While his quote was very similar to another vendor's quote (the third was outrageous), we went with Julio because of his apparent experience, and we do not regret it. We arranged a date that would work for us both, and he and his crew were on time, and got to work. After some of the prep work, he pointed out some additional areas with rotten wood that we hadn't noticed, and gave us a very good deal on replacing them, as they weren't included in the original quote (other vendors I would expect would use this opportunity to overcharge since we were already committed). He also asked if we wanted our concrete porch to be painted, which we hadn't even considered as a possibility, and again, gave us a good deal on it. His crew was skilled and paid attention to details. His time estimate was very accurate as well (it took 6 days including the power washing), and at the end, his crew went around the house to do touchups on things that were missed. We highly recommend Valle painting if you want to get your house painted. In the end, even with the additional work, the cost wound up being the same as the quote from our second vendor choice. We definitely picked the right people to do the job.

Eric was consistently friendly, helpful, and a pleasure to work with. He brought a great attitude, and whenever I requested a correction or an addition, he listened and took care of it. I truly appreciated his patience, hard work, and willingness to help get every detail right. The project included my living room, kitchen, bedrooms, hallways, bathrooms, doors, and more. Fredy stood out because he was personable and very knowledgeable, and his quote was incredibly thorough and reasonably priced for the scope of the work. Fredy and his crew spent nine days at our house sanding, patching holes, caulking throughout, repairing water-damaged areas, taping, papering, painting, and repainting! The amount of preparation and attention to detail was remarkable. The crew is dedicated and caring! They also went above and beyond to make sure we were happy. They tried different stains on our wood shingles until we found a look we loved. After they painted our door, we realized we didn't like the type of paint we had selected. I found The Affordable & Licensed Handyman through Yelp because they had great reviews so I was interested to see how much their service fee would be for a simple job when I was looking for a plumber. I needed a license plumber due to home insurance requirement to do this installation or I would've done it myself. They were responsive when I talked to them through Yelp projects. I was shocked with how much I was quoted because it was almost double the price of the automatic shut off valve device I paid for. So I had to confirm that the price that was given to me was just to switch out the bad unit with the new one. They didn't have to do anything else like run new pipes or replace anything else. When I communicated to them that the quote was high, they asked how much did i wanted to pay. I thought they would try to be more reasonable since the name is The Affordable. I give them a range based on the prices from other plumbing company that I reached out to and they couldn't do it which I understand they can set their own prices. Maybe for big projects, they'll give more of a reasonable price which is why they have great reviews on Yelp but just to replace a bad automatic shut off valve with a brand new one, I think it was overprice so I used another plumbing company where they were very reasonable on the price.
