All of a sudden the black woman who was mopping (cashier) Darted towards me and started yelling/shouting at me telling me if I fell it would of been my fault. I absolutely did not deserve the yelling and the shouting. I can see and I can read. Things would of been different...If she would had said...Sir! The floor are wet please watch your steps. I usually creep in at night like a Shinobi in and out then I vanish into thin air. The staff that I see at night are pretty cool Brian and Philip. I come in feeling good and these dudes don't even trip. I'm not sure when the last time I got gas here. But I don't come for that reason. I got my places where I get my munchies and this is not one of them. So a little bit about the gas station. They do have a payphone and it works. The air and water machine is broken down. I'm not sure when there going to fix it. They don't charge any extra fee's foe using the atm or credit cards. They sell everything any other gas station would sell. My only complaint would be that the Cerveza is overpriced. I could go to Arco by Oak Park but dude at night be tripping way too much. Not trying to sell beer if stuff is jumping off at night. Arco on Harding way and Center st is all bad especially if you're feeling Gucci. One time will get definitely get you. So yeah I'll be back very soon. Why? ? My Son and I walked in like Cholos that we are. We're downtown and it gets a bit loco out this way. My Son's stomach was saying" I need a belly full of eat". So I bought him a drink and chicken strips with fries. The market inside has everything you need like all gas stations that have a little mini mart. Nothing really healthy here. They have my personal favorite chips and beer, cigarettes and Jimmy's for that McLovin. Brown chicken Brown Cow viva la Ron Jeremy. What sucks the local hustlers take the window washing brush to get their paper. But my second visit they had brand new ones. The latest hustle is?? If you spend $20 you get free ice cream, perfect for this time of year. Stocktanistan gets hella hot in the summer. So licking that ice cream as it melts on your favorite top. May not be a good thang for some. There's a generous amount of gas stalls for your vehicles. The decor is junk food all over the place Nomnomnomnom. The music is the local radio stations. Very kid friendly with bubble gum. It's also perfect for dates( see Ron Jeremy reference). The parking can be tricky because the excellent gas station is surrounded by one way streets. But the engineers designed a perfect way for you to drive in and out with no problem. The staff is pretty cool here and I'll be making this one of my spots to post up at like a mailbox on Friday night with my firme Hynas. Why? OK so last year I had stopped here for gas and I tried to pay…read moreat the pump and it wasn't working so I went inside to pay and I explained to the cashier that their machine was faulty because it wouldn't let me pay outside and he just said "oh ok" and that was pretty much it , he didn't seem too concerned about it and I never gave it another thought because this is not my usual gas station. Fast forward to this morning, I was driving my son to work, and had to stop at the station to get some gas. I pull up to the pump and we are trying to pay and the buttons are not pushing even though it's scanned my card information because it asked me to enter my ZIP Code after that it wouldn't let me do anything else not even cancel the transaction so I figured ok this one is broken, so I backed up to another one and the same thing happened and I couldn't pay at that pump either, so finally my son had to go in and pay inside , so now I know all of these pumps are faulty and I will never stop here again. That is not very safe when a pump will let you insert your card to where it gathers your card information but then you can't even cancel the transaction because the buttons are all faulty and broken. Never again!! And they don't seem to care about this inconvenience to customers because if that was the case they would at least put up signs at each pump stating to "pay inside" so a customer doesn't insert their card into these machines, especially since this is not a new occurrence, it was a year since my last visit so now I know this is just common for them.

After working nearly 12 hours I stopped there at approximately 7pm and was not allowed to use the restroom. It was clearly racial profiling because I am African American. I immediately left the store and left behind the items I was intending to purchase. I then went to the Chevron gas station at 508 W Charter across the street. I was told the restroom was closed. I agree with communities sticking together when it is for the good of all. I stopped going to the Chevron several weeks ago because I felt the hate when I walked in the door. It is so amazing that you have the audacity to hate me because I am AA of the black culture but you want my green money. I don't normally right reviews unless there is a serious principal/morality failure with the business. I looked up the owners and I am asking Gurvinder and Gurdeep to take another look at why you allow your employees to discriminate against others. It is long overdue for the Chevron across the street but I would also ask Ravinder and Prabjot the owners of the Chevron to do the same. As you know first hand this country is a melting pot with acceptance of all, how dare you come here with your bigotry!
