In the summer the barn has a huge industrial fan and is surrounded by large oak trees. 2 large rings, a jump course, and trails right across from the barn. Family run for over 20 years. Each camp had a different theme and kids could sign up for the one they liked. -Covered riding area. Rain or shine, the kids could ride. -Kona Ice day. The truck came out and the kids could purchase a treat halfway thru the week. -End of the week presentation. Parents were invited to a Friday performance that showed off what their kids had learned. So why not five stars? Mainly because of the lack of communication. Leading up to the start of camp, the only information we had was from the sheet we filled out months before to reserve our spot. An introductory email would be incredible. Also, the paper handed out to parents about the presentation had the wrong time on. I was only able to confirm the actual time because we attended with a good friend who had the owner's phone number. Tightening up the communication would take Suncoast's Summer Camps from being amazing to perfect!

Windsong equestrian farm is the perfect place to have your horse. They have two main arenas, one…read moreround pen and a 10 acre open field in the back. One of the arenas is covered with mirrors at one end. They have enough individual paddocks for each individual horse. There is automatic water buckets and fly spray systems. Each border gets their own individual locker. There is a main hall that has a refrigerator, a dining area and a sitting area. For one rate, they will feed, hay, muck out, blanket, give dewormers, bring in and take out to paddocks. They have four dressage trainers on hand. They recently underwent a manager change. The new manager is Willette Brown. The barn owner is Lori Wubker. While they all, very obviously, care for your equine. Be sure to write out, explicitly, how you would like your horse to be treated. Otherwise they will do what they believe is best, which isn't always the case.
