This is a great place to get quirky gifts! There is a wide array of options for people of all ages. My daughter loved the stuffed animals, while there were gifts for adults and dogs as well. read more

This place has gone down hill more and more as the years have gone by sadly. I used to look forward to coming here when there was old management and there was a "back room". Majority of the staff now acts like they don't recognize you even though you go in there regularly. You can feel the entitlement some of the workers have which results in just a bad experience overall unless you get the right person. I never realized how bad of service I was getting here until I experienced Mo dispensaries. I came back here to get glass and they were double the price and acted like I was stupid when I asked why. This place needs to get with the times, it has changed in a bad way and hopefully things get better soon Won't be back anytime soon now that there are a lot more options out there. read more

Beware, although they don't print it on their receipt, they have a 15 day return policy & 30 day exchange policy. I definitely won't be buying gifts from them again considering this policy. read more

Sunshine Daydream - Tobacco Shops Near Me - Saint Louis, Missouri

See all

I never wake up and tell myself: "Hey, I should buy incense!" But I do pick it up when I go out. I've picked it up here, and laughed to myself at the clerk trying to add up the price of a few sticks of incense with a little difficulty, and a calculator right next to it. I noted the didgeridoo (Australian wind instrument) selection nearby and hoped for the morning when I wake up and say to myself: "I need a didgeridoo!" If I was into tie-dye, I'd buy here, but did find some really cool accessories at this little shop on the Loop. read more

Sunshine Daydream is one of the best places in St. Louis where you can buy, as they say, tobacco products. Inside everyone working is very laid back and eager to help and answer any questions that you might have. They have a nice selection of pipes. The assortment can range from the freakishly large to the small and practical that can slip right into your pocket. Besides selling their tobacco related products they also have clothing there that you can purchase to blatantly say to everyone, "hey look at me." Sunshine Daydream is what it is. If you go in there you typically already know what you are going to get. read more

Fun stuff with a hippie vibe! Sometimes they can be priced on the high side but when it's a unique item that you can't find elsewhere, it is usually worth it. read more

I've been here twice now. The first time I gave them the benefit of the doubt, but twice with different employees is ridiculous. They were very rude and for no reason at all. read more

This place just lost my business which is sad because im a frequent customer. Ill be going to your competition coughing cardinal from now on since your associate refused to help me and told me to go to the other location. I asked for something when your associate looked confused i elaborated on what I meant she then refused to help. See ya never again sunshine! read more

Here's why you should shop at Sunshine: 1) Customer service/staff friendliness is unparalleled across other STL "smoke" shops. Why does it matter? When you're ready to make an investment in something nice they've got your best interest in mind- not their margins. 2) Their variety of product lines will keep you in the store for 30 minutes- wether this was your intention or not. Why not get your incense and papers in one fell swoop? A great place to browse, kill time, and BS with the staff. 3) Finally, Sunshine is the only head shop I've ever been in that WANTS your business, they're not lazy burnouts, and in fact, when quizzed they're very knowledgeable about their product. I'm impressed by the staff's ability to fulfill their niche in the market, maintain the image, AND deliver service without fitting the stereotype of a lazy stoned salesperson. Why such a detailed review? After living down the street from this shop for 20+ years I finally decided to make my own investment in a quality vaporizer- A Mighty Vape by Storz-Bickel (about $500). Why would I spend such an ungodly amount on a vape? They've earned my respect as a customer over those 20 years, I was going to make the purchase anyway, so why not support my friends at Sunshine? They made the sale, without their help I wouldn't be sitting here puffing in such a MIGHTY way. Thanks for doing a great job of maintaing professionalism in the headiest of job atmospheres. ;) read more

Not the best. I asked for help finding a piece for my water pipe and they gave me the wrong size with no receipt. I don't even know if they would take a return on an item like that. There's no way to contact customer support and they rarely answer the phone. I called once to ask a question and after finally answering (took multiple times calling) he cut me off and was short the whole time. read more

Went to buy a new water pipe at Sunshine Daydream last night, the completely amazing soul who helped me was knowledgeable and friendly. Could not have asked for a better, more professional experience! Love this place and their staff! read more

I bought some Shine wraps the other day and when I opened them they were stale and had holes in them. I called them and they didn't offer to make it up or anything. I've gotten stale wraps from there on many occasions. I would not recommend this place. read more
