We consider ourselves seasoned travelers and know a thing or two when picking a good suitcase, but…read morethe owner is so knowledgeable we felt grateful that he had shared his expertise with us and helped us pick a luggage most perfect for our need. He really knows his inventory so when we mentioned that we need a light carry-on (on some international flights the limit of carry-on is 7kg, so every ounce makes a difference). He also told us how the two smaller wheels on each corner is better on cobble stones than the single larger ones, make the luggage less bumpy. There are many little things that we as a consumer don't know how to look for but he expertly guide us to compare the different products (some that I pick because they look cute) and find one that will be useful for years to come. There are some items on specials that make for really good sale. For high end luggages like Samsonite or Travelpro, he will google the best price online and give you a discount off it.

Staff was very patient in answering our questions and showed us models that fit what we were looking for. Since my wife and I travel often for work/play, we wanted something sturdy that will last for a long time and also looked good. I appreciated that the staff was not pushy and gave us honest feedback - regardless of the price. We ended up buying a nice Samsonite suitcase and a cute Disney princess carry on for our daughter! I also liked that we were able to buy some bright color suitcases which make it easy to find on the carousel at baggage claim. Highly recommend!

A great place to shop if you have an eye for fashion. Now remember this isn't a boutique. So don't…read moreexpect that kind of experience. This is a wholesaler that is open to the public (I believe on most if not all days). So yes it's true you cannot try the clothes on. No wholesaler allows this. This shopping experience is best for those who know what they want or have a good eye. Last time I came I was looking for a flowy, strapless white top and with the help of a young woman found a few to choose from. As far as other posts regarding being followed. I'd say it depends on your perspective; I like to think of it as having my own personal shopping assistant ready to help answer any questions I may have. Take advantage, you can ask for pricing and sometimes they can help with sizing and fit as well. So if you're curious to where many of our local boutiques find their merchandise and have an eye for fashion look no further. Happy shopping!

Located in Miami's "Fashion" district, it's surrounded by a bunch of other stores with similar…read moreclothes. Prices are very reasonable, and while it has some cute, trendy clothes (nothing of high quality), you aren't allowed to try anything on. This was the biggest problem for me because even though I found a pair of linen pants, there is no way I could buy them without trying it on first. So if you want to shop here, I recommend coming in leggings and a small tank so you can slip on the clothes without needing a fitting room. (But don't let them see you ... I think the rule is that you aren't allowed to try stuff on... not just that they don't have fitting rooms.) And I was followed around for several minutes (in case I steal something??) before I turned to the sales person and asked her if I was in her way. She said no and left me alone. Accessories are very lacking. Small selection of bags and shoes.

Mirlitons!! That's all I can say. The ONLY place where we have found these beauties…read more The bakery is small but that's ok. We were in and out in 5 mins. I went just for the Mirlitons. Each sweet has a cost of $1.5 and since I wanted a few I opted for the box, which contains 12. The box was $18, weird since it made each sweet $1.5 If I had know I probably would have mixed the Mirlitons with "tartaletas de coco y De guayaba". Next time. The actual "Meliton" was mouthwatering. I'd confidently give it an 8/10. I just wished the pastry part was a bit crumblier. I remember it harder. Un poquito mas crujiente. Nevertheless, Yo repito.

This is the best Cuban pizza I've had in Miami hands down. Puts Rey's Pizza and Montes de Oca to…read moreshame with their crispy cheesy edges, perfect balance of sauce to cheese ratio, and just the right thickness of the dough. Is the highlight of this place for sure. Try the pizza, any of them delicious. I tried their classic cheese spaghetti and it was nothing special although still good. Their ice cream shakes delicious, made out of pure ice cream, sort of like sueros :) Yum! From the bakery side, they're known for their militones and africanas so I had to try those and YES is true and worth all the buzz they've been getting for them. The flavors take you right back to when you first tried them as a kid in Cuba. It was a nice surprise down memory lane. Now... be ready to wake up in the middle of stereotypical Hialeah when you snap out of it. Patrons are mostly Cubans, with all the stereotypical bells and whistles included. Tight shirts and leggings 3 sizes too small, fake hair clip on pony tails, long acrylic nails and of course the gold chains and their corresponding medallas. We even got a drunk random person stick his head through the door to yell "esto era mejor en Varadero" LOL I mean, definitely entertaining, but I wouldn't make it a sit down enjoy your pizza and africana kind of place. Is a tiny bakery with 2 tables that sit 4, and a very small case where you can see their pastries and cakes displayed. YES go and check it out, is part of Miami's cultural melting pot and YES the Pizza, Africanas and Militones are a MOST! Me... I'll place my order to go and be in and out next time. Peace!
