caused by the failure of the other provider. Super Event helped make our wedding such a special and perfect day. The comments we received from numerous guests have been nothing short of exceptional and we can't thank them enough for getting it all so spot on. The food looked stunning, tasted amazing and the quantities were just brilliant, the evening hog roast was also a great success. When we arrived at our venue, Blackstock Barn, there was a lovely glass of bubbles awaiting us and the staff ensured we had a few canapes before disappearing for our photos which was very thoughtful. The whole team were very friendly and approachable and were always available to help with any requests. They were always on hand replenishing drinks and canapes and it was lovely to see such presence throughout the afternoon. With our extra requests we didn't make things easy for them, however the time & effort they all put in really showed and nothing seemed like too much trouble. The tables looked sensational, the favours were exactly as requested and the menu cards we created were a great success. Overall, we were extremely pleased with how the room looked. On a value for money note, the price per head for a four course meal was worth every penny , the quality & quantity of the food was superb. The drinks package was a no brainer, it gave peace of mind and was a great success, guests were able to enjoy their afternoon without once having to worry about an empty glass. From the first time we met Tony & Chrystelle they put our minds at rest, they made everything seem so simple and almost too easy! We felt completely reassured and any request was noted, actioned and very rarely needed to be mentioned againunless it was our unnecessary double checking!! The menu tasting was a superb afternoon and an exciting taster of what our day was to be like. The whole way through Tony & Chrystelle were friendly and approachable and they added a real personal touch to our whole experience. They guided us and helped all the way through with our decisions and were very helpful in making sure we made the right decisions from their experience. The whole service they provided was just perfect. Super Event have a very happy Bride & Groom, we completely trusted them with everything for our day and felt reassured the whole way through our process. A few people around us had said, if anything unexpected happens or isn't done on the day you just have to let it go and get on with it, don't worry about it, Super Event were on top of everything before it even needed doing and any corrections just went unnoticed and were no problem to the team. The peace of mind of not having to worry about anything left our focus completely on our day and everything just flowed. We used SuperEvent for our garden wedding. It was the best decision we made in the entire wedding process. Our wedding was on 3rd May 2014. In the beginning, we only knew we wanted an intimate garden wedding at home that was within a conservative budget. We really didn't know where to start, so we looked at catering companies and marquee hire companies seperately but it soon became quite a headache to compare them. There were only a few companies that did both/ everything. Then we stumbled across Yelp reviews on Google and at first we have to admit we were dubious about the 100% positive reviews. Nevertheless it was a promising start to our search :). So we proceeded with enquiries with SE and it quickly became clear that the services they offered, the professionalism and efficiency was what we wanted. And of course the price tag was very reasonable. The entire process, Tony and Chyrstelle were absolute professionals, and they made every effort to cater to our specific needs (thanks guys!) . They are genuinely passionate about what they do and these guys know what they are doing. Marquee - Tony and Tom came out to visit us 3 times just to make sure that the site measurements for the marquee was accurate. When we had our wedding we had brand new interiors for our marquee which was such a nice touch. The quality of the interiors were of high quality too. Menu - the menu variety was huge, we went for food tasting and the food was absolutely delicious. From the food tasting we were able to select with confidence what we wanted for our guests. SE also accommodated us on the buffet option just for mains. Logistics - all our questions were answered on email/ phone by the Chrystelle within the same day. I have never met anyone so efficient. She took a lot of the stress away from us and and for such an important event like a wedding she was a god-send! As a team, nothing was impossible for SE - they really worked with us at every level to make our wedding how we wanted it. Wedding day - We had THE perfect day (i'm quite a control freak and as the bride, I take my hat off to Stephen, the event manager for the day and his team - thank you for letting us enjoy our day). Everything ran like clockwork and we did not worry or needed to worry for one second. We even had extra guests turn up on the day and Stephen accomodated this almost without us noticing. The marquee decorations were understated but classy, the food was delicious (all our guests complimented on it) and the service was just impeccable. SE are experts in the events field. They are personable, passionate and most of all professional. And looking back, we echo every review we read - they really are an impeccable team. We would not hesitate to recommend them to anyone who wants a perfect event. I used to run a weddings venue in a wonderful country estate and I used Super Event as my only caterer. They were amazing! And I was not an easy client as I was very fussy about everything, and had very high standards. The food was superb, the service fantastic and the marquees always look wonderful. And from a venue's point of view, they were really great to work with. I had a comments book for the newly weds in which they could write anything they liked, and all of them were always thrilled with Super Event. They are a one-stop-shop, with everything you need, and what they don't have they are always willing to source. They have always been very flexible and meet the bride and groom's needs, rather than the other way round. I was always so impressed with them that I even used them for my own wedding, and I have to say, for once being on the receiving end, they surpassed even my expectations (and as a bride I was even more fussy than as a venue manager, if that was possible!). They did everything exactly as I had asked, and the food was truly delicious, the service superb and the marquee looked really wonderful. Half my guests were Italian and they are VERY fussy about food, as you can imagine, and they were absolutely delighted! I had so many comments afterwards, from both the English and the Italians about how wonderful the whole event was and how they had never had such wonderful food or service at a wedding before. And on the day itself, I knew for sure that I didn't have to worry about a thing from any aspect, as I knew that Super Event would ensure that the day was perfect. Which it was, and then some!! In addition, Tony, the MD, always went way above and beyond the call of duty to help me out in anything I needed, both as a bride and as a venue manager, and there were times when his help and advice were truly invaluable and immensely appreciated. I also have to give particular mention to Tom who sets up the marquees for the fantastic job he always did, to Rob who is a truly superb chef (and my chosen chef at my own wedding), and to Lorraine who was an amazing Event Manager and to whom I could totally trust the running of the event. I cannot recommend them highly enough, and I know them very well having worked with them for a couple of years and having had them cater my own wedding. We used Super Event for our wedding day which was on the 17th May 2014 & boy are we glad we did, I can't imagine there would be another company that could compete with these guys, they couldn't have done anything better. From our first point of contact with Chrystelle we were super impressed with the speed she answered our questions & put our minds at rest. The taster day was brilliant, seeing, tasting the food & drink & of course meeting the staff made our minds up that Super Event were who we wanted & trusted to use for our big day! We had a meeting with Tony who taylormade a package price per head for our food & drink which made budgeting much easier for us! Tony also gave my now husband some business advise which we both really appreciated, it was inspiring to hear Tony's business success story! We had to change the date a few times & also the venue as you can imagine this is very stressful but Super Event were very understanding & flexible which we were eternally grateful for! Having finalised numbers, food orders & marquee requirements we were ready to go! On the day before our wedding we had a pre meeting with our Super Event site/event manager at the Marquee she was brilliant & very helpful thanks Dee! We set our place names out & decorated the tables the marquee looked ace, we had the starlighting ceiling over the dance floor & a stage for our band it all looked great, even the loos!!! Our big day wow it was amazing it really was the best day of our lives! Super Event smashed it! We had our drinks & canapés in a seperate garden area, Super Event kept the drinks & canapés flowing, we were super impressed with all the staff so polite & attentive, no one ever had an empty glass! At the sit down meal we had the lamb for the main, which was delicious, all our guests were saying it was the best shanks they'd ever had! The trio Desert was just perfection & went down a treat! We booked Super Event to provide the marquee and catering for our wedding and we could not have made a better choice. We met with Tony Brewin seven months before the wedding day for an initial meeting and chose our food about 3 months later at a tasting. Tony and Chrystelle Libert were also in regular contact over the preceding months as we decided on numbers and other details. About 10 days beforehand, a schedule was delivered in advance and everything took place like clockwork after that. The team setting up the marquee arrived punctually, exactly when they said they would. They were able to answer any question and were clearly prepared to respond in a way that would accommodate any last minute changes on the layout of the marquee. The set up took place four days in advance so there was no need to worry about this being done at the last minute one or two days before. We were determined that our guests would eat well at our wedding, as we had been to too many receptions where the food was the least enjoyable aspect of the day! One of the reasons we were attracted by Super Event was the range of dishes available. As mentioned above, we selected our food about four months before at the tasting. Super Event staff served mini portions of each dish, meaning that we were able to try everything that was available from a very impressive range of dishes. We had a concern that the high quality at the tasting might not be reproduced on the day when 100+ dishes needed to be served, but we need not have worried. The food was beautifully presented and served at just the right temperature. Our salmon rillette starter was delicious and the lamb shank main course was perfectly done with the meat literally falling off the bone. The summer pudding, needless to say, was divine. All of our guests complimented us on the quality of their meal, with many saying that it was the best wedding food they had ever had. All of this was brilliantly orchestrated by Chris, our events manager, who was there from start to finish and available at all times for any queries and any sudden changes that needed to be made. In summary, if you are looking to cater for a large event, you cannot do better than going with Super Event. For any one who is wondering if super event is any good- take it from us- the answer is YES! We got married at Northbrook park in Farnham, Surrey on the 30th November 2012. We found Super Event using google and met with Tony at the Venue. We were a little apprehensive as Super Event had not catered at our venue before- and to be honest we had a hard time believing all the lovely reviews on Qype! They were just too nice!! In the end we took what we thought was a gamble turns out Super Event were the best decision we made. The food tasted incredible and JUST as it did at the tasting session, the portions are HUGE and delicious! We had around 200 guests to feed and wanted someone who could deliver quality food at a reasonable price- that is exactly what we got. Almost everyone at some point in the night said how amazing the food was- 'the best we have ever had at a wedding' and on the excellent service- how they didnt have to wait for anything. one of our guests has been in the catering business for over 40 years- even he said, 'of all the weddings i have been too its the best catering i have ever experienced' ( we LOVED that he said this!!!) We had a supervisor called Stephen- cant recommend him enough- he was on top of everything, even stuff that was not related to the food! i am iranian so there were extra twists etc that he had to be aware of and he understood everything we wanted. He even at one point corrected the venue managers mistakes! To top if all off Tony even took some extra snaps on his Ipad that I love, so kind. Leading up the event Chrystelle is really responsive and helpful- she always emailed back quick and helped us with any probs. Just a great team. They even served all the alcohol we had purchased- all extra cases returned none missing. We have heard some bad stories of catering staff running off with excess alcohol etc- this is not the case with Super Event at all- they are totally trustworthy :) We genuinely feel so lucky to have had them at our Wedding, I would be more than happy to talk to anyone who wants a telephone review. Finally, if you have picked them and wondering what to choose, we had the goats cheese bruschetta , beef begerac and dark chocolate truffle for dessert- AMAZING!! When our daughter Alice got engaged last May the hunt was on to find caterers for the Wedding the following February. I contacted Super Event and Tony Brewin came round and looked at the intended venue. Our neighbour had very kindly offered his beautiful unconverted Barn next door to us. Tony said it would be a perfect venue and plenty big enough for the 100 guests we wanted to invite. My concern was the likelihood of the cold and being able to heat the Barn adequately. Tony was in no doubt that it would be achievable and we were not to worry. Right from the start, he gave us confidence. Nothing was too much trouble and any problem we presented him with was solved instantly. Super Event would supply everything we needed to make the day a success. We did not have to source anything for the occasion anywhere else, it would all be taken care of by them and it was! They supplied Kitchens, dance floor, tables, chairs, linen, lighting, loos, walk ways, carpets, drapes and screening. All we needed to do was decorate the Barn ourselves, which we really enjoyed and wanted to do anyway. We chose the food from their extensive menu and their fabulous chef even altered the Pork dish to how we wanted it! We went for a taster lunch and were delighted with the food. If it was like that on the day then we would be more than happy and it was! Everyone of our guests commented on how good the food was and many said it was the best they had ever tasted at a wedding. The serving staff were fantastic, helpful, attentive but without being obtrusive. It was the most fabulous occasion and much to everyone's' delight (especially mine) it was plenty warm enough on the freezing February day.I need not have worried! Everyone involved with Super Event, from Chrystelle in the Office to Tom in charge of setting up the event, could not have been nicer or more helpful and patient. I can not recommend Super Event highly enough and if we have another wedding in the family I know who we will be using. read more

First Class Service ** I really don't know where to begin to talk about the absolutely first class service that we received from SuperEvent for all of the private receptions and parties that they have organised for us. From the initial contact with the company we have always received impeccable service from the utterly charming Chrystelle and owner Tony who makes sure that everything is absolutely taken care of and makes it all look effortless. Tony was fantastic at giving advice and suggestions whilst making sure that each event was completely personal to us. On the evening of each event the team arrive and set up with such precision and organisation that I was able to concentrate on more trying matters .... like my hair and make up !!! The waiting staff were fabulous, the perfect balance of friendliness and professionalism which is often difficult to achieve. They made sure all of the guests received the personal attention they needed which I really appreciated, infact they are so efficient that at the end of the evening they had cleared up and left before I had a chance to thank them. Incidentally they left my house looking exactley as it was before they arrived so there was no nasty suprise to wake up to in the morning ! Head chef Rob is the best !!! Friends are still talking about how great the food was ! And the event Manager Steve made sure that on the evening absolutely everything run smoothly and was ten steps ahead the whole evening which is quite an achievement given that I am a self confessed control freak. SuperEvents are the only company that I have ever dealt with who not only supply and deliver exactley what they promise but I guarantee it will be the one occasion when you actually get to enjoy your own party !!! So if you are looking for a stylish event with nothing short of perfection then call them !!! read more

For Fiona's wedding to Paul Cherry last Saturday, 14th August, we chose Brewer Street Farm in Bletchingly as the ideal romantic location for their Reception and what a most magical and fantastic Wedding Breakfast this proved to be to cap their very moving and joyous Marriage Ceremony at the Holy Family Church in Reigate. Chris and Sacha French, the delighful owners of Brewer Street, originally apprised us that they only recommend Super Event for Receptions as only they could offer the very highest quality of service in meeting certainly our own very fastidious expectaions. Tony Brewin, MD of Super Event, most ably assisted by his very communicative and accommodating PA, Chrystelle, provided for Fi & Paul and for us and all our respective families and friends , a never to be forgotten occasion on this the most special of days. Many of our 140 guests were unanimous in that this was the happiest and best reception they had ever attended, praise indeed for outstanding seamless and flexible service on the day under the excellent auspices of Event Manager, Chris, who with his very charming, personable and most patient team, provided spectacular service. The food was delicious and so well presented and served, allowing for a variety of requirements from the options of menus available for which we had a prior tasting. and the excellent selection of drinks adeqately satisfied even the mosst demanding!! As for the marquee, furniture and funishings we could not have wished for better decor. A very big heartfelt "Thank You" Tony, Chrystelle and Chris and all the supporting team for making this special, memorable occasion such a thumping success. Well done. When my then fiancee and I first met with Tony Brewin I was unsure about having our reception in a marquee, as I had been to some events in the past which left me unimpressed. Also, as our wedding was taking place in November I was concerned that it may be drafty and cold if the weather was bad. Within five minutes of meeting Tony I wanted him to be in charge of organising our reception as he instills such confidence in the service he provides. It never once felt as if he was trying to sell us anything but was simply working with us and discussing options which would work best for us. He even dissuaded my fiancee from adding further items to the marquee as he didn't think they were worth us paying for. Throughout the whole process of planning and organising our wedding we never for a moment had any concerns or doubts about our decision to use Super Event for the marquee build, design and catering. On the day everything ran EXACTLY to clockwork. The canapes were exquisite and the food was fantastic. The waiting staff were wonderfully professional and our 'master of ceremonies' as well as being friendly and calm kept everything running exactly to time. We really were able to relax on the day as everything was so well looked after. The marquee was beautiful and felt and looked like a permanent structure. My mother, who feels the cold very badly had been concerned about the temperature in the marquee but within an hour she asked (exactly as Tony had confidently said she would) if we could turn the heating down. Tony Brewin and Super Event really are as good as they and everyone else says they are and were worth every penny we spent with them. We cannot recommend them highly enough. read more

Dear Chrystelle and Tony We needed to write and say thank you. Thank you for making our Wedding Day at Cowdray Ruins, Midhurst, Sussex so perfect. Really to go as far to say perfect is a very big thing. Both Sasha and i work in the Hospitality industry, i studied it at Univeristy, I have worked for some of Europe's best Hotels, I worked for a major Hospitality and Leisure Consulting Business and have had a Service sector business of my own for the past 12 years. As such our decision to go with SuperEvent across the board - marquee, food & drinks was a decision based on intense scrutiny. I can only say our decision to go with you was 100% vindicated. I know we were very careful, often precious in our planning. We wanted the day to be an occasion we could switch off and not only did you make us feel special in the lead up, empathising and providing for the requests we made of you, but you never once said 'No we can't do that'. This meant a lot. From the day we met you at the tasting we KNEW we'd picked the right company to execute our day and from that point forward we honestly never gave it a second thought. As for Steven, Ken and the team on the day itself. FIRST CLASS - what a fantastic group. So great seeing the front line team backing up everything the sales/executive/organisation team were saying. They deserve huge credit. I can't begin to thank you enough for making it happen in the way it did but i will happily act as a referee should anyone want to discuss what we went through from beginning to end. Well Tony and the entire Super Event Team you certainly lived up to your name on the occasion of our Daughter Christiana's marriage to Ashley. Right from the first meeting through to the last visit to check the site at our home was clear and to our satisfaction the attention we were given was first rate. The staff we met from Chrystelle at the beginning at the tasting evening (which is invaluable to anyone wanting to hold an event as you get to taste first hand the food you will be offering to your guests) to Tom who was Marquee manager and then the waiting staff for the day and Charlotte who was our supervisor on the day each and everyone of them was a credit to the Company and just ensured everything ran smoothly in their respective departments. When Christiana requested certain flowers and napkins for the canape service just two days before the event, this was just met with a calm efficiency and they magically appeard, thank you. You even thought of the weather conditions and going through our fields in advance so that that the ground was not churned up and similarly with the breaking down of the event. Two days after the event we would not have known you had been there. We are still getting letters of thanks from guests commenting on the food etc which was superb. We could not find any fault with any aspect of the day you provided us with, indeed my Husband and I were able to relax and enjoy our Daughters Wedding day knowing it was in the very capable hands of Super Event We can't thank you and the Team enough Tony for making it such a memorable and hassle free day for us all. We have just had our first wedding anniversary (24 September) and I was thinking back to what a wonderful wedding we had. We used Superevent for our catering and they were absolutley amazing! First class service both before the wedding from Chrystelle and Tony and on the day itself from Wendy and her team. We were awkward in that we wanted an old fashionned marquee which Superevent do not supply most wedding suppliers would not allow different suppliers but Tony was fully accommodating of this and was fantastic in liasiing directly with our marquee providers to ensure that all bases were covered. We also bought our own alcohol which Superevent had no problem serving. Supervents' flexible approach to allow us to have the wedding we wanted rather than making a full package compulsory was very refreshing! On the actual day itself we were lucky enough to hit a heatwave Wendy was very mindful of this and approached us towards the end of the scheduled time for canapes outside and asked us if we wanted another half an hour to enjoy the sunshine with our guests, before moving inside. This extra half an hour probably caused issues for the Superevent staff, but we were very impressed that the enjoyment and our guests enjoyment of the day was put first. This is what makes Supervent outstanding! The quality of the food was excellent- some of our wedding guests said that the canapes and the wedding breakfast (we opted for the BBQ) were the best that they had had. Amazeballs! Sums it up. Super Event have been fabulous from the word go. My husband and I got married at Slaugham Place, West Sussex on August 3rd this year. What an amazing job they did. The food was superb and cooked to perfection, the staff were beyond friendly, my table settings were out of this world.Everything was all i imagined and then some! I couldn't have asked for anything more. Honestly, they were amazing. I have to add, Tony, you are a very lucky man to have such a hardworking and simply fabulous employee, Chrystelle! She was brilliant, very organised and to the point. In the 11 months i had planning my wedding, I did not once feel at all apprehensive about the job Chrystelle and her team were doing. I had every faith in them and my god did they deliver. They covered absolutely everything and made my day a dream come true. Our event manager on the day was Loraine, she too was simply fabulous. The whole day went amazingly well. I do not have a single bad word to say about Super Event. In fact, I want to have a huge party just so i can use them again! It has been an absolute honor to have worked with such wonderful people. I will never forget you all as you are the ones that made my dreams come true. Every person that attended my wedding have all said the same thing ''best wedding ever''. I know i made the right choice picking you guys and you are ''the best team ever''!!! If you are reading the review whilst considering which events company to entrust with hosting your wedding reception, look no further. Super Event exceeded our expectations in every respect. From conception to the day itself the entire team were wonderful. Tonys and Chrystelles expertise guided us effortlessly through our decision making and will do everything within their power to meet your exact requirements. The food tasting opportunity proved invaluable when selecting our menu courses and we are delighted to say that the food served on the day was equally as delicious. So many of our guests have praised the enourmously high standard of cuisine, our one regret was not inviting our exceptional chef Richard out from the kitchen for a huge round of appaulase. We are certain that chosing a company that provided both the marquee and catering was a huge advantage. Just prior to our wedding day we met our event manager Stephen at the reception venue to discuss every detail for the day which was very reassuring. During the wedding breakfast both Stephen and his serving team were superb and Stephen ran a seamless service and his serving team took time to interact and chat to our guests at the right time. We must also say a special THANKYOU to the unsung heros of the day, our chef Richard and his team. Dont take a chance when organising one of the most important days of your life use SuperEvents Myself and Vikki can not priase them highly enough. We used the services of Super Event for our wedding and the service they provided was, put simply, exceptional. Their experience, hard work and support ensured that our day was very successful. From the very start - including the first telephone conversation I had with Tony, the subsequent meetings we had, to the day itself was absolutely first rate. Early on it became apparent that the guys at Super Event knew what they were doing and were able to deal with all the questions and querries we had. To our relief we soon realised that we had chosen the right caterers (amid the many quotes we had received) and better still they were very committed to making our day a success. In respect of the day itself, the food that was prepared and served was of a very high standard and many of our guests commented at how great the food tasted. There was also the hard work of Dee, the head caterer for the day, who was absolutely brilliant all weekend. She worked exceptionally hard, as did the rest of her team. The day for me and Liz went so smoothly and that was down in no little part to the hard work of Super Event. I work in a professional industry and so I like to think that I know the value of good customer service and the need to provide a professional service, and everyone at Super Event provided just that. I will of course not hesitate to recommend Super Event to my friends and colleagues or anyone else who will listen for that matter! Hence my willingness to publish my review here. read more
