My child is developmentally behind and they were willing to give us a chance. we fell in love with this team right away. they were very hands on with our child and everyone knew him. all staff and children alike. they provided up with excellent feedback when there were times that were a little tougher, which happens in this work. they worked with us to collaborate on solutions and ideas. they were very inclusive with him and other children and even let him do his thing. they knew he was special and the children knew but did not care. he was their friend. Marci's team was absolutely amazing and provided such excellent care it was heartbreaking to leave due to relocation. All the staff was sad to see him go but was very supportive. they were all very hands on and believed in educating all children at their pace. we thank you all for your support and taking care of our child so well. it will be a challenge to find a new area after all these amazing and wonderful people. Firstly, the school space is immaculately clean and in great condition. The classrooms are warm and inviting and there is ample beautiful outdoor space for the children to explore. The teacher to student ratio is very low, which means each child truly does get individual attention and tailored care. Miss Mallory and Mr. Jacob in our son's classroom have been wonderful influences in his life. They are thoughtful, gentle, and deeply nurturing in their approach. We are leaving Ahava at the end of this week but only because we are moving across the country. We will miss Ahava greatly and will hold all other schools to the same high standards as Ahava! Arbor is authentic Montessori and it shows in the children. Our boys minds are so alive and curious and their sense of place in the world has expanded greatly. The teachers (and administration) are adept at understandings the children as individuals and make great efforts to customize lessons around the child's interests which further excites the children about learning. We look forward to continuing into Elementary with Arbor.
