The last two times my youngest daughter has had her hair cut, the stylist - Manzar, cut her hair way TOO short. I mistakenly gave this stylist another chance and again asked for a CHIN LENGTH bob. I actually pointed to the bottom of my chin and my daughter's chin, yet somehow my little one ended up with a mid-CHEEK length cut. Needless to say, we'll either be trying a different stylist next time or a new salon. When I told Manzar the cut was too short she didn't apologize or anything, she said "hmm, it still looks cute." Well, it's about four inches shorter than what we asked for, but we appreciate you applauding your work lol. Also, one of the reasons I came to this particular salon was I heard there was a loyalty rewards program but it's something one must sign up for beforehand to receive - I didn't see this when I scheduled the appointments online so was unable to acquire any points or credit for the visit or visits prior, which I guess doesn't necessarily matter now because I'm not sure we'll ever be back.

As soon as we walked in, he sprinted to the salon chair that looked like a police car. He was so excited for his turn to sit. Then he noticed the toy corner and was totally preoccupied there. I liked how clean and tidy the store was. We had an appointment, but we weren't helped exactly at the agreed time. There were two stylists and we had to wait about 15 minutes for one of them to finish with a client. I think that's where there's room for improvement -- a different system for helping customers -- otherwise what's the point of making an appointment? But the haircut was so cute and just what I asked for after showing the stylist an inspiration photo from Pinterest. She was very gentle and my son had no problem following her directions to tilt his head occasionally. When the haircut is finished, kiddos are offered a balloon and a sticker. We paid around $40, which felt fair for the helpful, fun experience.

I wanted a shorter bob in the back and longer in the front. Since this salon is expensive, I trusted that I would be in professional hands. Unfortunately, my experience with Mitra Jam was extremely disappointing and honestly devastating. The first time she cut my hair, it did not look anything like the haircut I asked for. When I explained that I did not like how it looked, she cut even more trying to "fix" it, and it ended up way too short while still not looking like the style I wanted. I also mentioned that I wanted some volume removed from my hair, but instead of blending it properly, she started cutting random chunks throughout my hair. Now, weeks later, I still have pieces sticking out that are barely about an inch long. There is no way to blend them or style them naturally. I literally have to use gel just to keep those pieces down because they stick out everywhere. I truly believe that if someone is not experienced or confident doing a certain type of haircut, they should not perform it. It is honestly unbelievable to pay this much money and leave with your hair completely ruined. Despite everything, she was kind and told me that if I wanted her to fix anything, I could come back. But realistically, she cannot uncut my hair. I normally do not leave negative reviews, but this experience genuinely affected me and I would not want someone else to go through the same thing.
