I seen the work on my friend and had to have them for myself. I called and made my appointment. Thuy was very professional and kind on the phone. The salon was very clean and the decor is very pretty. Thuy was very gentle and detailed. You can tell she really takes pride in her workmanship and made sure my brows were perfect. Well in 2015 I decided to color my hair and I found Krystina and I haven't turned back since. Krystina's been my hair artist since then. I trust her with my hair. It's hard for me to trust someone with my hair as it's thick, slightly wavy and can poof out if you cut it the wrong way. I also only boxed colored my hair when I was younger. So when I finally wanted to color my hair again (virgin hair no color) I wanted to make sure I did it in the safest way and Krystina does that. Yes, it's not a quick process and yes it's not a cheap process, but spend a bit more to not damage your tresses. Then really it's up to you after that point to make sure you treat your hair the right way to maintain that hair color to make it last. You can read my previous reviews to explain how to take care of your hair and what I've learned from Krystina over the years (DM me if you need some advice). Yes, she makes sure you know how to take care of your hair so you don't have to see her again or provide you guidance on when to come back again to maintain color and hair length. So I only see Krystina once a year or when I know it's about ready for a new color (that usually is around a year when I get the itch). Then I sit in the chair from 5-9 hours...yeah I go in with a backpack of snacks and tablet/phone to sit for long periods of time. I basically go in with no expectations as I let Krystina do what she wants as I'm always game for whatever she wants to try out on my head as I know she'll make magic. And I always leave quite giddy and happy. This last session we had was magical. I felt like a Lisa Frank artwork. The neons were fab. I've had other friends reach out to me about my hair and I'm always happy to recommend Krystina! I'm a little over 6 months now since my last color and my head is still fabulously colored but faded of course in a rainbow of fall-like colors. I don't know when I'll get the itch again (probably 6 more months) but I know when I do, I'll reach out to Krystina and schedule. Krystina recently moved to Texas but flies back to do hair at her Pleasant Hill location. So make sure to schedule far in advance! I highly recommend Krystina for your coloring needs!
