We registered our 11th grader son as a full time student, but he only received 16 hours a week due to not having enough teacher. They discharged him for minor behavior and not even be able to prove it in camera just the day after we made last payment. During 6 months , he only received 2 crdites!!. We should pay about $4000 to register him to different school. And now , in end of year , he is not able to move up to next grade, because he is behind 3 crdites and we have to pay another $$$ for it. There has been many cases of drug use on the school premises but most cases have been handled properly. Girls will get dress cut for shorts, when often the principal's outfit happens to be worse. Guys will also get dress cut for the length of their shorts. There is a point system called PBIS which makes students often feel left out because they didn't make the rewards. Which in most cases students were absent and weren't able to receive any points because they were sick or other similar things. The majority of students are well educated and there are lots of opportunities for extra curricular and high school credits. I would say overall Crabapple is a decent school.

It took me until I was 35 to get on the correct medication because I had been medically, mentally , emotionally, physically , spiritually abused. I had no one I could trust or cared about me and was completely alone in the world. My Guidance counselor told me just to pretend that everything was ok when it was not ok. What stands out to me the most is her dedication to sports. In a school where we focus on innovation and the sciences (which I love), it is important to be well-rounded. My 6th grader participated in Volleyball this season and it was a joy to have her as a part of the TEAM with the older girls who took her under their wing. Just last week, they had a Sports Banquet and I was both impressed and overwhelmed at the love that the athletes received from Ms. Batista and the Sports Admins. All of the children were dressed up, they received awards and recognition as well as a fabulous dinner. My daughter received two awards and one for Most Improved...she's quite small, but the girls on the team loved her anyway! This is just one of the things that I enjoy about the FAST family!
