We came to House of Flavors last year while visiting Ludington, and we knew we HAD to come back a…read moreyear later. The ice cream is that good, and the history and story behind the building make this place such a fun stop. It's easily become one of our all-time favorite ice cream shops! I got the Eskimo Kisses and my husband got the Peanut Butter Bull's-Eye, and both were absolutely incredible. The ice cream here is seriously 100 out of 10. I got mine in a waffle cone, and that was probably the only slightly disappointing part. The cones are pretty small, and honestly, it wasn't my favorite waffle cone compared to some others I've had. But the ICE CREAM makes up for it and then some! There is pretty much always a line here, no matter what time of day you go, but they are incredibly efficient. They move people through quickly, so even when the line looks long, you aren't standing around forever. The inside is so cute and quaint, almost like stepping into an old-fashioned diner or soda fountain. It's bright, fun, clean, and has so much character. I'm still kicking myself that I've never actually stopped here for breakfast or lunch because I've heard their food is worth trying too. One of these days! We ordered from the ice cream side, where they have all of the cones and ice cream treats listed. I didn't see milkshakes and some of the other things you might expect at an old-fashioned ice cream shop on that side, although I'm pretty sure you can get more options if you sit down and order from the restaurant side. If you're in Ludington, you absolutely have to stop at House of Flavors. The ice cream is fantastic, the atmosphere is so much fun, and the history makes it even more special. We came back a year later for a reason, and we'll definitely be back again!

The place seemed busy but luckily there was no wait time. There was a lot of vegetarian options and mostly each combination was available as a salad, wrap or a sandwich. I ordered the cranberry chicken wrap . The wrap felt a little dry but the filling was quite good. I also tasted chicken fajita sandwich and it was awesome. This place has started as an ice-cream shop. They hold a lot of records including one in The Guinness Book of World Records and it shows in their elaborate ice-cream selection.we ordered vanilla with butterscotch and raspberry rendezvous and liked both. Prices are reasonable too. Definitely worth a visit when in town. PS : we walked by the restaurant's ice-cream shop side in the evening again and there was a queue extending to over a block :)

The fries were hot, I wish there was a bit less salt. I got the bacon cheeseburger it was very good. The chicken in the cashew chicken salad was cold, I wish it was a bit warmer if not hot. We got ice cream at the end both chocolate and vanilla were very good. The restaurant was decorated to perfection. I loved the wood look and feel it really matched the vibe of the restaurant. The curves of the corner were really cool and the chandelier matched the atheistic of that corner perfectly. I loved the structure of the restaurant. Everywhere but the bathroom was very tidy. What disappointed me the most was the bathroom. The decoration was good with automatic flushing toilets very good. Toilet paper on the floor and on the walls. The sink wasn't fully connected to the wall and that scared me a bit. There was also trash on the ground, I'm not sure if they thought I wouldn't see it but I did.

Service is usually decently fast, But the environment feels welcoming enough that I don't even mind the wait. I will say they are super expensive, And the normal burgers at least when i tried them were super salty. But the mushroom and swiss that i almost always get now never disappoints me. I have tried any of their chicken or fish based products yet, But all their sides are phenomenal. Especially their chili! 8/10
