Omg she left again. I called TD bank and she answered the phone and told her to get back to me. She is ridiculous. I learned her name by calling and her name is Andrea. Wow, she's the assistant manager. I confronted her that leaving me constantly is extremely rude. She apologized and explained that they are understaffed and that she has been the assistant manager for just 4 days and they are hiring more staff. She offered TD merchandise to appease me. I think she's trying her best, but I still can't say that this was a pleasant experience. Overall time it took was almost 2 hours. I would increase my star rating to 1.5 for her trying though but I can't get myself to click on the second star.

I called this branch and asked if they had a notary and they said yes they did come on over. I was greeted when I came in by Patrick who asked me to sit down. I asked him if he could notarize the document I needed and he said certainly. I pulled out my ID and also my TD Bank ATM card to let him know that I was a customer. He said yes I do need your ID but I would notarize this even if you weren't a customer. Tell me where else in the world this could happen other than TD Bank. However, based on the outside view, this Cap 1 is likely comparable/similar to others in the area. In the era of ATM networks Capital One is part of the MoneyPass or Allpoint network thus to avoid unnecessary charges, selcted this location. The drive through is located around the side of the building and accomidates both ATM and Teller transactions. There is also an ATM adjacent to the main entrance. Getting to the bank is via two way access road that also serves a busy Mickey D's and gas station, convenience store. Mentioning this because its a bit of tight fit when busy and passing other vehicles in traffic. Your results may vary, but for Cap 1 customers this is an banking oasis for locals to the area.

A lady came to the door to let people out who promptly told me that the lobby was closed due to Covid. Obviously not since she'd just let two people out. I am tired of people and organizations using Covid as an excuse for POOR customer service. But there is still the question of interest - or lack there of. They use the excuse of Covid for this too. They plead "poverty." Yet the bank feels free to purchase naming rights to all kinds of athletic facilities.

Anyways, an employee in this branch gave me incorrect information that led to some fees; very frustrating, since I specifically went to the branch to ask questions to make sure to avoid fees (with a credit score over 800, I'm not loosie goosie when it comes to finances). The branch claimed they have no authority to refund fees, so I called the 1-800 number. Then, I noticed an additional $2 fee on my account! Come to find out, buried in their website, you can be charged $2 for calling their customer service "Phone24" line...wow, kind of makes trying to resolve an issue difficult since the online messages take 2-3 days to get replies and you aren't supposed to share certain information. In summary, BB&T is NOT the customer-oriented bank they used to be. They have gotten fee greedy, just like a number of other big banks that like to prey on their own customer; they just earned one less. If you are cool with banks sneaking in hidden fees, BB&T is the bank for you! If you don't, stay away. What a shame, they used to be a great bank. Services is quick and most of the tellers are very nice except one who always has a bad attitude -she was already mentioned by another reviewer who had his review censored and is in the 'non recommended' reviews. I too have had situations where she (uninvited) jumped into a conversation I was having with another teller, and twice, had to tell her that this conversation didn't concern her. The manager of the bank has absolutely no respect for women and when I had a banking problem which was M&T fault, I had such an insulting interaction with him that I had to contact the district manager and CEO's office. On one occasion, I was witness to this manager and employee openly speaking rudely about another customer who was just in the branch, and wow, was that unprofessional! Unfortunately, the branches don't have some nice niceties that other banks have such as coin-counting machines, coffee, or bottled water.
