Flowers make me happy and seeing them bloom around my place really brightens my mood. It's just difficult to always justify purchasing flowers at the market, Walgreens or CVS or even from the man at the street light as they tend to be overpriced, are small bouquets and do not bloom as quality flowers should. Enter Sunshine Flowers where you can find a variety of flowers, particularly roses, at the most economical prices I've seen. A bouquet of 24 roses costs $12, regardless of color, stem length or bulb size. The only exception is the red roses, which are 24 for $14 - still quite reasonable. They also have other types of flowers, but my focus has always been on the roses. The staff is very helpful and are great at providing tips to maintain your roses (e.g., the colder the area the flowers are left the longer they will last and the smaller the bulb the more the rose bulb opens). The Eskimo and Oceania roses have offered the best blooming effect so far and I would definitely recommend requesting these. You can also purchase vases of all sizes at prices that range from $5-20. They have a convenient parking area right across the entrance to the warehouse and are conveniently open Mon.-Sat. I can never make it during the week as they close at 6 and I work late but they are open on Saturdays too so no complaints from me. If you are in need of some colorful, quality and reasonably priced flowers, or just want to brighten your day (or someone else's), Sunshine is the way to go! read more

Unfortunately I did not have a good experience here. Went a week and a half before my baby shower to pick out some flowers so that my mom and I could do a mock centerpiece. The staff was very nice and very helpful that day and even let us know that if we ordered by Monday, they could have flowers by Thursday. My mom went on Monday early morning to order the flowers we needed. She even took pics on her phone to remind them of type and color of flower. When she went to pick up flowers today, they are white. We ordered pink. We ordered small tropical leaves. Leaves are large. At no point were we told that color might vary, or that they had no control over that. Otherwise I wouldn't have placed the order. Worst part is, management didn't really try to do anything. They didn't try to fix the order in any way or call somewhere else or even give us a discount on the wrong flowers. There solution was for my mom to call me to see if I liked this color (I didn't go bc of work). I wish they would have at least attempted to help us find something similar or maybe another flower in a similar color. But instead it seems that they kind of expected me to change my whole color scheme because of their mistake. So it's Thursday and I don't have flowers for my Saturday 1pm baby shower. Well, I do but they don't match and now it'll look like bridal shower of baptism. Now I have to go scramble tomorrow and see what I find, something I am not looking forward to at 8 months pregnant on my one day off which I had planned to use to do my nails and hair and relax before the event. If you need flowers for your house that you can pick up on the spot, then I can recommend them bc their flowers were fresh and reasonably priced. However if you need a large order for an event, I suggest using another store. You don't know if the order will be correct and the management doesn't really do anything to fix their errors. read more

I placed an order with Sunshine flowers since I DIYed my wedding florals and it was so incredibly fresh. I ordered multiple bunches of eucalyptus, babies breath, and a few other bunches of greenery. The owners were so incredibly nice and helpful with all my questions in regards to my centerpieces, my bouquet, etc. If you are Ballin on a budget and are thinking of DIY and your own flowers, I 100% recommend this place! They have a website which is super easy to use and you can really see what all the prices are. I did buy the roses from Costco which were a little bit more and expensive but honestly I kind of wish I had bought them from sunshine flowers because the Costco ones were slightly green and some more wilted. Excellent flower shop! I decided to DIY my wedding bouquets and then got panicked about how to find the right flowers and colors. I ended up waiting until the last minute but I am so glad I went with Sunshine Flowers. I showed them a pic of the look I was going for and they took it from there. She helped me pick all the right flowers in the correct quantities. I was expecting to spend so much more so I asked if I should buy more flowers. Rather than sell me a ton of flowers I didn't need, they said I ordered plenty and gave me the suggested quantities of each flower. I will come back to this place over and over again. Their appearance wasn't great, so I asked if they had any fresher ones available in the back. I was told no, these are FRESH! Wrong, I would say Sunday they look fair, Monday they looked done, and today they are in the trash. If I am going to pay for something I expect at least a week of freshly displayed flowers. Terrible customer service and even worse roses. Over paid for Valentines day roses for my mom and the roses were freezer burned and wouldn't even hold up on their own. The stems were floppy, I have seen better roses from street vendors! Terrible and such a rip off. Completely ruined my Valentines gift to my mom. Shame on them for selling crappy roses! I received flowers on Wednesday late afternoon. When I opened up the box the flowers were sent in a few of the stems were already wilted. The flowers were suppose to be deep purple. They were clearly pink. I talked to someone at the flower shop and they asked me to send them pictures of the flowers. I was truly disappointed. The person assured me that they would talk to the person who placed the order and would get back to me. No one never called me back. When I arrived the next day, many of the rose buds were already wilted. I finally spoke with Sam. So out of the 2 dozen roses I was able to salvage only 15 of the rose stems. Sam indicated there was nothing she could do. REALLY! The person who sent me the flowers was a regular customer so I thought they would have made an exception. After using Sunshine Flowers for a niece's wedding in June, I used them again for another niece's wedding this past weekend. Again, they went above and beyond to help make her wedding special. She wanted dark red roses in her bouquet and the folks at Sunshine were able to provide Black Bacarra roses, which were absolutely beautiful. All together, I ordered 250 roses from them (plus some other flowers and greens), including Cherry Brandy, Antique and the Black Baccara. All except one of the roses were absolutely beautiful and I used every single one of them in 21 centerpieces, two church arrangements, her bouquet, five bridesmaids bouquets, multiple boutonnieres and other arrangements. Third wedding this year for which I used Sunshine Flowers. I ordered over 1200 stems of assorted roses, spray roses, hydrangea, carnations, stock and green. So many positives: they are always very helpful with questions and suggestions - i.e. they let me know that the roses I wanted were more expensive than a similar variety. They communicate when there are issues - no roses of a particular variety were available. They called me to let me know that and gave me other options. The prices cannot be beat - online or locally. Plus, you can buy just one bunch of a certain flower (not dozens that you don't need, unlike many other online flower suppliers). And finally, and most important for me and my bride - the flowers were absolutely gorgeous and in great condition - even packed in boxes and air freighted to Milwaukee.
