My 85 year old mother went inside this location this week to cash a sizeable check, on her personal checking account, for Christmas money gifts for her children and grandchildren. Mother had her drivers license, suntrust bank statement, social security card, medicare id, etc. All the tellers and manager refused to cash her check because she didn't have a debit/credit card. Mother has never had either of these, she is 85 and people that age did things differently and have no debt or use for debit/credit cards. They have always written checks. My family has been with this bank from the time it first opened. I would suggest employees be trained to help and deal with the elderly and be more helpful. Needless to say mother immediately went to Bank of Cleveland to switch these funds out of her account and close it. I'm her son and considering the same. read more
