Sunset plumbing installed a new filter system for my above ground pool. It was several days of work bc the pool had to be refitted to American standards. Wow! What effort. George had to research & then locate parts. It was a very difficult job! Appreciate so much. I use my pool daily. THANK YOU ! George also installed a water heater & a dishwasher ( which was a tough install due to previous dishwasher having different fittings). read more

I can't say enough about my experience today with Georg, Sunset Plumbing. He was at my home within less than 2 hours. I was not a prior client, very first time. George found the problem and rectified my problem. I had no water whatsoever. I thought his fee would be astronomical, considering he came from Lehigh Acres, more importantly, I had an emergency situation, and that was not the case. George is polite, as well as professional. He asked to come into my condo, had a business card, and, removed his shoes. A top notch professional plumber who I'll be using in the future with any other issue. Thank you George! read more

After two other plumbers not being able to fix my toilet, George came out and had it fixed in 15 minutes. Very friendly, professional and knowledgeable. Prices were great read more

George was here. Fast and to the point. Toilet now is working perfect. From the work to payment all was smooth.

George responded to a call at about 3 pm on a Saturday on what was an emergent need- main line back-up. He was great with calling me back, coming at the time he told me, and working to clear the problem quickly and cleanly. It was a "shitty" situation and he made it all better!!! I will share his card with all my neighbors and friends. Thanks George! read more

Great accurate professional service. Excellent communication and knowledge of the job requirements.

George is amazing! I used him back in December and he unclogged my home. I had an issue today and he drove 5 hours to resolve the issue! He is great! Very knowledgeable! Hire him for your plumbing needs ! read more

I honestly can't say enough great things about George. He was punctual, very professional, gave detailed descriptions, and walked me through his plan and approach. Once the work was done, he cleaned up and left things better than they were when he got to the house. I had a list of work I needed done because it seems that several items stopped working within days of each other. His prices were reasonable and he was able to attack my list immediately. A few hours later, we had a working sink, unclogged drains, new toilet, and new water heater. We are absolutely impressed with this company. I strongly recommend him and I will absolutely call him when I am in need of more fixes. read more

The positive of having a hot water heater catch fire on New Year's Eve is that we met George and now have a go to plumber to call on. An incredibly nice gentleman and people person who was so responsive and helpful from our first call. George responded to our leak problem quickly, fixed the leak but left us without a working water filter and water softener and has not cashed the check we sent him to replace the first one he said he lost. Guess he doesn't need the money. read more

I left messages for 6 plumbing companies in the area and Sunset was the only one to return my call. I must have hit the jackpot! George was amazing - responsive, did great work with a very high level of integrity. He is a master plumber with years of experience and fixed the many problems that my mother (who is fighting cancer and didn't have the energy to address the mounting issues in her condo) and he found a couple more items that were about to become major issues and fixed those as well. He replaced the water heater, all of the valves under the sink, several faucets, fixed her toilet and installed a new shower head that she purchased efficiently and at a reasonable cost. If you need a plumber - this is your go to guy in South Florida. His work is flawless, he is extremely honest and responsive, and I will call on him for any other plumbing jobs that come up. BEWARE OF UNLICENSED AND UNINSURED WORK LOOKING FOR QUICK DOLLAR . Had owner / operator George Feurtado JR come out to give quote on a few shower valves and main shut off manifold in order to pass inspection and finalize sale of home. Quote was a bit higher than others received from competitors but I have no problems paying for quality work. I became concerned George was hesitant to pull permits and provide me with his credentials to prove he was licensed and insured as required from the purchaser of home. Raised a red flag for me and after further research on the company it is only a LIMITED LIABILITY COMPANY ( LLC ) linked to a company called " Sunset Drain Worx LLC ". An LLC is similar to a handy man license and doesn't require any experience or qualifications by the state to obtain. George Feurtado JR is NOT A LICENSED PLUMBER BY THE STATE OF FLORIDA THEREFORE IS NOT ALLOWED TO WORK ON PLUMBING AND DRAINAGE SYSTEMS COMMERCIALLY NOR RESIDENTIALLY . In state or Florida unlicensed contracting is a serious crime that could result in a FELONY and jail time + fines . In event plumbing disaster occurring by unlicensed, uninsured work being done by inexperienced individuals you could be at a huge loss and responsible for any damages caused to your home , apartment , condo and surrounding areas. DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS COMPANY. Always be weary and verify company credentials and licensing before agreeing to any work to avoid scams , price gouging , and unprofessional work that can result in $$$$ loss to you. read more

Our water heater was leaking. We reached out to a handful of plumbers - two quoted a price so ridiculous they had to think I was an idiot, one was rude, and then we found George, Sunset Plumbing & Drains. What a find! Came out on a Saturday, showed up on time, was totally prepared, was courteous, professional, reasonably priced, and did a great job. He even cleaned up after the work was finished (many do the job and leave you with a mess). We will use George on other properties we have. I highly recommend him. read more

I'm amazed with the knowledge George possesses in regards to his craft. To find a highly skilled technician in one so young is incredible. He has done multiple jobs at my home and I don't feel I need to go anywhere else for future projects. George is my go-to guy for any plumbing need. read more

one of the worst service I've received. Never called me back. Took forever to answer when he finally did. After 2 days of trying to reach him, finally got in touch with him and he gave me this outlandish quote! Almost had me on the floor. Talked the price down when he arranged this guy looks like the biggest slob. Had his buttcrack out throughout my house read more

Our toilet got clogged with one of those Ty-d-bowl in bowl plastic contraptions. We have a home warranty company, but they would have made us 2 weeks to get that taken care of plus we wanted the temperature on our water heater increased. We weren't willing to wait the two weeks, so I posted the project on Yelp. Brendan from Sunset was the first to respond with the quickest response time. The next day, Brendan and his crew had taken care of everything. They disinfected the area they worked in, wore booties while in our home, were very professional and personable. We will definitely hire again! read more

George is a hard-working, smart and personable young man who knows plumbing. He discovered we needed to get parts from Moen to fix our old faucet, so he didn't charge us for his first service call. George made time to come replace our kitchen faucet which was causing us to have no water for our kitchen sink. He was very responsive and gave us his expert advice on which replacement faucet to buy. We highly recommend Sunset Plumbing and Drains! read more

Poor George. He walked into a den of vipers with my water heater repair. He said I should replace it, as he knows what he's talking about. But no, I said. It's only 4 years old... that being said, this hi tech piece of junk was a nightmare. Both heating elements were fried. And I had so much silt in this can of sludge, it could never really be cleaned out. But I said FORGE ahead. As the customer, I know best. Lets, as in everyone, just agree that I don't. And poor George, putting up with my google brain, just worked thru all the issues. So, I needed up having to buy a new water heater and because I dated a guy in high school with the last name of Murphy, I have instant rights to that law. As shown when putting in the water heater, the water rotted floor underneath collapsed. Poor George, now he's building up the floor and sweating his butt off. 3 days later, which would have been 1, if I listened to George in the first place - I finally had hot water. George is a very patient young man. He's got his stuff together. He learned the trade in his father's business and is out to make his own name. I say hip hip hooray to that. A rare feat in todays youth, the willingness to learn and work hard and make it thru life on your own. Keep on keeping on George. I wish you all of life's happiness. read more

George did a great job. The job, outdoor grill gas and sink, became more complex with a plumbing trap that had to be very tight to the sink to get over a trash bin. George worked it out and persevered. It took him longer than expected but he gave me a price and he honored it. George is a good guy, trying to grow his business. He is honest and fair. We will employ him again. read more
